Ex-Clinton Strategist Mark Penn: Obama Needs Event ‘Similar’ to OKC to ‘Reconnect’ With Voters (Video)

Appearing on television in November, former Hillary Clinton campaign adviser and current public relations executive, Mark Penn, suggested that President Obama needs a moment “similar” to the tragic terrorist attack on the Oklahoma City federal building, in order to “reconnect” with voters.
He didn’t even seem to flinch in making the comment.

Penn is currently president and CEO of Burson-Marsteller, a multi-national public relations firm. He also served in 2008 as chief strategist for then-Senator Hillary Clinton’s run for the White House. Before that, Penn advised former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in his third run for the UK leadership post, and served clients such as AT&T, Texaco, Ford, Merck, Verizon, BP, McDonald’s and Microsoft.

Does anyone else feel this? It’s just an instinct or observation of mine.
Has anyone else noticed all of the shootings and killings related to Washington. John Wheeler, the murder of Judge Roll(who I hear was getting ready to issue a ruling against the Obama regime, coincidence?) Congresswoman Giffords, the young lobbyist who’s burnt body was found in her car a day or two ago. Then in the past the man who breached Obama’s passport file shot execution style, Sarah Palin’s church being set on fire, three members from Obama’s church? Just an observation. I’m starting to wonder if the guy is a hired killer. This was the third death of people related to the Federal Government in days, not to mention the supposed bombs being sent to government agencies in Washington and MD. One that supposedly went to Napolitano? Are they staged events? Maybe someone needs to be looking into it? That’s if we have anyone on the right side of the law anymore in this country. 
About this sheriff also. I’ve never seen a supposed law enforcement officer go on tv and spew political talking points in a crime before. Isn’t he the one typically working with the FBI and others to solve the crime? How does he have time to do this. He is talking just like the leftist old media. I listened to Mark Levin last night and he was talking about this. There was also a caller who said he reminds him of Mike Nifong. the rogue prosecutor from the Duke University case. Something about all of this, like everything tied to Obama just doesn’t pass the smell test. But then again I trust nothing coming from this crime syndicate calling itself the Federal Government these days. Obama is looking more and more like the despotic Kenyan I think he is everyday.

Can I ask why you are sure of this? There is part of me that wants to think, NO! But then the other part of me says, Jim Jones got 900 people to take their own life drinking kool aid laced with cyanide. When Les Kinsolving from WND tried to alert the authorities they mocked him, including the Washington Post. It wasn’t until the dead Congressman Leo Ryan took him seriously and went down there and was killed, did people realize the truth. Hitler killed 900 million jews, and people in Germany initially refused to believe he was doing it. When Stalin died people were crying, I saw the old video. We have serial killers all over the world. What is so special about America that we couldn’t have one of our own? I’m not saying it is true, but does it hurt to check? I’m not above eating crow, but I’d rather see facts. These are way too curious to dismiss. I was just listening to Rush also. He mentioned this Mark McKinnon(not sure if I spelled it right) saying in the fall, Barack Obama needed another OK City to pump up his ratings? Voila? Obama wanted to push Cap and Trade, what happens,Gulf Oil Disaster. Who does it help, George Soros and the company he’s invested in Petrobras. Let’s face it George Soros learned his trade from the master, Hitler. Is it out of the realm of possibilities that these could be Reichstag moments?
Sometimes what is staring you right in the face is what you dismiss. I’m going to fax it to the FBI in Tucson. If they don’t want to take it seriously that’s up to them. After 9/11, I wouldn’t dismiss anything if I were them. It never hurts anyone to look at it, only the people responsible maybe. I try to think of what would help me if I were in law enforcement. I would want people to send me tips. Sometimes those that seem so unimaginable to normal mentally balanced people are the ones that are true. You just couldn’t imagine anyone doing it because you could never do it. I would rather be wrong and have it checked out, then never look at it at all.

I’d suggest reading Thomas Sowell’s excellent explanation “The Vision of the Anointed”. It won’t calm you down, but it exposes the roots of what is going on.
In fact, Penn illustrates a key difference between conservatives and guys like Penn. Conservatives accept and analyze evidence about what works and doesn’t work. Penn is only seeking to assert his “vision” . . . which means he does backflips to ignore anything and everything – including simple morality – if it does not support his point of view . . . which leads right back to Dr. Sowell.

Putting that little damien omen boy at the podium during Ted Kennedy’s Funeral worked so well to leverage tear power into the passage of Obamacare . Exploiting death works so much better when a child is involved . That is what makes this Tuscon assassination so special . After seeing planes fly into buildings and a farm in Pennsylvania killing thousands of people I don’t dismiss anything. Considering who Barack Obama’s friends are, this is a possibility any honest law enforcement officer should look at. Let me just say this. I lived through the bombing here in my great city. I was appalled at how Waco was handled. And I was appalled that Timothy McVeigh used it to justify killing and maming people in Oklahoma City. But what I find reprehensible is that someone in the media could justify it and use it as a moment to make a President look good on the national stage. As if THIS President were the only one that can bring us together for a defining moment that in essence would make HIM look better for it politically. It is the most disgusting and irresposible thing I have ever heard of. And I truly question that persons mental capacity. It is not just a story that you can write words to and sit around a table with colleagues and discuss. This moment has affected REAL PEOPLE FOREVER. Lives were lost and families torn apart. It isn’t a movie script that you critique with your peers to fawn over the next day with. It is sickening for those people to think this kind of thought can become the norm. So, in addition to burning American flags and laughing about abortions, among other things, Loughner believes that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are “war crimes,” 9/11 was an “inside job,” and dislikes Christianity and religion. He doesn’t really sound like a conservative supporter of the Tea Party and Sarah Palin, does he?
The thing that aggravates me is that we really don’t have a choice but to attempt to rebut the ridiculously inaccurate and unfair narrative being put forth by the Left and their allies in the mainstream media. Maybe Mr. Penn needs a refresher concerning the immense pain the OKC bombing caused before he cavalierly suggests we need another similar event just to boost his master’s poll numbers. One of my wife’s cousins was an OKC policeman at the time. He was near enough to feel the blast in his office. As soon as he arrived on the scene, still hazardous with smoke pouring out and debris falling, he immediately entered the rubble that had been the daycare center and spent the entire day carrying the mangled bodies of babies, infants, and children out of it. The remains of his neighbor, who had worked on the top floor, were removed from the rubble of the basement on the final day of recovery. The heroic efforts of many others are documented, and not one of them ever went into that death trap at risk of their own lives hoping to “boost any politician’s poll numbers.”
I even have a page on my website dedicated to these heroes and to the victims. Some of the photos are breathtaking. Incidentally, April 19 was my mother’s birthday.
