The Bloggers for Peace Flotilla reached Rockford, Illinois just moments ago.

We swept the Clocktower “Resort” and “Spa” including the Tilted Kilt but no signs of the missing Wisconsin Fleebaggers. That’s author Brad Thor and me outside the Clocktower resort.

That’s Andrew Breitbart and me. The fleebaggers already left for Chicago. We didn’t have time to swing by the Ayers residence.
We did see this bus speeding out of the lot as we pulled up.

No… No, it couldn’t be.

Can anyone tell me if these public workers have opted out of Social Security and pay into the Public Employee Retirement System?
Ed commented:
it was stated in a chicago local news station that the fleabaggers are in the McCormick Place Hyatt hotel…right next to the McCormick Place convention center where the Chicago Auto show is being held.
Cloberto commented:
Who is paying for the bus? If it is taxpayers, coming out of some government fund, then the governor should call the company and tell them “Sorry, we’re not footing this bill.” See what happens then.
Joe Camel commented:
There should be a law, since they just love laws that says one will not be paid when one exhibits this type of behavior. After all, the taxpayers are paying these salaries for them.

Eric Cantor claims the House has passed “over $100 billion” in cuts, when in actuality they’ve passed $61 billion. Yes, it WOULD be over $100 billion if it was for the entire year, BUT IT ISN’T.
Very cute Cantor, very cute. Problem is we patriots DON’T LIKE CUTE you lying POS. We get plenty of that from the ‘rats.
Primary these RINO scumbags.

These folks have cell phones… track them by their cell phone pings, or slap GPS trackers on their vehicles, or use the GPS chips in their phones. Or better yet, let them stay on the run and remove them all from office with recall petitions.
FU#K OBAMA commented:
#8, The cuts were from 2011 spending. Applaud this!
The big cuts of 100 billion and more need to come from the 2012 budget. That had better happen or the republican party will not get another vote from those who brung them to the dance. There will be a TEA party and the GOP will vanish into the trash heap of history.

There is already a law in the State of Wisconsin which states that Govt. workers cannot strike. If the teachers want to jeopardize their careers and $89,000 a year salaries — then firing 5,000 teachers is the only thing left to do. My sympathies lie elsewhere.
M. Simon commented:
Next time you are headed for Rockford give me a shout (a comment on any current post at my blog will do) – I’d like to do a meet and greet – even for a few minutes.

I’m a teaching paraprofessional in Georgia. Our teachers can choose to belong to teacher organizations, but we’re not unionized. Because of Georgia’s financial woes, we’ve had to take 5 furlough days this school year and we had some layoffs last year. I am making less now (which isn’t much to begin with) than I was 3 years ago. Teacher pay here doesn’t touch what these jerks make. We pay our fair share of our teacher retirement and insurance, even though I am on my husband’s insurance. I have no sympathy for these whiny Wisconsin teachers. They need to get their sorry butts back in the classroom; after all we are supposed to be there for the children. Walker needs to go all Reagan on them and fire the lazy lot. Good riddance to bad rubbage.

You know when I think about some one like ckn fingers being as smart as he/she is to waste that knowledge to help destroy our wonderful America ….I just do not understand. But I am telling you with Jim’s blog here and all of the wonderful intelligent people coming here to Jim’s blog we will survive this awful time in our lives.
I sure wish I was in Wisconsin today!

what is the point of people (on both sides of the issue) coming from out of state to join the protest. They have no vote there, the politicians do not represent the outsiders. Are the outsiders trying to fool the politicians into thinking more local people are protesting than really are?
If the governer really wanted to reduce the power of the unions he should not pass this bill. He has stated that the alternative to this bill is layoffs because the state has a balanced budget amendment. If he wanted to bust the unions he should go for the layoffs, then pass the bill afterwards. He idoesn’t want to do that because he is probably thinking of the good of the school children who need teachers. It’s too bad the teachers union, who don’t want the bill passed, do not have the same concern for the children, or any concern for the teachers who would be layed off. The union’s concern is only for the power of the union.
uv2rtfv8ct6rf72y commented:
P.S. And all those teachers and students who are protesting the bill are dupes of the union because they are protesting for layoffs and fewer teachers in the schools.
