TSA AGENT ARRESTED ON SEXUAL ASSAULT & RAPE CHARGES (Video)

This is comforting…
A TSA agent was arrested this year for raping a 14 year-old.
The TSA agent was sending the child text messages.
WHDH reported:
A Transportation Security Administration worker at Logan International Airport is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
Sean Shanahan, 45, of Winthrop is being held on $50,000 cash bail following his arraignment in East Boston District Court. He is charged with statutory rape, enticement of a child and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older.
He has also been ordered not to contact the victim or any minors.
Winthrop Police said this all started when a father contacted them about sexually explicit text messages on his daughter’s cell phone.
Shanahan reportedly began contact with the girl in January.

Despite background checks, what type of training on the radiation scanners? An x-ray technician must be certified to do x-rays; is there a similar certification for TSA agents who work with machines having much higher radiation prospects?

Does the TSA do any backgroud checks prior to hiring these thugs. Hell, our local school districts require police background checks for parent volunteers (and faculty/staff too, of course).

Funny, De’ Ja vous all over again. A couple of years ago while passing thru Logan an individual with remarkably similar features approached an airline stewardess and wanted her to “preform at a party.” The stewardess declined. I was watching this with my two children in disbelief. If this is the same waste as I think it might be, IT’S ABOUT TIME!

What a surprise. This can happen anywhere, anyplace, anytime. Parents need to keep a closer eye on their kids phone when there 14, there are a lot of dirt bags out there and I blame this dirt bag, but what kind of parrent does not spot check his 14 yr old phone and check it when they are sleeping. its like when you put that phone in their hand, its like giving them a invitation. Dont rag on me I am just telling you what you already know, I have 18 year old daughters and I still check their, but the guy is a dirt bag, and I hope they lock the door and throw away the key, he could not find a connsenting adult, he deserves what he gets.

the scanners that people are so excited about give off around 10,000 radio waves…not xrays. Therefore, they dont need to train standard TSA employees on how to use the machine. The pictures are viewed in a sealed room. My take on this…for what its worth, FREE…take it or leave it…I would feel much better sitting down on a plane if a TSA agent felt there was someone posing a risk to a flight I was on.
