In 2008 abortion survivor Gianna Jessen joined Born Alive Truth in a campaign to shine light on Barack Obama’s horrific record on infanticide. Gianna, who had survived as a baby after being aborted, pointed out that–
Obama voted 4 times to support infanticide:

Already, Barack Obama has signed several pieces of abortion legislation including funding foreign abortions. He also signed legislation to use taxpayer money to kill embryos in research. And, democrats passed legislation that will force healthcare providers to perform abortions even if it violates their moral or religious convictions.

Barack Obama is the most radical pro-abortion and infanticide president in the last 35 years. Barack Obama even voted 4 times to support infanticide during his political career.

The Vatican attacked “arrogant” Barack Obama for using taxpayer money to fund foreign abortions.

Last night Sarah Palin told an audience that President Obama is the most pro-abortion president in US history.
Life News reported:

In a speech in Texas last night, former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin said President Barack Obama is the most pro-abortion president in the history of the nation.

In an appearance with pro-life Texas Gov. Rick Perry at a fundraiser for a pro-life group, she described Obama as “the most pro-abortion president to occupy the White House.”

A CNS News report indicates Palin also described the ObamaCare health care reform law as the “mother of all unfunded mandates” that will allow taxpayer funding of abortions.

She also applauded Perry and Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott for supporting a lawsuit seeking to overturn ObamaCare — “Good for them, because we have to fight back against this federal power grab,” Palin said.

Palin, the former governor of Alaska, has become a national conservative phenomenon supporting pro-life candidates across the country in the 2010 elections and continuing to keep her name in the limelight talking about political issues, writing a popular book, and keeping herself and her family in the media eye.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why Obama is losing the Catholic vote?

Related… It looks like Obama is also the most anti-Israeli president too.

  2. I know McCain was a lousy choice, but for anyone, Catholic or not, to have voted for this devil when we all knew his stand on abortion particulary, is shameful. I knew we had idiots in this country, but I never thought there were so many until the last presidential election. Any body who fell for that hopey, dopey, changey crap needs a good floggin’.

  5. Just had a stimulating e-mail conversation with a family member who is SURE that there is no public funding of abortion in the health care plan. I can only assume that they a) don’t know how to look up the facts, b) can’t understand that support by pro-abortion groups never bodes well for the life crowd and c) people lie to get their way. Said family member is not impressed with my exhortation to look at the track record and look at the direction the feet are pointing. They never lie. Maybe they’ll learn – or not.

  8. The though that a CATHOLIC could ever vote for that DEGENERATE makes my blood freeze.

What of kind of Catholicysm is that?

And yes, I’m an agnostic. And yes, even the though that a baby born from a botched abortion should be left to starve and die sends a chilly shudder down my spine.

This is a manisfestation of CULTURE OF DEATH in its most barbaric and inhumane aspect.

Where the CULTURE OF DEATH prevails, there DEATH PANELS must sure exist.

There is no doubt that if Obama would ever manage to hold onto and entrench himself in POWER, he would sooner rather than later force that anti-human legislation on America.

And, of course, the Eurabia and Eunuchalia would follow.

In order to realise how that looks in practice of the life in a communo-fascist entity, one SHOULD read the epic book “Mao The Untold Stroy” by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday.

The biggest question though is: Where is the outrage of the Christian clergy? Why are they so silent, so docile on that issue?

Why is almost entire fight resting on the shoulders of a private citizen and a mother of five children?

This is, after all, for Christian clergy not about breaking the rules and engaging itself in a political activity.

    It is about defending HUMANITY.

Obama, playing the “I am an African dude” has defunded those life-savers and funded ABORTION and CONTRACEPTIVES for Africa.
Michelle Obama plays hopscotch with kids she really thinks should never have been born.

Now, we get the syncophants in the pseudo-sciences declaring eradication of malaria is hopless, so we have to live with it. They don’t them themselves in the “we.”

If malaria was in Los Angeles, the Hollywood glitterati would be screaming for eradication to save their worthless hides, but it’s “for the planet” to let Africans die … just a sleazy form of birth control.

These people are pure evil, they don’t care about human life.

Now, we get the syncophants in the pseudo-sciences declaring eradication of malaria is hopeless, so we have to live with it. They don’t them themselves in the “we.”
    __________

Well I am real scientist – a medical scientist to be prescise and nothing is further from the truth! We HAVE eradicated malaria – right here in the United States of America. If you’ve ever read Little House on the Prairie, you might recall the Ingels all having malaria when they were in Oklahoma territory. Malaria was common throughout North America until the time of the building of the Panama Canal. Work that doctors for the Public Health Service (at that time part of the US Navy) did during the building of the canal led to great strides in controlling malaria – draining swamps, screening windows and so on. Then after WWII the US put a great deal of effort into a combined effort to push control measures while simultaneously praying breeding grounds with DDT.

And then came Silent Spring, which despite any real scientific proof even to this very day of permanent harm caused by DDT, led to the banning of DDT. Unfortunately, there is nothing else that works and nobody had invested money in eradicating malaria in Africa. There is nothing else that eradicates bed bugs and stink bugs either. (Be careful where you sleep in New York City.)

As far as medication goes, since malaria has been largely eliminated from First World countries and there is little or no money to be made developing drugs specifically for use in Third World Countries, there has been no effort put into developing meds for malaria. Until very recently (probably due to the Bush grants) nobody bothered to try.

If 20,000 black babies are killed every year by abortions and Obama supports abortion, can we say Obama supports the killing of black babies?

  19. Dissenters, now calling themselves the American Catholic Council, plan a 2011 conference in Detroit “to create a new Church.”

…..Indeed, the impossibility of separating structure from doctrine is especially evident in the statements made by American Catholic Council endorser Anthony Padovano, a former priest and president emeritus of CORPUS (Corps of Retired Priests United for Service), an advocacy group for married priests. While Padovano is critical of the celibacy requirement for priests, his public dissent goes beyond the priesthood and into doctrinal disagreements over the concept of original sin, the virginal conception of Jesus, the resurrection, women’s ordination, and abortion.

….In 2008, after a visit to an abortion clinic with other members of Catholics for Choice’s European advisory group, Padovano published a “theological reflection” on the need for abortion in Conscience, the Catholics for Choice newsletter. Padovano writes that “there are many ways of being Catholic,” and he maintains that the Church has “for almost all its history and even now had sound theological and moral reasons for accepting abortion at any stage as the lesser of evils.” In his article, Padovano approvingly recalls that “at the [abortion] clinic we visited, some staff and nurses are committed Catholics. They see what they do as a moral choice, in accord with their conscience. They are convinced they bring women healing and hope.”

These people call themselves Catholic. I beg to differ.

  20. I’d just like to say, Sarah’s last name is not polarizing, it is Palin.

Sarah Palin is illuminating and dynamic – Barack Obama is negative, polarizing AND a drag on all productive forces.

  21. This is your friendly, neighborhood pro-choice Liberal just popping in to say that there is a big, big difference between keeping the Federal Government out of heartbreaking family decisions, such as a decision to abort a baby, and having the Government encourage abortions by paying for them.

I agree with the reasoning in the Roe v. Wade decision to insist that the Federal Government have no role in the decision to abort a baby, because if given the power to intervene in any way, the government will eventually end up coercing abortions, as has already happened in China.

If the Federal Government establishes the precedent of funding abortions, what is to stop it from denying payment for medical care for babies with known, detectable defects.

    ……………

You are one cool Granny indeed!

To add also that as you mentioned, the USA eradicated malaria and yellow fever in Panama – a tougher job since that region doesn’t have the mosquito-depressing help of winter freezes, so that excuse of “we can’t really do it” can’t be used for tropical zones.

Yeah, it was infuriating to read that coming out of the BBC and Yahoo last week. It was pure ideology on display, NOT science or medicine, and the advocacy groveling media dutifully put it out without question to mold public opinion to accept this evil.

Promoting an underfunded state of “benign neglect” on malaria is a death sentence for millions of ESPECIALLY Africans every year, and a huge handicapping of human productivity of chronic sufferers. Obama played “I’m one of YOU,” to Africa, then undercuts the two most important initiatives the continent has had to save lives, and jacks funding for contraceptives to reduce the number of African kids. Not money to build schools, no…get rid of them.

The Left ghoulishly wants population control so they cripple medical and health advances for everyone, except themselves, and they themselves want to live forever. Narcissism taken to levels of murderous socio-pathological scheming.

It became grotestque a couple years ago in So. SUdan. A cholera outbreak was killing and debilitating hundreds of people, with thousands at risk, but the international agencies were earmarking money – hundreds of thousands of dollars to send epidemiologists to investigate suspected avian flu in a couple of chickens in the same area.

The So. Sudanese were ticked – that money could have been earmarked for more help to the HUMANS actually suffering from cholera, but the international community was more interested in what they perceived to be a POTENTIAL threat to THEMSELVES… avian flu.

Bazillions were spent on chasing around swine flu, an average flu which fizzled as usual, but we still have malaria and cholera and yellow fever, and dengue … the Democrats sure know how to waste money on worthless.

  23. Regretably, many Catholics are either ignorant about Obama’s radical stance on abortion or are Catholics in name only. Hopefully the ignorant ones will be better educated when they go to the polls in 2012. Obama’s HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, is a Catholic in name only, like many Democrats. While she was Governor of Kansas, late term abortionist Dr. Tiller and Planned Parenthood never had a better friend. So egregiuos was her pro-abortion politicing that the Archbishop of Kansas City, Kansas banned her from receiving communion. The Democrat party is clearly the party of death and not just Catholics but all Christians (followers of Christ) should take that into account when they vote. If they do not, they are moral hypocrits.

  24. Valerie, you mean you are the friendly pro-abortion liberal. You advocate mothers having their babies murdered; the most innocent of us and who lie defenseless in the womb.

  25. Regarding the title of the post:

The United States of America is the most pro-abortion nation in human history.

Could a just and righteous God ignore that, and fail to exact appropriate punishment?

If yes, please explain how and why.

I believe the answer is “no.” I cannot think of a plausible scenario where a God who is just and righteous could ignore a nation, which once was His, which once followed Him — and therefore revered life as sacred — and which then ditched God’s righteousness, and became the world’s biggest abortion mill.

It would be like a just and righteous nation ignoring the slaughter taking place in Auschwitz and Treblinka. It would be like a just and righteous sherrif ignoring the murder taking place in his jurisdiction. It would be like a just and righteous man ignoring the spousal abuse happing in the house next door.

It would render the words “JUST” and “RIGHTEOUS” meaningless.

  26. Sasja
I agree. It’s frustrating that many people did not vote because Mc Cain was a bad candidate. Those people are just as responsible for our decline as the ones that voted for O. I had no idea our country had so many “idiots” either .

  27. I had the opportunity to attend this event. It was wonderful. She gave a touching speech discussing very personal events in her life that have led to her respect for the sanctity of life. It was amazing to get to hear her speak in person. She is an amazing woman.
