“Moderate” Imam Who Preaches Non-Violence Beats Wife to Bloody Pulp While Screaming Quotes From Koran

Moderate Sheikh Abu Adam is alleged to have shouted a verse from the Koran at his wife as he beat her – breaking her nose and shoulder.
The Daily Mail reported:
A Muslim imam who lectures on non-violence and advises the German government on interfaith issues has been arrested in Germany for beating up his wife.
Sheikh Abu Adam, 40, is now on remand in Munich while his wife, 31, is being guarded by police. She was allegedly assaulted so badly that she suffered a broken nose and shoulder and numerous cuts and bruises.
Media reports claimed the woman, who has borne one of his ten children, wanted to live a more ‘western’ lifestyle and was allegedly attacked after telling her husband.
The police said they received a call from a lawyer hired by the victim.
Adam is alleged to have shouted a verse from the Koran at his wife as he beat her.
The line said: ‘Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them.
At least he didn’t behead her.

Mohammed took a pre-islamic moon-deity, named it Allah, then invented some of his own stuff and simply copied what he liked from the bible and from Jewish writings, in order to get the Jews and Christians to follow him.
The Jews, however, told him to sod off.
That made Mohammed angry and as reaction to the “evil Joooooooos”(tm) who refused to follow him he started killing them.
Also correct on #2. A mohammedan man can beat his wife, as long as he doesn’t turn her face into a swollen mass or leaves visible marks on her. He can also kill his daughter, should she “dishonor” him and his family and he can rape any woman who dresses “improperly” and might even get away without punishment, because the woman, the victim of such an assault, has to produce four male witnesses who confirm that she was raped.
Those, dear Sandy, are some of the mohammedan laws.
Basically, if you’re an “infidel” (aka non-mohammedan) or a woman under islamic law (aka sharia law) you’re pretty much screwed.

Had this happened in Canada and the country had gone through with its program to allow Sharia law in domestic disputes, Sheikh Abu Adam would go scot free. Sharia and the Kuran both permit wife beating.
Fortunately Canada baked away from such inane multiculturalism, not because of legal inconsistencies, but largely because it premitted wife beating.

Sandy at #15 made a huge mistake in calling the Quran a “mid-Evil Bible.” However, what I read in the second part is Sandy saying that when their Quran and their prophet MooHamHead (piss be upon him) instruct them to break the laws of the nations in which they live, they should be tried under the nations’ laws just the same. Good to see he was arrested. I hope she divorces him and is compensated. However, without any emotional/financial support she will probably end up going back to him. It would be fantastic if there was some type of counseling for this woman. Let her know that there are other opportunities for her in this world. Too bad we don’t have half-way houses for muslim women. No one can be truly happy living as a slave. Once they are away from the muslim dominated countries, these women may start to break away from their husbands/owners and build new lives. That is one way to start breaking the stranglehold of their religion. Emancipate their women. Allow them the freedom to wear comfortable clothes, earn money and talk to men without being beaten. These women have no concept of what it is like to be free.

Two points:
1. In defense of Sandy who used the phrase, “Mid-evil bible beliefs,” it would not be inaccurate to call their religious book/s a sort of “mid-evil bible” as a play on the words “Medieval Bible.” The word bible was probably derived from the Greek “biblia” meaning “little books.” Biblia most likely derives from “biblos” which is how the Greeks referred to papyrus. The term bible is often used to refer to a comprehensive reference or compilation. I have in my own library a book called, “The Blacksmith’s Bible” which is a compilation of smithing techniques. Whether or not Sandy intended a play on words, I feel it is nit-picking to harp on linguistics when her meaning still came shining through.
2. Those who think believers in Islam should go back to their own countries to practice their religion apart, are you considering what that means to the women? Do the Islamic wives and daughters deserve to be sent back into a country where there is no escape from the beatings and beheadings? I believe to deny the women a chance of obtaining asylum would be exceedingly cruel.
