Sarah Palin is under fire from a far left animal rights group for clubbing a fish to death on her TMZ reality show. They call it a “snuff video.”

The Daily Mail reported:
Sarah Palin is under fire for clubbing a fish to death on her new reality TV show.
The Tea Party darling and her daughter Bristol, 20, were shown on a halibut fishing trip filmed for her new programme, Sarah Palin’s Alaska.
After catching a fish, Sarah is seen beating it with a club and Bristol later holds its still-beating heart in her hand, a sight Sarah called ‘weird’.
A spokesperson for animal rights group In Defense Of Animals told TMZ: ‘Sarah Palin’s complete lack of compassion as demonstrated in this snuff video is disgusting.’
The group adds: ‘Most disturbing is the way she seems to enjoy causing suffering to other beings. When they laugh about the beating heart that Bristol holds in her hand, their complete insensitivity to the animal kingdom becomes clear.’
Personally, any woman who beats fish in the head on national TV has my vote.
We need more conservative women with raw courage like this in politics today.
I, for one, am looking forward to the anti fish-beating ads.

Reality is man is a hunter/farmer and game needs to be subdued and rice needs cutting. Every hobby fisher should know that, before you kill the fish by stabbing into the heart, you should knockout the fish by hitting on the head. It’s less painful then to let the fish just unattended in a bucket or boat or beach etc until it is dead.

Did any of you folks actually WATCH this show? I did, and if you had, you would have heard the captain of the halibut boat tell Sarah and Bristol that their job for the day would be to whack the halibut on the head to knock them out so they wouldn’t flip flop around in the boat and damage their flesh and maybe hurt someone – these are really big fish! Not long after they knock them out (actually more humane than letting them suffocate out of water) the fish are killed and then processed for human consumption.
These ecoweenies who cringe at the thought of killing anything for people to eat ought to stop eating altogether! After all, in order to get any food, you either have to kill an animal, eat their eggs (killing potential little chicks) or rob calves of precious cow’s milk, or in the plant world, either kill a plant or steal its seeds and eat them, thereby interrupting the reproductive cycle of the plant. These idiots need to grow up!
I agree with others here, that the ecoweenies would mourn the loss of life of a halibut more than they would the death of a fetus, even if it were their own.

So they hooked up the video poker,iirc, to the tank and when people tha ordered the lobster
