As Egypt Burns…Obama Parties

It’s much worse than we thought.

Barack Obama sure is concerned about the future of the Middle East, Isreal and the world.

As Cairo burned yesterday he met with his security team — for an hour.

It was exhausting. He needed a break.

Then on Saturday night he went out and partied with Axelrod… for at least two hours!
Kristinn reported:

As thirty years of United States Middle East strategy teeters on collapse, Barack Obama spent Saturday night at a going away party for David Axelrod who is leaving the administration to set up Obama’s reelection campaign in Chicago. The party was held at the Dupont Circle condo of former Obama aide Linda Douglass.

Douglass, who is now with the National Journal, played host to a gathering of cabinet secretaries including Arne Duncan (Education), Timothy Geithner (Treasury) and Steven Chu (Energy) and prominent reporters including Major Garrett (National Journal), Jake Tapper (ABC), Chuck Todd (NBC) and John Harwood (CNBC/New York Times).

Obama spent nearly two hours at the party.

Everyone has their priorities.

  3. Professor O’Barry is a passive aggressive. Treating the office of the POTUS as if it were an internship is his way of dissing America and what it stands for. It is his way of expressing his anger and rage. Dinesh D’Souza nailed him with his book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.”

  6. It’s above his pay grade.

  7. Can you imagine what the MSM would have said if this was George Bush?

Oh wait, since they were partying WITH Obama we won’t hear a thing about it from them.

  8. An old jewish proverb: A hundred wise men cannot undo the foolishness of a single person.

When Obama is that fool, and he is, it will take at least two generations to comprehend and attempt to patch up the damage that is being done while we sleep. The suez canal will be in the clutches of radical islam; the Horn of Africa, filled with al quaida sponsored somali pirates will cut off the Red Sea and Indian ocean for Israel; the sinai peninsula will fill up with the Egyptian army at Israel’s border; islamic radicalism will continue to replace Attaturk’s turkish republic.

And these are just starters for what is to come. 2012 may indeed realize the Mayan prediction.
Chances for an Atomic war in the middle east has just increased exponentially and our muslim president is happy to see it occur. Only one problem: No one has ever managed to wipe out the Jews and don’t anyone bet on it happening this time, either.

    Israel: last country standing!

  9. As upsetting as Obambi’s behavior is, is anyone else bothered by all of these Beltway govt. twats and the MSM hanging out and partying with each other? It pretty much tells you the MSM and the DC Beltway establishment are one and the same and not on the side of everyday Americans.

I don’t want them to BFF’s/Buds/Bro’s/et al. I want them to hold each other in contempt which is something the MSM manages to figure out only when there is a Republican in a position of power.

  10. What does he care, he has a built in excuse. It’s all Bush’s fault! God help us. mpw

  11. voting “present” again.

  12. But…but…

Bush spent SEVEN WHOLE MINUTES reading “My Pet Goat” to a group of kiddos when he was told about the 9/11 attack!

So this is just cheap political points.

Or maybe, he feels he can relax now since everything is going according to plan.

  15. How fun could that be: a party with every pencil-neck bureaucrat in DC! What could Major have been thinking? Has anyone heard from him since he left FOX?

    GREAT COMMENT!

    As God told us:

    Zech 8-9 KJV:

“8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

“9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.”

Nothing can stand against Eretz Yisrael. Nothing will stand against Eretz Yisrael. God is faithful.

Sad truth: any nation which attacks Israel will be utterly destroyed. Even our United States.

    __________

We twisted the Israeli’s arm to force them to give the Suez Canal to the Egyptians. Expect the canal to be closed shortly.

The good news? Not long ago the Israeli’s made an oil/gas discovery off their coast that is supposed to be one of the largest deposits in the world – even bigger than Alaska.

  31. What about the Suez Canal, What about Israel, what about the price of oil…… Nobody asking what about the CHRISTIANS ! Geraldo just interviewed some American Egyptian Christians and they are very much afraid for their family back home who they claim have barricaded themselves inside their homes, and fear for their very lives. When Pakistan became an Islamic state independant from India, there was a purge of 1 million lives lost !

  32. I agree with those who say that America should secure the Suez Canal.

We have the ability. Perhaps rogue elements of our Navy will do so, despite our CiC’s reluctance to do anything which would safeguard the oil supply for the entire Western World.

Screw what Obama thinks, says, or commands. Our Navy should just f***ing do it.

    If we don’t, expect riots.

$10.00 per gallon gas will do that. And that’s a low estimate.

    THE WAR AGAINST THE SAUDIS

    by Justin Riamondo
    January 23, 2002

    [DEMOCRATS TAKE THE LEAD

    'FORBIDDEN TRUTH'

This fusillade comes as the climax of a furious post-9/11 anti-Saudi propaganda campaign that has gone into overdrive in recent weeks. From noting that most of the alleged hijackers were identified as Saudi nationals to screaming headlines about a dispute between a visiting Saudi princess and her maid, the anti-Saudi jihad has become an intellectual paradigm for the theoreticians of a new cold war. Neoconservative ideologues such as Daniel Pipes and Stephen Schwartz, see Wahabism as the totalitarian flavor of the new millennium, just as the varieties of socialism (Stalinism and Nazism) were the scourge of the twentieth century. This view has been popularized – indeed, one might say novelized – by a new book, written and published inside of a few weeks, Bin Laden, The Forbidden Truth, by Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie, described by the Los Angeles Times as

"A dense, conspiracy-minded portrait of Saudi-dominated banks, companies and tycoons, all allegedly interconnected, that they maintain have helped fund Bin Laden's holy war."

This was the rock upon which the US-Saudi alliance was founded, and anyone who questioned the necessity, wisdom, or cost of this friendship – let alone calling for a US withdrawal – was roundly denounced as a foolish "isolationist." Now, the same people who hailed the Gulf war and the imperative of defending the Saudi oil fields, have turned on a dime, and are not only calling the historic friendship into question, but openly wondering if the Saudis are enemies.

How to explain this sudden about-face by the chattering classes, the political mavens, and now a growing number of mostly Democratic politicians? I say – follow the money!

Oh, but "everything's changed!," they cry. How can you be so cynical? Don't you know that skepticism is out and earnestness is in? Be that as it may, I can only report the facts as I see them, and what I can tell you is that everything changed well before September 11, 2001, as far as the Rockefeller oil interests in Saudi Arabia were concerned.

This is none other than the Transcaucasian "Silk Road" pipeline project, slated to extend from the Caspian Sea oilfields to Turkey, and perhaps down through Afghanistan to the Indian Ocean. This project has long been on the drawing boards, and the Clinton administration took it up with alacrity, even going so far as to set up a special department to facilitate its creation. If the foreign oil companies were going to try to go around them, said the Prince in so many words, then two could play that game:

Q: "Your Royal Highness what about Saudi Aramco? Will it assume a new role following the formation of the council and the invitation of the international oil companies?"

A: "We are proud of Aramco's achievements through the years and our dealings with foreign companies will never be at the expense of Aramco. I believe the presence of these companies will strengthen Aramco and sharpen its competitive edge. Aramco, has, I believe, the administrative and technical expertise and know-how that enable it to compete effectively with these companies."

Just began reading the article at link:

“Washington is all atwitter over what appears to be a sea-change on the foreign policy front: evidence of a developing rift between the US and Saudi Arabia…”

Was this an unexpected “rift”, do you think? Between the GREAT SATAN and the home of Medina and Mecca? If it was, quite a few decades after Jefferson and Churchill knew and wrote all about the Mohammadans, then we had, even then, become an incompetent and historically illiterate nation. A “rift” has just now, in TWO THOUSAND AND TWO, BEGUN to be evidenced by the academics and journalists??!! My god, our nation, by 2002, was run and informed by complete and utter idiots.

Going back to the article after that initial mind-boggling whopper.

  37. whats the problem? obama is so smart one of his hours is worth ten of anyone else.

  38. Bookmarked on my toolbar, since I am too tired and slightly inebriated on Union-made beer (damn the unions!) to properly assess the article.

  39. “A developing rift.”

If I wasn’t laughing, I would be crying. Developing. YAH, SINCE AROUND A.D. 1700 or SO, YOU MORONS!

    W.T.F. and goodnight all.

  40. Starvation for millions around the world, and here riots over food. $10.00 a gallon gas will prevent food getting to market, farmers can’t plant. The death panels in health care will govern all the elderly diverting food away from them. All this because we refuse to remove garbage from the White House. Party on Obama all is well according to you. Egypt, Venezuela, Iran, Tunisia, Peru, Turkey, and so many others that you were on the wrong side of. You couldn’t have caused this much damage if you had tried, no you just let it happen. One day, GOOD LORD willing, all of this cadre will be caught with their hands in the cookie jar, and will have to pay the piper.

donh, all of the issues listed are very important. The Christians in Egypt will be the most immediately at rist. Next will be the Israeli Christians, along with all Israelis. The Christians and all citizens of the western world will either follow or perhaps be at risk simultaneously with Israel. That’s hard to say. It depends on how long it takes from the moment the Suez Canal is locked and blocked until there is little to no food to be found in the west. This is the part the libtards can’t seem to grasp. When they think about oil shortages in the US, they envision cute bunnies safely crossing what used to be high-traffic roads and butterflies dancing in the now-clearer air over empty interstate exchanges. Their sickened minds won’t allow them to imagine any further impact. Businesses closing or letting go of workers because they can’t afford to pay them and the power bills, too, especially not with the increased cost of paying their suppliers and vendors. The cost of producing food, from seed to grocery sack, every step along the way increasing to the point that even those still employed can’t afford to buy it. The producers, distributors and retailers unable to produce, distribute and retail it in abundance because the cost of doing so has grown so high that they had to let their workers go, too. And the cycle continues, round and round, until no one is working and no one is eating…and bored, idle, hungry people have been known to be downright vicious. (I tell all PETArds now, should that day ever come, don’t try to stand between me and that cute little bunnie in the road or you just might end up in the soup, too.)

Michelle’s dresses look like they cost $50.00 – but in actuality, closer to $2000 is the average. She buys top name designer clothes and then makes them look like cheap crap.
