Ground Zero Mosque Asks For $5 Million Federal Grant to Help Fund Their Project

Developers for the Ground Zero Mosque recently applied for a $5 million federal grant to help fund their project.
The Daily Beast reported:
The so-called Ground Zero mosque recently applied for a $5 million federal grant from a fund designed to rebuild lower Manhattan after 9/11, reports The Daily Beast’s John Avlon.
Developers of the controversial Park51 Islamic community center and mosque located two blocks from Ground Zero earlier this month applied for roughly $5 million in federal grant money set aside for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11th, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the matter.
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) tweeted that it was outrageous to even consider funding this project with federal taxpayer dollars.

You never got this far. Your application was turned down to rebuild your church even though it has been in that immediate area for more than fifty years. Your Orthodox Church was unwelcome in NYC; the mosque is not.

Much cheaper option – invest approx 50,000 USD with some Eastern European (or Mexican) technicians and have the matter taken care of once and for all.
You know it makes sense (economically that is) and much more practical ( it short circuits all the legal lawyerly stuff ) —– and its quiet and deniable.

Anything else falls under the “hey, it’s all good!” category. “Separation of Church and State” to the Lefties means “Separation of Chistianity or Judaism and State.” Wicca’s cool. Buddha’s cool. Yes folks, you would not believe it, but me and all my fellow Dutch tax payers are unwillingly supporting this damned mosque, it’s making me sick! But hey, our European governments already handed us over to muslims, mosques and sharia, long live political correctness…

While Sharia doesn’t bar Muslims from receiving help from Muslim criminals, the assistance should be rejected “if it is likely to harm the reputation of the mujahideen, or their jihad plan,” according to Maqdisi.]

Thank you, thank you for the wonderful link. When I shared this with my 40 year old daughter, she cried. Hearing the resounding applause after the performance gave me hope for our country. At a time when much of what we hear is negative, this was truly inspiring. I would love to see this go viral on utube. It would drive the left nuts.

Congress will not let this pass. Then Obama will appoint a Ground Zero “ecumenical” czar who will then proceed to fund this.
As far as separation of church and state, Odonnell was right. Government agencies can fund any religious need as long as taxes are not raised for a specific religious purpose or congress does not vote to fund any religion. i.e. President Bush used executive discretionary funds to pay for Faith based Initiative conferences.

If there is any grant to be awarded, it should go to the GREEK Church that stood behind the towers. A$$wipe Bloomberg is not fighting for that Church to be rebuilt. To hell with these radical Muslims (I am not including all Muslims), or wherever they go. NO SHARIA LAW in the US or radical Muslims (to be rooted out and sent back to their motherland). America wake up! Come on now, its time to get up. The Muslims are here and they want your bed. They also want your homes, your schools, your cities, your rights. They want to move into your America and destroy it. They want to bring Sharia law to your courts. They have succeeded in Europe, they have succeeded in Africa, they have succeeded all over the world. They cannot succeed here or in Israel. NO more political correctness. Do your part. Do not hire them, do not rent to them. There are ways they can’t make you hire them or rent to them just tell them the spot is already taken or you have decided on someone else, anyone else. All other religions practice some kind of tolerance and love. Not these heathens, heck they would choke their own mother if she were raped by some thugs.
