Keep digging democrats.
Far left Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn (D-S.C.) says Sarah Palin is unable to understand the bogus media charges against her this week.

The Hill reported:

A House Democratic leader on Wednesday lashed out at Sarah Palin, accusing the former Alaska governor of being intellectually unable of understanding why she’s faced criticism related to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.).

Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said that Palin had missed the point by releasing a statement this morning blasting the media for “blood libel” for looking to assign blame in part to her rhetoric after the attempted assassination of Giffords last weekend.

“You know, Sarah Palin just can’t seem to get it, on any front. I think she’s an attractive person, she is articulate,” Clyburn said on the Bill Press radio show. “But I think intellectually, she seems not to be able to understand what’s going on here.”

Palin broke her relative silence since the attack on Giffords, which some Democrats have said created an environment that allowed such an attack on a member of Congress. Democrats have honed in on the map Palin’s PAC had released, depicting targeted lawmakers in the election with crosshairs over their district.

“Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own,” Palin wrote. “They begin and end with the criminals who commit them, not collectively with all the citizens of a state, not with those who listen to talk radio, not with maps of swing districts used by both sides of the aisle, not with law-abiding citizens who respectfully exercise their First Amendment rights at campaign rallies, not with those who proudly voted in the last election.”

Clyburn said that Palin didn’t grasp why such rhetoric was so troubling, regardless of the motivations of the alleged shooter of Giffords.

What a horrible person.
Now, who is the idiot again?

  1. Once again we see the libs go after a woman who, according to them, has no chance of being president.

I think you’re trying to hard, fellas!!!!

    Your fear is showing!!!

  2. Now, THAT was one jackash of a statement from someone exuding ignorance.

  3. Good grief! Clyburn calling the kettle black?

These mental midgets in congress have no clue just how sad they really are.

  4. I’d link to every stupid statement the congressman has made, but there’s simply not enough bandwidth.

  5. Seems to be the norm for folks in the CBC to strike out against everyone not like them. Gerrymandered districts are what keep these people in power, much like Cleaver in Missouri. They can be as controversial as they wish, and know they will suffer no consequences for those actions.

  6. The democrats say they want to work with the Repubs, but with all this inflammatory language, they sure are burning their bridges. Remember when Clyburn called MxCain a racist, and it made McCain break up?

  7. Watch out for the glass shards impinging on your ankles, Congressman.

Given the NYT is reporting Dupnik’s duplicitous misdirection and the esteemed commentator Bechtel of Georgetown is down playing Liberal histrionics as self-policed and desisted you might be behind the curve.

  8. Palin’s statement seemed pretty coherent to me….

  9. Clyburn complained that Alvin Greene was a GOP plant b/c he (Greene) couldn’t really represent democrats.

Au contraire, Burgermeister Clyburn. Both you and Greene are stupid and slovenly, representing to a T the welfare class lead by elitists that so characterizes the democratic party.

Sarah Palin has more class in one of her discarded fingernails clippings that Clyburn could ever hope to have.

  10. In perpetuating the vitriol against Palin, Clyburn shows that he is the one that intellectually just doesn’t get it and fails to understand what is going on. He is the one guilty of the accusations he makes against her.

  11. Clyburn has it exactly backwards.

Clyburn is so ideologically-handicapped that he cannot understand why the charges about Palin ARE bogus and deserve EXACTLY the treatment Palin is giving them. By the way 60% of the public agrees with Palin, right now.

That 60% will grow as the facts begin to ooze out of this situation, despite the despicable efforts of the media, politicians, and even the idiot sheriff of Pima County, to stifle them and to focus instead on the politics. Facts? Yeah facts, such as the shooter’s past – his years of being disconnected from reality, his obsession with the Congresswoman, his record of arrests, and the failure of the county sheriff’s department to respond to this miscreant in any responsible or meaningful way.

As the public learns more of the facts, this howling mob of Democrat politicians and their fellow-travelers will simply quiet down.

Mind you, they won’t change their opinions or concede they are biased or wrong. They will just quiet down, and await their NEXT opportunity to howl in predictable rage against . . . facts. Their side is losing the public every day, and they don’t even know it. Clymer got the “intellectually unable” part right – - but he should be looking in the mirror.

  12. Well, let’s talk about stupid …

  13. Clyburn said that Palin didn’t grasp why such rhetoric was so troubling, regardless of the motivations of the alleged shooter of Giffords.

You know what’s troubling Mr. Clyburn?

That asshats like you have shoe horned themselves into a position of power. Fortunately, you speak only for a fringe group of Americans.

  14. “But I think intellectually, she seems not to be able to understand what’s going on here.”

Is he insane or a liar?

  15. The democrat’s claims are so convoluted that nobody can understand them; even a CBS lame stream media poll showed the American public believes the shooter is a lone mad man.

The only thing we understand is that you are trying to blame Sarah P. for this atrocity and its BS, and we won’t stand for it.

    Can the adults take over?

  16. #14 January 12, 2011 at 9:05 am

    Both.

  17. I do not worry about Sarah, God,s got her back. Her spirit is what what these leftists are afraid of and they should be. They know that in the end we win.

  18. That’s his argument. “You’re stupid.”

I swear, the Democrats are on the intelectual level of pre-kindergarten kids.

What’s coming next? My daddy can beat up your daddy? Your mom’s ugly?

  19. Pot calling kettle! Pot calling kettle! Come in, kettle!

Utterly amazing that such a level of rhetorical volume can originate from deep within such a profound cranial vacuum.

Makes good ol’ Alan Grayson appear positively rational and cogent in comparison.

    Whatta maroooooooooon!

  20. Isn’t this the same moron and liar that said the Tea Party shouted N***** repeatedly and spit on black congressmen during the protest just before ObamaCare’s passing?
