ENOUGH OF THE APPALLING JACKASSERY… Sheriff Dupnik Must Resign (Updated)

Since he first opened his mouth on Saturday night to address the nation about the terrible shootings at a Tucson Safeway, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik has been inaccurate, deceptive, and completely biased in his handling of the case.
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik must resign.
Never have we witnessed a prominent public figure so inaccurately and viciously politicize a national tragedy like Sheriff Dupnik did this week. And in all of his statements he has either been wrong or misdirected. This bitter partisan must go.
It’s been more than three days now since the horrible tragedy in Tucson on Saturday.
Within hours after the news broke that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords had been shot and Judge John M. Roll had been killed the left was already plotting to blame the tea partyfor the slaughter. Sheriff Dupnik led the charge.
On Saturday night Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik came in front of cameras and gave one of the most disgusting, dishonorable speeches in the history of this great nation.
**Sheriff Dupnik told reporters that shooter Jared Loughner may not have acted alone. It was a group effort. There were others involved.
“We have photos.”
Sheriff Dupnik was wrong. Loughner acted alone.
**Sherriff Dupnik told reporters that the killer Jared Lee Loughner had made similar threats in the past.
Then yesterday the sheriff backtracked. He said there were no previous threats before the shooting.
**Sheriff Dupnik blamed the “prejudice and bigotry” in Arizona for the killing.
He was completely off on this.
The more we learn about the shooter the more we understand that he was a violent schizophrenic. He was insane and had a history of strange behavior.
**Worse yet, Dupnik blamed American conservatives for the violent crime of a madman.
When confronted on his absurd comments he doubled-down and blamed Rush Limbaugh by name.
The shooter was an anti-war, anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, left-wing, pro-Marx, antiflag, “quite liberal” lunatic. It’s clear today that Jared Loughner had no connection with the conservative tea party movement or any conservative.
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik was wrong on every talking point in his politicized speech to the nation on Saturday night.
Sheriff Dupnik should be ashamed of himself.
Sheriff Dupnik should resign.

They said on Fox News today that this guy, as an AZ public official is giving this lunatic shooter an official out for his behavior. Blame the TEA Party! Blame Rush Limbaugh.
What he is not saying is that his deputies picked this guy up several times, had him in custody, and did not get a psych exam, did not take him to the local hospital, and did not follow up by investigating his potential for violence. I also heard that he failed to report the arrests to AFT, which would have flagged his gun purchase.
This sheriff needs to be arrested as complicit in these shootings for his criminal failings to do his job. HE is the person most responsible. He is the only one who had hands on, and adequate warning, and adequate opportunity, and the authority to do something. He is the one who should be looking in the mirror and pointing the blame at the person who had a chance to stop this before it happened.

The Sherriff’s got a bit of a glass house problem. It looks as though there were more than one encounters between the maniac and the Sherriff’s department, yet nothing was done. Now of course, there is a latent sympathy among us all for the, ‘S**t happens’ reality. Maybe the cops could have done more, but in the end, who can truly predict what a psychotic could do at any given time?
Well, it seems that Sherriff Dupnik can! He seems to know exactly what motivated this nutcase, why he did what he did, etc etc. He appears to hold brilliant insight into this matter. Yet his own department did nothing to stop it, despite numerous opportunities.
A thorough, prostrate level investigation of him, perhaps? Why not? Dupnik has done everything possible to blow any sympathy toward the difficulty of dealing with this situation, as it existed before and after the shooting, completely out of the water with probably over half the population of Arizona. Any consideration of “nuance”, or understanding the “gray areas” of this case can be safely discarded. The sherriff shows not the slightest hint of it, why should the people he has viciously, callously, and unprofessionally chosen to target be any different?
Push back, push back, push back, push back. As relentlessly as the left has for decades. And do so without hesititation.

Jared Loughner is not insane, & people need to stop saying that. This was planned-they have proof-insane people do not plan & execute that plan. An insanity defense which these talking pundits & even Americans are providing for this criminal means a few years in a nut house, then he will be pronounced cured & released. It seemed like an eternity from the time he was taken into custody to the time his name was released. What transpired in that time? I have to wonder if this sheriff isn’t trying to cover up his own imcompetence and complicity. Supposedly, the guy(m Loughner) had a history of despicable acts, was well known to the sheriff and had had been visited several times by the sheriff’s officers. If this sheriff has the capacity to make conclusions about causation without evidence, shouldn’t he have been omniscient enough to know that the kid needed help and was seriously ill and a danger to anyone who happened to displease him? Maybe the fact tha the kid’s mother worked for the Board of Supervisors( birds of a feather?) had something to do with the whitewashing of this tragedy. WhaTever the case, more investigation is needed and NOT by this sheriff. Blaming vague and illogical targets to explain what has turned out to be a psychosis is NOT the way to go. It only makes this sheriff look like a damn fool idiot, and keeps the rhetoric going.

I saw a video where Jared’s parents were getting in their car to leave. The mother was being helped by the drunk/abusive father into their car! The mother had a hood over her head and face. The father was skinny and with white or gray hair! The father ? is a stay at home dad! hahahahahaaha

The sheriff blames Rush Limbaugh for misleading people with false or partial information; isn’t that exactly what he did here? He had a PERSONAL belief that he used this incident and his office to foist upon the American stage without the least bit of evidence that the two were connected. Now we know the suspect is, according to his best friends, “a-political.” What’s more, the sheriff openly said he thought the suspect is manually ill. Such comments carry with them an alibi for the suspect and a defense for his attorney. The sheriff acted like a first year rookie. He should go down the road. He has clearly jeopardized this investigation and misled the American people. He is an embarrassment to the badge.

ALL the signs of a raging mental illness were evident, but they were the ones most capable of having Jared committed for treatment.

I’m glad it’s being uncovered that he & his dept. are more than responsible. They and MANY CONTACTS with the crazed shooter and at best dropped the ball, and at worse, covered up for him. He should be fired and prosecuted himself, and all the victims and/or their families should SUE HIM and his dept.

I dont know…but the perps features look an awful lot like Sheriff Dumbnik and Dumnik I believe said he knows the parents. There just might be a DNA MATCH THERE. I also read his mother works for the Parks Dept which apparently reports to the Sheriffs Dept. His Dad, it has been reported, was a high level Child Protective SVC manager. Will be interesting if we can actulally see the parents. But I think Dumbnik is doing his darnest to keep them in protective custody. I am anxious to see a pic of Daddy. It has been 4 or 5 days now …there must be a picture of these parents somewhere.

And while he is investigating, maybe he should explain how many times his department came in contact with the suspect and for what and why wasn’t the Congresswoman provided some local protection!? In my career I was in Law Enforcement in two states, and have taught Criminal in two states as well. I watched the “vote whore” make a fool of himself on national news after the shooting. Watch Fox…I saw the father putting the mother …with her head and face covered with a hood in the car. Fox said the man putting her in the car was the father. He was skinny with white or gray hair! The mother appeared small in body frame also.
Some one in Pina county go to their web site and pull up the department she works because they usually have pictures of their employees. Ours does!

If you look at his initial press conference after the shooting, he said more than once that there were five dead. Finally someone behind him corrected him. Way do I feel that this man was directed by someone he knew well, in that county, to go after this congresswoman and they are now using this story for their gain or setting the stage for something. Speculation here, but could Dupick be running an illegal alien snuggling operation and/or a major drug smuggling operation? Seems to point that way. Why else would anyone be so upset that this occurred? Could be that he really didn’t want the Feds poking around in the county to gather info on the nut case. If they stumbled on his illegal activities, Dupick could be headed to Ft Leavenworth. That also could be the reason that he was so virulent against the Arizona immigration law. As a former law enforcement officer I have to wonder why Dupnik did not even have ONE deputy assigned to this event. Even Barney Fife would have suggested to Andy that he be in the area to control traffic if nothing else. I’m sure that every deputy in his county was not on some other more important assignment. This isn’t the first time that Sheriff Dopenick has stuck his foot in his mouth here in Pima County…….but it’s the first time this week!!! Overlook if you will the fact that he’s all for opening the borders, and that his own Sheriff’s Department would LOVE to see him leave. Forget the issue that he’s already indicated that he and he alone will decide which laws to uphold and enforce. Problem is we can’t vote this guy out, because there’s TONS of people down here with drivers licenses that aren’t here legally. Once they have a drivers license they can register to vote……..AND unfortunately there’s a high concentration of illegals living in Tucson, that Dupnik has indicated he won’t assist the border patrol or even ask a persons citizenship.
