Commie Chomsky: The Republican Takeover of Congress Is “Death Knell of the Species”

Hugo Chavez favorite Noam Chomsky says the Republican takeover of Congress is the “death knell of the species.”
Oh brother.
The Daily Caller reported:

He explained those feelings led to November’s election results, and would have serious repercussions for civilization.

“All of this combines the latest election a couple of days ago,” he continued. “You could almost interpret it a kind of a death knell for the species. There was an article in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, you know – not a radical rag exactly. They’re running through the new Republicans coming to Congress and they’re worried about them.”

Many years ago, when Chomsky was in his Manufacturing Consent prime – so to speak – some lefty friends urged me to read him. Brilliant, they said. A genius, they claimed.

Maybe if I had been a college sophomore, his target demographic, I would not have seen through the tricks, evasions, and rampant dishonesty. But any experienced reader wouldn’t give him bookshelf space. He writes clearly, which is a rarity among left-wing academics, but what he writes is immature uninformed rubbish.

Like Cornel West, his prestige exists entirely within the far left Marxist bubble, and doesn’t travel well into the land of non-believers.
