This is unbelievable…
A young woman was left in tears after a rough skirt check at an airport.
TSA responded to the complaints saying the search was “appropriate and respectful.”
Yeah. She looks like a terrorist.
A young woman in Michigan was brought to tears after a rough skirt check by a TSA employee.
WZZM reported:
Before boarding a flight in Grand Rapids, a woman says the search at the security checkpoint was violent, unnecessary and extremely upsetting.
“When I got on the plane all I wanted to do was sob,” says traveler Ella Swift.
Swift was one of an increasing number of passengers Transportation Security Administration officers are thoroughly searching by hand. They call it an “enhanced pat-down.”
Swift says they told her she was singled out because she was wearing a skirt. She says the search earlier this month was very rough and left her in tears.
“The female officer ran her hand up the inside of my leg to my groin and she did it so hard and so rough she lifted me off my heels,” she says. “I think I yelped. I was in pain for about an hour afterwards. It just felt excessive and unnecessary.”
After reviewing the incident, a TSA spokesman says officers involved in the Grand Rapids search acted “appropriately and respectfully.”
This is unbelievable. What has happened to our country?

What has happened to our country? It has been hijacked – literally. We have had a silent coup d’etat.
And frankly, I see this as a lose-lose situation. If we force them to get rid of the x-ray machines and the Gate Rape “pat downs” then they are going to insist that we all carry the equivalent of internal passports in order to fly, national ID cards that contain all of our biometric (and perhaps other – like our medical history) data. And if we don’t, then we are essentially allowing the Fourth Amendment to be discarded wholesale with literally no input from the people or our legal, authorized representatives. Remember – there is no law that allows either these xrays or “pat downs”.
dwd commented:
If TSA would announce the things that will trigger these pat-downs, people could dress accordingly. So now ladies know: don’t fly wearing a skirt. Something else might trigger a pat-down, but at least you can avoid the skirt trigger.

What has happened to our country? It’s the new regime!
The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was
actually January 3rd ,2007.
That’s the day the Democrats took over the
House of Representatives and the Senate…the start of the 110th
Congress. The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers
for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.
For those who are propagating the fallacy
that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
At the time:
1. The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
2. The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
3. The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
4. George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!
Remember the day:
1. January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the
House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate
Banking Committee.
2. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of
the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
3. Thank Congress for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6%
Unemployment to this CRISIS by dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic
loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco’s!
(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting
in 2001, because it was financially risky for the U.S. economy…but, no one would listen!!!).
And, who was it who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA.
And, who fought against reforming Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and his Democratic Congress..
So when someone tries to blame Bush… REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007….
The day the Democrats REALLY took over!

Hijacked? Yes. Starting in the Oval Office and now spreading out.
DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano appointed Mohamed Elibiary to her Homeland Security Advisory Council last month. Now the Washington Times suggests in an editorial this morning that he might be behind the TSA’s “hijab exemption”. Who is Mohamed Elibiary? I’ll let the Times explain: (Hat Tip: The Jawa Report–http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/205032.php)

You ask what has happened to our country? Obama is what happened, but he is just the front man for all the foolish and down right unAmerican stuff. Janet Napolitano can’t go to the rest room by her self, but she’s in charge of HLS. We have tax cheats in almost all departments of government, and especially the chairman of the tax policy committee. We have pro homosexual Czars, along with openly communistic Czars. We have people like George Soros dictating what one of our major political parties will and wont do. We have elections being stolen right under our eyes and nothing is done about it. They make sure our Military votes are not counted. All close contested elections go to the Dems without fail. Until those in leadership on our side decide to get serious with the laws that make all this possible, the silliness at the airports will continue. Afraid of being labeled a racist is cowardly. PROFILE ALL PASSENGERS is the answer but that is just not even considered, no it’s even BANNED.
CNL commented:
This is the Obama admin’s way of testing the water. If we allow this there will be more and more invasions into our lives, homes, records. This needs to stop! And a Mohamed at TSA? This whole mess has islamist fingerprints all over it. American women in skirts can be felt up, but “modest” terror supporting “ladies” get a pass? NO WAY!
DINORight commented:
@Granny is 100% correct. The regulations and other non-laws being instigated by the executive branch are what is causing this. We are a borderline police state.
Two more years of this is not going to be livable by Americans. I hope and pray the next Repub-run Congress does some VERY deep, rapid, and aggressive investigations of the Obama Admin – from the czars, heads of the bureaus, up to his and his wife’s staff – with special focus on The One and the FLOTUS – to hamstring this admin. from regulating away all our liberty. This bunch is by far exceeding any and all powers – time to use those “checks and balances” Congress!!! (Aside – time to clean house and impeach some federal judges, too!)
A full agenda for this next Congress – but essential to protect and defend our Constitution and our liberty!
CNL commented:
Seems a hijab should be an instant trigger. We are only in this mess because of certain “peaceful” people who sentence Christians to death, behead infidels, oppress their women and strap bombs to their bodies….I wonder who?
CNL commented:
And in a sane world a meglomaniac like Soros would be committed to a geriatric psych ward, not allowed to manipulate the rest of us. Filthy capo scum

I have written to Southwest Airlines, my primary carrier, that due to the intrusive nature of TSA screening I will only fly in the case of an emergency. If I can’t get to a destination via ground transportation I simply won’t go. Since I am retired, elapsed time is of little importance. I feel sorry for those who must continue to fly in order to make a living.
Writing to TSA will do absolutely no good! Write to your primary carrier(s) – especially if you are a member of a frequent flier program and let your feelings be known.
jainphx commented:
I remember when the dems shouted how awful it was that we listened in on telephone traffic between Asia and America, how it was an infringement on our rights and unconstitutional to boot, and yet our rights are being STOLEN every day by these same critics. Forced pat downs, force to buy insurance, not allowed to smoke in your own house, need I.D. to cash a check but not to vote. The left are masters at misdirection and slight of hand. Slowly we are becoming serfs and slaves, they tell us what we can and can’t eat, and if we insist they make it unlawful. We stood up Nov. 2nd, but not high enough, we are quickly running out of time, and I fear that there is bloodshed ahead. LORD help us.
Illinois Patriot commented:
Remember Obama stipulating that we need a civian force just as powerful and well funded as the US military? It begins here. We’re in a police state. We have trucks running up and down the streets looking into our homes, cameras every where, the government is into every aspect of our lives. THey want to shut down free speech unless it includes dipping a crucifix in urine, burning the American flag, etc. That’s fine. Shut up you peasants, you subjects of the realm! You pay taxes, (unless you are a member of the ruling class e.g. Cholly Rangel) we run the country.

I wonder where our wonderful ACLU is. I guess when their guys are in charge, any amount of bullying is okay!
I predict TSA will have guys with guns at the airport on Opt Out Day. I have to fly that day….ugh.

Yes, Illinois Patriot, the “rules” do not apply to the ideologically pure, the politically correct, and to the peaceful religion that threatens violence and death.

Last weekend I spent 8 hours in a bus to avoid being molested or having my naked body viewed by a TSA employee (who may be a homosexual getting his jollies by feeling me up) or having him take a picture of my genitals with his cell phone. The trip was 4 hours longer (door to door) and $400 cheaper, but I traveled with my self respect intact.
Why can a Government employee commit sexual assault and go unpunished? Because the Government wants to train us to submit to anything they deem appropriate, no matter how degrading it is to us, the sheeple.

[In December 2004, Mr. Elibiary spoke at a conference honoring the life and works of the "great Islamic visionary," Iran's Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. In 2008, Mr. Elibiary denounced the conviction of Hamas-connected members of the Holy Land Foundation for material support of terrorism. Most alarmingly, Mr. Elibiary is an admirer of the work of Sayyid Qutb, the intellectual and spiritual godfather of modern jihadism. Mr. Elibiary argues that Qutb is greatly misunderstood. "Many Westerners who've read Qutb's and many others' work," Mr. Elibiary wrote, "see the potential for a strong spiritual rebirth that's truly ecumenical allowing all faiths practiced in America to enrich us and motivate us to serve God better by serving our fellow man more."]

Look at the “bright” side of this all this TSA-related outrage: more and more people are finding all sorts of reasons that matter to them personally as to why the government is indeed an intrusive, dangerous bully. Some of them may even stop making “Teabagger” jokes when they see their daughter being groped.
The other thing to note: Muslims and reilgiously fundamentalist westerners aren’t the only ones who still have a sense of modesty and propriety. This whole TSA debacle has been an unintended means of highlighting that reality.
Anthony Mator commented:
If a TSA agent handles me so roughly I feel it for the next hour, he’s getting a swift kick to the groin. The next day, I shall send a letter to the TSA announcing that I have conducted an investigation into my behavior and the airport and determined that nothing inappropriate was done.

I am really concerned that common sense with this administration is no where to be seen.
Here is what I would do. First of all I would not allow any luggage into the main terminal area. You would have to leave your luggage with an attendant outside. They would tag said luggage with name and airline and flight number. Then put the luggage on a conveyer belt that leads toward the airport entrance. Have DOGS stationed up and down the conveyer belt sniffing all luggage. You could also have trams like they do in Orlando to transfer people to the airport and put dogs on there also. You could have a nice area for the dogs to play in when they are not working.. It all seems so simple to me, but then not much money would be generated with my common sense idea.

Dear John Pistole and Janet Napolitano,
As leaders, you have issued an unlawful order to your troops. As a veteran, this makes you fully responsible and them responsible for followig it. Those are the rules we have to follow in war zones defending the freedoms you are stripping from our family we have left in our care while we fight this war based on lies.
You have issued an unlawful order, against the US Constitution. You both took the same oath I took to defend the Constitution and have abadoned it and that is an act of treason. Those troops under you following your orders will share your shame when you are prosecuted.
TSA employees do not share the shame. When a soldier follows an unlawful order he is just as responsible as the commander issuing it, and disobeying that unlawful order is your duty
Molesting, groping, improper touching of innocent people is not legal and we cannot do it in War Zones to innocent people, so why are you touching my wife and kids I left in your care? Thank you TSA for demoralizing the troops overseas and violating our families we left in your care.
