Stalin Statue Decapitated Then Blown Up in Ukraine

“Extremists” decapitated a Stalin statue in Ukraine on Wednesday.
Last night they blew it up.
Local communists are outraged.

The communists unveiled the statue in may.

The AFP reported:

Extremists blew up a controversial monument to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin on New Year’s night in southeastern Ukraine in an “act of terror”, the local Communist Party said on Saturday.

The bust in the city of Zaporizhia, unveiled this May, caused a heated controversy in Ukraine which is still split between its nationalist west and the more Russian orientated east which fondly remembers the Soviet past.

“A criminal broke into the grounds of the Communist Party regional headquarters, and laid an explosive charge which detonated after a few minutes,” the Communist Party said.

“The statue of Stalin was destroyed as a result of the blast,” the Communists said in a statement. It said that the explosion inflicted serious damage on the building but there were no casualties.

The explosion took place at 10:40 pm (2040 GMT) on New Year’s Eve, it said.

Stalin murdered over 7,000,000 Ukrainians in his terror famine or Holodomor in 1932-1933.

They could still salvage its artistic value by smearing what remains in urine and feces. I’m sure the Brooklyn Museum of Art would welcome a “Piss Stalin” exhibit, right?

Ukrainians are tough, creative, sweet people and are mostly Catholic Christians. Don’t mess with them. There is very little that they fear. Now we need to get the person who blew up the statue over to Arlington Nantional Cemetery to blow up the Stalin Statue that the ‘hypocrite in chief’ installed there. Or was it a Lenin statue?

The Stalin apologists need to be reminded that the more heavily populated western third of today’s Ukraine was under Polish rule and hence escaped the murderous legions of Stalin so loved and staunchly defended by the lamestream media of the day & American leftists to present.
Had Stalin had power over the Western 1/3 of the Ukraine he would have doubled the Holdomor’s death toll. One needs to remind our lovers of the murderous marxists that the Soviets created a deadly famine in the Ukraine 1920-3 that ended the lives of millions of other Ukrainians & were it not for the rescue efforts of Herbert Hoover that politically created famine would have been as deadly to Ukrainians as the Holdomor.

For a group of folks who claim to “objective”, and “scientific”, they sure find a lot of opportunity to put things in a subjective context.

‘Good vs Evil’ is religious terminology. By supporting ‘good’ things, and opposing ‘bad’ things, Liberals are re-defining ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’. They have created a ‘State Religion’……a set of MORAL values for all things in life.
