Obama’s anti-capitalist Marxist apologist spiritual guide Jim Wallis attacked FOX News, Glenn Beck and the United States in a speech recently in Great Britain.
“Consumerism is a drug for an unjust society. It numbs our minds. It quiets our conscience. It distracts our minds. It is a drug.”
The Blaze reported:
This actually was a bit tame from what we are used to hearing from this idiot Marxist.
At least he wasn’t screaming “G-ddam America.”

What an ODD quote. “Consumerism is a drug for an unjust society. It numbs our minds. It quiets our conscience. It distracts our minds. It is a drug.” A real de ja vu from Karl Marx’s famous critique of religion as being the opium of the masses. Its an ironic de ja vu too that this comes from an imposter preacher of God. He has just proven Glenn Beck 100% correct in everthing he has said about Wallis being hard core communist.
GrayRider commented:
Aren’t all Marxists on drugs? Maybe not. I suppose their all just suffering from severe mental disorders that makes them appear they are on drugs.

If it wasn’t for Fox News what would these piss ants complain about?
Honestly, it’s cable news.
Consumerism?
It seems to me that the group most guilty of conspicuous consumption is the left. Do these people not own a mirror?

I have a fitting joke from old Eastern Germany.
A kid asks his father: Why is the Trabant 601 (a car) called Trabant 601?
To which the father replies: Because 600 people ordered it and only one got it.
Keep this bugger in the UK, he fits into the country of United Kommunists.
NeoKong commented:
I like the way he makes all these ridiculous statements that he attributes to Fox News and then he rails against them.

May I suggest that anyone truly interested in this issue read “Money, Greed and God” by Jay Roberts. It’s an excellent book and Wallis is repeatedly used as a teaching tool. (You can read that last word both ways.)

Christians need to articulate a powerful response to Wallis’ Marxist view of the teachings of Jesus. Much of this hinges on how Wallis and his ilk view Matthew 25 and what Jesus meant by the “least of these”. Liberals take this to many anyone, thus justifying their redistribution of wealth in the name of helping the “least of these”. But it seems that Jesus was referring to those who follow Him, namely, His disciples.

This being the case, the irony is that the views espoused by Wallis will actually lead to the persecution of “the least of these”, Christians who remain faithful to the teachings of Jesus. We need to understand that theology is playing a crucial role in our current debates over the size of government and issues like abortion and the normalization of homosexuality. Liberals want to destroy the Church so their all powerful State becomes a new god. And making the Gospel of Jesus about economic salvation is the way they plan to do this.

Were he in sack cloth and ashes he might have some credibility. As a so called moral guide to his majesty King Barack I’ll bet he does pretty well for himself. In fact he is close to down right corpulent.

He says exactly what Barack Hussein Obama is practicing. Has this man given up all of his money? How is he making money? Does he practice consumerism? GO TO HELL BASTARD, AND TAKE HUSSEIN AND SOROS WITH YOU, TO MEET UP WITH HIS MENTOR, HITLER!

Gee, I wonder if Obama and his spiritual advisor’s views are good for capitalism. No wonder the economy sucks. There just isn’t enough “white folk’s greed” to keep the economy running.
mmc commented:
After you rid the US of capitalism just where the heck do you think you will get $$ for your social programs and all of this wealth re-distribution ??? The US is the MOST generous country by far !!!!

every day he is a communist, marxist, socialist, nazi. thats because they are all the same. marxism, communism, nazism are all totalitarian political ideologies. socialism is their economic philosophy. while a socialist may not be a communist or marxist or a nazi all of them are socialists. socialism is the most unjust economic philosophy. to take from those that work to give to those that don’t to buy their vote(which is the essence of the totalitarian political ideologies) is the height of injustice. “to share according to your needs” may sound good but it means if you want more you have to make yourself worse off. which can explain the conditions of every inner city in america. what the liberal and the socialist tell poor people is you have our help as long as you stay poor.

the dems are handing out that takes once motivated people and turns them into helpless slugs. i’ve dealt with people who [when they didn't have to work] kept talking about how they weren’t like the others and couldn’t wait to work. when they were at the point of actually having to work they had a million reasons why they couldn’t…when jobs are available they aren’t and when jobs are scarce all they can talk about is how much they really want to work.

As a Christian who tries very hard to live worthy of the identification, I am deeply offended by people who use Christianity to push an agenda that has nothing to do with Christianity. Christianity and Communism have nothing in common. Neither does Socialism or Nazism. I find this person to be extremely offensive to me.

He’s totally freakin right, specially bout fox news, all it is is a news channel made by republicans for growing republicans. Where they just feed you lies only letting you here what they want you to.

My neighborhood stationer has a little sign telling customers how much they help the community by buying things at that store. Consumerism keeps our fellow humans gainfully employed. What’s so bad about that?
