Palestinians Claim Western Wall Is Islamic Property & Integral Part of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Palestinian Authority now claims that the Western Wall is Islamic property and an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Via MEMRI:
Palestinian officials have condemned the decision by the Israeli government to renovate the Western Wall plaza.
Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said that the Wall is part of occupied eastern Jerusalem and that its historic, cultural, and religious characteristics must not be changed.
PA Deputy Information Minister Al-Mutawakkil Taha stated in a study he published that the Wall is Islamic Waqf and an integral part of Al-Aqsa mosque, that the Jews have no historical religious ties to it, and that not a single stone or grain of soil from it or from the other holy sites can be relinquished.
Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine Sheikh Muhammad Hussein said that Al-Aqsa mosque belongs to the Muslims alone and that the occupation will not manage to plunder the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem.

If the Isrealis acted like their enemies, those two mosques would have been torn down and replaced with a “victory temple” after the 1967 war. The Palestinians are lucky al Aqsa is still there at all. They participated in a war of annihilation and lost in 1948, not to mention the other attempts to eliminate the Jews including the “intifadas”. When you launch racist annihilationist wars, and you lose, you’re lucky to have anything left. Ask the East Prussians.

Stupid little girl. I lived this history. I left the movement because, even as men and women of good will were rearranging the laws of this country to protect women and children, giving women with children priceless tools to secure their families, what used to be the feminist movement decided to turn to whining about what victims they still were.
Instead of educating women about what they could do with the new rules and laws enacted in the wake of Title VII and Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, Ms. Magazine kept telling women that they were helpless.
That’s when I left the feminist movement.
Sarah Palin is smarter than jealous Michelle Goldberg. Jealous Michelle is too limited in her thinking to recognize reverence for God as distinct from irreverence toward men. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, like Mark Twain, was no real athiest. Both writers had a profound reverence for God, and they despised what stupid people had done to distort our ideas of God.
But then, Jealous Michelle probably never actually read anything written by the authors she quotes.

I thought that a waqf was a Chinese cooking utensil. Wiki had this definition right but it is often wrong or misleading. I find it to be an unreliable source of information. One example I recently found was about the original inventor of the perstaltic pump, there are many others.

So, do you have a personal policy of giving up what belongs to you to anyone who walks by and demands it? “Yo! Give me that laptop!” It’s just a thing.
How come you don’t reserve the same argument for the people who are making these demands? One after another, never enough. How come they NEED that wall for themselves and can’t leave the Israelis alone? It’s JUST stones! They controlled it for a while, knowing it was holy to the Jews, and never let Jews worship there, yet Muslims are allowed by Jews to worship at the mosque. One way street. No equal treatment.
The Arabs are many, the Muslim Arabs and non Arabs are many, they sit on vast oil reserves, flithy rich and Israel is small and populated by few, with no oil.
But still that tiny place is coveted by its greedy neighbors …which is a sin according to God’s laws.

If one is a true Christian, one doesn’t hate Jews or Israel. “Ye know them by their fruits.”

Why do people accept someone who claims “Christian” with less concrete evidence than one would expect of someone who called themselves a “doctor” or an “engineer” or a “plumber?” Like the world around us, every church is made up of 1) a small group of committed CHristians 2) a larger group of nominal CHristians and 3) the rest are happy pagans.
So for 2/3 even MORE of any church, it’s primarily social, not spiritual.
