FCC Democrats Seize Control of Internet- Pass Net Neutrality

Today the three democrats on the FCC passed their net neutrality law.
It will likely face a court challenge.
Reuters reported:
U.S. communications regulators adopted Internet traffic rules on Tuesday that prevent providers from blocking lawful content but still let them ration access to their networks.
The Federal Communications Commission approved the “Open Internet” order after FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski’s plan got the support of fellow Democrats Michael Copps and Mignon Clyburn.
The rules aim to strike a balance between the interests of Internet service providers, content companies and consumers, but some industry analysts think a court challenge is still likely.
At issue is whether regulators need to guarantee that all stakeholders continue to have reasonable access to the Internet, a principle often called “net neutrality,” or whether the Internet is best left to flourish unregulated.
The FCC’s ability to regulate the Internet has been in doubt since an appeals court in April said the agency lacked the authority to stop cable company Comcast Corp from blocking bandwidth-hogging applications.
Senior FCC officials have said they will invoke new legal arguments not employed in the Comcast case.
The two Republican commissioners at the agency opposed the latest rule-making effort, saying it was unnecessary and would stifle innovation. Robert McDowell and Meredith Attwell Baker told an FCC open meeting that they believed the rules would fail in court.
There was disagreement on whether the F.C.C. had the legal authority to implement the network neutrality rules, and that authority is certain to face legal challenges in the months ahead

They were told by the court they didn’t have the authority to do this. They were warned by Congress not to do this and do it anyway. We have a president who isn’t eligible, he runs anyway. They let him get away with it. Just like any criminal he will continue to committ crimes until he is stopped.
And to think Republicans will vote for a Treaty negotiated by this usurper? They will be held responsible when the Treaty hurts America. Either certain Republicans are in on this, or they are too stupid to be in Congress.

If the FCC, a non-legislative entity, can make “rules” that are really LAWS, and can GIVE power to the government that it didn’t previously have…then what is to stop any agency from, say, giving the government “power” to do anything at all? The constitution is not being protected.

Eric Holder did an interview with ABC that aired on December 20th.
When talking about homegrown terrorist, and al-Awlaki, and how he utilizes the internet.
At the 2:30 mark of the interview,
ABC Interviewer: “One of the things that struck me is how many of these people have been radicalized online.”
Holder: “The ability to go into your basement, turn on your computer, to find a site that, uhm, that has this kind of hatred spewed. To have an ability to take somebody who is perhaps just interested, who’s just on the edge, to take them over to the other side.”

It’s just a power thing. I don’t even think this new “law” needs to be appealed. Since the Court if Appeals already ruled that the FCC doesn’t have any authority over the Internet, (4/6/2010), Congress will have the authority to limit it’s exercise if power, by diminishing it’s funding.

Govt control over; Healthcare, food safety, financial regulation, climate control, auto companies, banks, insurance companies, NASA, Internet communication, diet and school lunch and school bakeries, home gardens, student loans, home mortgages, light bulbs, windmills, petroleum oil production, recreational fishing industry. Sounds to me like there is a jack&ss running this country.
