Millions of Muslims believe that violence against civilian targets in the name of Islam can be justified.
25% of younger US Muslims approve of suicide bombings.
1 of 4 citizens in Turkey believe that blowing up innocents is an acceptable practice.
Less than half of Pakistanis think it is a good idea to “pursue and capture Al Qaeda or Taliban fighters.”
Tonight Michelle Malkin explained jihad to our President Obama who flubbed the question this week in India.

What the data shows is that, after 9/11, substantial numbers of Muslims approved of violence against civilians, and that these numbers have dropped as the war against the terrorists progressed. You can thank George Bush, if you’ve got the guts.
Indonesia has better numbers than the rest of the countries, however, 10% of 200M is still 2M. So, Michelle Malkin’s statement that millions of people believe that jihad is violent struggle against literally the whole world (as clearly stated by the Muslim Brotherhood in the Hamas Covenant) is literally true.
The GOP does need help, and I will give it to them on some subjects, regardless of where Michelle Malkin stands. In this case, she happens to be on very solid ground.

Don’t feel too bad, the ~2 billion Christians around the world aren’t part of the problem either.
We ought to be concerned by the 24 million in Indonesia who think violent jihad is acceptable. When we add in the ~200 million Islamists from elsewhere in the world, we have ~224 million we need to keep an eye upon.

There are five duties (known as Pillars) that a Muslim must fulfill to truly submit (Islam means “submission”) to the will of Allah. Some Muslims see Jihad as a sixth Pillar. Some of that group see Jihad as an internal struggle and others as a struggle against the “enemies” of Islam. That means any of us that are not Muslims.
The practical point Michelle was making is about numbers and action. There are a lot of people who want to kill you. Twist that line any way you want but the period means you’re dead.

So the Jihad is directed toward those that are not Muslim; they are considered not to be holy?

Let me enlighten you #4. There is only islam. islam has 2 houses: house of peace (muslim) and house of war (everyone else). Regardless of 10% vs 90%, all muslims believe a time will come when islam will control the whole world. At that time, you submit to islam or die. Do you still assume the 90% of muslims are peaceful? I beg to differ.
