They Don’t Want To Hear It.
The democrats are rebelling against reading of the US Constitution on the House Floor.
Michelle Malkin joined FOX and Friends with reaction.
Via FOX Nation:
Dahlia Lithwick of Slate.com called today’s reading of the Constitution a “fetish.”
The New York Times called it a “ritual of self-glorification.”
You’d think they were being told to kill babies… Uh, never mind.
Bad analogy.
UPDATE: Few democrats showed up for the reading today.
What a surprise.

Just the Demonrats showing their true anti-American colors. The Constitution is so yesterday to them. They would prefer that Obama just be a dictator.

For most Democrats this will be the first time they even heard the actual words.
Because most Democrats have no ethics based on absolute truth their taking of the Article VI oath, see also 5 USC section 3331, means nothing!

Think of the Constitution as a bucket of water, and think of liberals as Margaret Hamilton.

[OPERATION DEMORALIZE.
The mainstream media will undertake, and already has undertaken, a concerted effort to blame the Republican House for everything that goes wrong, for not living up to promises, for living up to promises, for failing to compromise, for selling out, etc.
Do not fall for it.
Holding the Republican House to its commitments is one
thing; falling for Operation Demoralize is something else.
If you think that the mainstream media is not
still 100% in the tank for Obama, think again.]

The Left hates the Constitution because they know, as Obama once admitted, it is a document that basically lists what the government cannot do.
They only wrap themselves in the Constitution when it comes to shoving Christianity underground, increasing the power of Islam in America, and protecting libertine “rights” to sex and abortion that don’t exist in the document in the first place. The Constitution is a sometimes convenient shield for cultural Marxism and social breakdown.

I went back and read Nehemiah chapter 8&9. When the scrolls were read the people stood out of respect (for hours). They also were reminded of all of the things they had falled away from. These morons think they know it all and refuse to be reminded.

Of course this article is coming from the New York Times. It’s the same paper that buried the Holocaust in the back pages of its fish wrapper during WWII. They didn’t want Hitler to be exposed for the monster he truly was, just as they don’t Obama.
Hey New York Times. Is the real problem that you take issue with the reading of the Natural Born Citizen provision? Where’s Governor Abercrombie the reject from the 1960′s with the birth certificate for Hawaii? Maybe the hospital will be given permission to release it? I didn’t think so. They don’t want to be implicated in fraud do they?
Did readers here know Soetoro was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 1981? That’s why we can’t see the medical records.

Heaven forbid that some citizens might be watching CSpan. They might even learn what their rights are. That would mean the end of the Obama era. What are unemployed communist suppose to do then?

They are like thieves. The 111th cong and the Obamanites that are left ( and Left!) are stealing our heritage. It is all we have as a country. With the introduction of all the illegals we can no longer communicate with each other. Try asking a question in a store these days.
They have ruined all our founders and taken them away.
Now they are determined to undermine and scotch our founding documents and laws–
the Declaration and the U.S.Constitution.
Of course the Constitution is a listing of what the govt may not do. That is what made us so great. I talked to a man moving from Belgium. He said some of the great things about the USA is that if you want to start a business, you can do it pretty much unfettered. For a candy company, he said, you get a pot and some sugar and so forth and you are on your way. Then when you get big you need some paper work, permits, clearances. And even those are a matter of filling out a few forms and a few fees and an inspection. He said there is no
“Schwarzgeld”,
In the EU you get a 200 page book and 2 yrs of inspections and fees, “etc” to even begin.
No one shakes you down here either, he said.
Finally, Justice Felix Frankfurter said one time that Americans have a fundamental right to be left alone.
I heard that in Political Science class years ago and never forgot it. We should return to that idea.
Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
I hope that the Constitution is read very, very slowly so it takes literally days to get through it all. Then, they can read all the Amendments!! And when the Dems storm out of the Congressional Hall in protest, the America people will want to know why?
Stuart commented:
To the Democrats the Constitution can be boiled down to a relatively few points.
Article 1
You the people (or at least the female half of you)have the right to kill your unborn children.
Article 2
We the government have the right to do any damn thing we want the aforesaid You the people.
Article 3
You the people have the right to be protected from any exposure to religion, (Islam is hereby excepted from this provision.)
Article 4
You the people have the right to remain silent

we really need a new word to define the depth of Democratic hypocrisy..
Obama on Byrd: ‘A Senate icon’
[President Obama lauded the late Sen. Robert C. Byrd today for keeping faith with his family, his state of West Virginia and his beloved U.S. Constitution.
[..]
Pelosi reviewed Byrd’s three terms in the U.S. House before he joined
the U.S. Senate in 1959. Reid, one of Byrd’s successors as top Senate
Democrat, praised Byrd’s thirst for knowledge, and how he taught him
to also carry a copy of the U.S. Constitution in his pocket.]

You’ve known for a long time that today’s crop of Liberals has little or no respect for the document whose principles their representatives in Congress take an Oath to uphold.
In line with Barry’s expressed dyspepsia over the Constitution’s litany of “negative liberties” (where the Constitution specifically limits the power of the federal government over the individual, especially in the Bill of Rights) all kinds of Progressives consider that antiquated old document simply out of date with today’s views on the human condition.
The notion of enduring principles (ones that transcend the fact of television or the invention of the internet or arguments about a whole host of social issues) simply escapes these modern morons, many of them almost as dumb as Ezra “the small” Klein.
Unfortunately, Supreme Court justice Stephen Breyer and the 3 other Liberals on the court (like the Wise Latina) seem to feel similarly about the Constitution and consider that the stuff between their own ears and European ideas are far more enlightened than the thinking and profound knowledge of those crusty old Founders.
