Fail. Obama Promised 5 Million Jobs in Campaign Gas Ad… Now Gas Prices Are Up 55% & He’s the Worst Jobs President Since Great Depression

Another broken promise.
Barack Obama attacked the oil industry and promised 5 million new energy jobs in his campaign gas ad.

Now, 24 months into his term, gas prices are up 55%.
Government-funded solar companies are moving to China.

And 4.4 million people lost their jobs in 2009. That’s the most job losses in a year since 1940.

    I am not sure if you understand how science extrapolates to finance, but the NEwtonian principle of inertia applies to economic constructs. That is, it takes TIME for a system to become corrected, and MR. Obama inherited an economic system that represents an almost irresistable force. He needs more months to fashion a viable counterforce. I believe you amateur economists doth protest too much.

    He would have been wrong to insinuate in speeches that he could undo the terrible “done”–the refuse/detritus wrought of Mr. Bush; however, he still needs and deserves patience, inasmuch as it took several efforts before Heracles could clean the STygian foulness in the Greek mythology that is now represented by Mr. Bush’s seemingly irremediable, sulfur-soaked policies.

    In short, I respectfully disagree.

    When gas when up drastically the second haf of “Oil Man Bush’s” second term, it was arguably because Obama’s friends in OPEC wanted Obama to become president, and so they inflated the price of oil for over a year, to give Obama and the Dems an issue on which to run.

    You’ll see a comparable rise soon, though. Don’t you worry your empty little head. We’ll see the price go up over $4, for sure, within a year or so.
