I belive that Sarah Palin used a YAHOO email address for certain types of government business that was technically allowed. She received .gov emails from the yahoo account, but did NOT send emails from a .gov account illegally.

Also, the punk who hacked her Yahoo account was found guilty.

The “Trooper Gate scandal” was a big, fat nothing, which is why I had to Google it to even remember what it was about.

Believe me, I am not a union fan. That said, the union official is probably correct that he is entitled to use the .gov email address to contact his membership. All one needs to do is Google “SEIU” and “Veterans Affairs” to find that the use of .gov email is allowable in many of the negotiated contracts between those groups, national and local. In many of those same contracts the VA must pay the union’s travel expenses, provide them an office, two phone lines, copiers, faxes, vehicles and etc. After several trips to the VA Hospital trying to find a place to park it was discovered that the local union official had his own prime reserved parking slot that noone elese could park in. Many severely disabled veterans were having to park in muddy fields in the rear of the facility while this prime spot was being reserved for a union bureaucrat. Came close to dragging the reserved sign down with a chain. Label me still extremely pissed about all the union BS perks from the taxpayers.

P.S. Many of the VA workers and SEIU members lobby alongside Code Pink in Washington, DC against our wounded warriors. Have seen it happen with my own eyes.
