The American Renaissance hate group denied knowing Jared Loughner. The founder of AmRen said they looked at their books and have not record of the Tucson shooter attending any events or being a member of the organization. They don’t know where DHS got their “sloppy” information.
Mr. Jared Taylor, the founder of AmRen, told FOX News:

“I had never heard of Loughner until yesterday. That is complete nonsense. I have absolutely no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term “ZOG”. We have never thought in those terms… If this is the level of research we are getting from DHS then heaven help us.”

James Rosen at FOX News reported.

Who to believe? A hate group or Obama’s politicized DHS?

UPDATE: Of course, now we know that Democrats plotted to blame the tea party for the slaughter. That may explain why we have DHS going after a hate group that just happens to have Gadsden Flags ads on their website… And the media trying to link the pro-Marx lunatic to the tea party.

  1. Prudence? Or fear?

  2. Ironically, AmRen was the victim of a hate crime, when leftist extremists almost shut down its conference last year in D.C. DHS is supposed to be investigating that — I wonder how that’s coming along?

  3. BTW, Jim, AR is not an organization, it’s a publication. If the suspect was a subscriber or attended a conference, then that would be easy to tell. (He did neither, as it turns out.) Now, he could have posted to AR’s forums, but as heavily moderated as those are, nothing he could write would probably ever be posted, for the sake of bad grammar and incoherence, if nothing else.

  4. “[This event] makes you worry about a free and open government.” – Juan Williams

Well there you have it folks. Nice job Fox, fattening this commie’s wallet.

  5. mmmmmmmmmmmmm Guess it’s then. time to blame it on Gorebull Warming and pass the cap and tax bill for Gabby (even though she was probably against it being a blue dog democrat that the communist oppressors hate hate hate) OK AP NBC CBS NYT ABC have at it.

  6. The premise MUST be that whoever Ms. Gifford is and whatever she is, the ASSASSIN who shot her and the other victims, must be brought to JUSTICE and EXECUTED.

    As far as Ms. Gifford…

    Her mother is not Jewish.

She did not CONVERT according to Jewish Law.

    HENCE, she is NOT Jewish.

She may be a RIGHTEOUS GENTILE, but certainly NOT Jewish… Unless we let everything and everyone decide who is Jewish or not except Jewish Law and Tradition of 3,000 years.

It would be like letting a microbiologist decide how to better perform orthopedic surgery, a mechanic decide how to run a biology experiment, a painter deciding how to graft a plant rather than a botanist.

NO ONE who has ever learnt Jewish Law as taught in academies where Jewish Law has always been taught, would ever say that she is Jewish.

Then, of course, you can always find rabbits who call themselves rabbis…

  7. Jim: Just got off the phone with several contacts. If this suspect has any links with AR, it’s probably for the polar opposite reason — Because he was part if the leftist good milieu that almost ruined the last AR conference, or he’s part of the one that wants to try it again for the next AR conference, which is next month. But that’s all speculation that this point. If that’s not the case, then DHS was just making stuff up, in which case they might well be on the defending end of a civil rights lawsuit.

  8. american tass is just doing their job. in marxism everything you do has to advance the cause. they are are not interested in finding out the truth only advancing their political agenda. keep speaking out againist them.

  9. I wouldn’t classify them as a hate group. Racist, yes. Hatred of other races? Just browsing through their website, I don’t see anything like that. The Southern Poverty Center seems quite right in their assessment of that website. They’re basically high class white prider types. I don’t see anyone calling other ethnic pride organizations “hate groups”.

  10. Janet Napolitano AKA Ernst Rohm the 3rd is working overtime to pound this square peg into a round hole. They are desparate to attach this assasin to some kind of fringe white race hate group they can associate with the tea party. If this guy did belong to any such group, he was in there as an FBI stool pigeon monitoring the “hate group” for the Southern Poverty Law Center.

  11. Who to believe? A hate group or Obama’s politicized DHS?

    Which hate group to believe?

There. Now it’s not so repetitious.

  12. 11: Stool pidgeon? You’d think the Feds would find someone a little more mentally stable to do that sort of work. And Fed stool pidgeons are usually people who are/were charged/arrested for some Federal crime, and the Feds hold that sword of damocles above their heads. This suspect only had a wiped-away state misdemeanor on his rap sheet.

  13. I strongly disagree with the assertion that American Renaissance is a hate group. Only that it is intolerant of intolerance. At times it does paint race and ethnic issues with a broad brush, but when I have visited the site I have never read any of their literature which would hint at any advocacy of violence at any time.

  14. 11: One more thing — The Feds will only insert stool pidegons in places and groups where there is a fair chance for actual terrorist plots to be found, or ones where the pidegon might be able to stir such a plot up, with guillible membership. The Feds won’t waste their time with AR in that stead, because there’s no chance of that happening.

    AR’s official response

  16. Upon what idiot’s authority do we understand AmRen to be a hate group?? SPLC???
Go there with an open mind and see for yourself- really

  17. AmRen is not a “hate” group. It is one of a few sites that is a bit less heavy handed in the PC department, although there are quite a few words/terms/comments they will censor. Your casually tossing around the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (a far-left partisan money-maker masquerading as a civil rights monitoring site) term is far too typical these days of mainstream Republican thinking – one more reason I’m a conservative, not a Republican. Get off your high horse and stop parroting the left’s terminology; they have set the terms of debate and you merely perpetuate that, while calling yourself conservative. Let’s have a little intellectual honesty here for a change.

  18. From the archive at AR regarding Jews:

    http://www.amren.com/mtnews/archives/2006/04/jews_and_americ.php

Now they say they had never heard of the shooter, and in all fairness I believe them.

  19. Being against integration – in America – is fairly hateful. AmRen is just a “moderate” front for White Nationalists, who are seditious traitors that actively support Al-Qaeda, leftist groups (they were used to fill out Cindy Sheehan’s protests) and anything anti-American.

Jim Hoft is right to characterizes them as unseemly, and defending them makes everyone on the right look bad.

  20. Fox news lied and has “revisited” the issue on their web site. The info did not come from Homeland Security but rather now a “police source”. AmRen is not a hate group, nor seditious traitors who support Al-Qaeda. You need to get the facts before posting such nonsense.

  21. Rob Taylor # 20 describes AmRen as “hateful” and anyone with an opinion of which he does not approve “seditious traitors.” Oh, but of course, self-described conservatives such as Mr. Taylor are the tolerant ones, for open discourse, in opposition to the left’s iron-handed PC code. Mr. Taylor, have you ever read an AmRen post? These are merely excerpts from a wide variety of news sources, open to a wide variety of comments from readers. Some you will definitely consider hateful, others leftist, and most merely thoughtful and freely-expressed opinions. I realize that the first amendment terrifies most left liberals and right liberals (such as yourself), but there really is nowhere in the Constitution that specifies the right not to be offended. Get over yourself and consider exactly what you espouse before you accuse others of being anti-American.

  22. @#20 – you sir are a fool. Since when is being prideful in a race a hate group? AmRen is a patriotic, anti-integration organisation. Jared Taylor rightly states that diversity has gotten the world no where. Every where you look there is hatred and race tension as races and cultures just don’t mix. If the trend continues America will soon look like Brazil. I hope you have enough money for your gated communities to keep the poor and destitute gangs out one day.
