They just don’t get it.
The Obama-Pelosi-Reid Regime tripled the national deficit in one year.

(The Captain’s Comments)
They’ve damaged the economy for years to come.

They doubled the unemployment rate from where it was when they took over Congress.

48 of 50 states have lost jobs since they rammed through their Trillion dollar stimulus bill. The Obama-Pelosi economic plan resulted in a cumulative 7.5 million jobs deficit. In fact, Barack Obama is the worst jobs president since the Great Depression.

Despite the fact that democrats destroyed the economy and despite the fact that the state-run media is in their back pocket, democrats are blaming their current predicament on “poor communication.”
FOX News reported:

Two governors sparred over the message Democratic candidates are sending this election— if it’s the right one and if it is even being heard at all.

Governor Ed Rendell, D-Penn., started it all by blaming the Republican voter excitement on his party’s bad communication. Rendell said on CBS “Face the Nation,” “I think this administration has done a great job… We just did a lousy job communicating it. We let the Republicans, to their credit, out-spin us a year-and-a-half ago, and we’re paying the price.”

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, disagreed, “I don’t think it’s about communication. I think it’s about the product. They’re trying to sell something that isn’t any good. And what we have now is an economy that remains in the doldrums.”

There wasn’t much agreement about what will happen after this election either.

Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn, is not sure the next couple of days matter much. “You have to look at this time period, as Governor Rendell suggested, as 21 months where we’ve been stabilizing things.”

Klobuchar insisted, “Now it’s time to move forward…. I think courage is not necessarily going to be standing up alone in the coming years. It’s going to be standing next to someone you don’t always agree with to work for this country.”

The arrogance of this bunch is really unbelievable.

  1. I caught a couple of minutes of MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann last night.
His worry … that some Republican was going to extort Obama to make his birth certificate public.
Now there are a lot of problems in this world, but, frankly, this sits near the bottom. There is no death involved .. at least not by the electorate. There is no money involved .. especially not the taxpayers money.
If the worst that can happen as a result of Republicans taking over DC on Tuesday, is the revelation of Barack Obama’s “long form” birth certificate, then there is no better reason to go out and vote for Republicans.

  2. I would give the Dems an A+ for getting their message out. The problem is the refused to listen to us. Tomorrow the voters will get our message out: “CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?”

  3. they keep patting themselves on the back for what’s been passed. i don’t see it but maybe it’s like beauty – in the eyes of the beholder. i never thought coaching a public to judge their life by what they don’t have rather than what they have was a good direction to take.

  4. NO, the Dem’s ARE PROUD OF THIER LEGISLATIVE RECORD. 100 of them are self professed socialists. Distroying the capitalist America is quite a feat. Now its our turn. Let the rat killin begin. American’s a mad as hell and not going to vote dem anymore.
    powder is dry.

  5. When you have to constantly lie about your agenda in order to get elected, your party will always have a “communication problem.”

  6. by way of iotw…….
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKgmScYcK6g&feature=player_embedded#!
i do wish we had a scenerio like in the jim carey movie ‘liar liar” – minimum 48 hours where they can’t lie.

  7. Oh, they get it. They just will not – let me repeat, will not – admit that their policies are failures. They will not, (repeat, will not) admit that any conservative, or Republican idea of governing is the correct one.

They can not, nor will not admit they are wrong. It is always someone else’s fault (they have a perpetual victim mindset). And, any failures are because someone else screwed up their plans for utopia. It was not them.

No – they do get it. But, they had rather go down bald face lying, and blaming others – holding on to their victim-hood status than admit they, and their philosophy of governing is a proven failure. Even with all the glaring proof of the european model failing – they will gladly, boldly lie, and mislead. Especially, since they have the media complex to cover for them, and be their attack dogs.

  8. It is not a failure to get their message out. It is that the American people, each and every one of us descendants of people independent enough to leave everything and everyone they knew behind in order to make a new life for themselves, don’t agree with the message Pelosi may think that unemployment creates new jobs, but we don’t agree. The whole idea of being dependent on and subject to our “betters” is completely against the American Way – period.

Quite right Granny. It is not in our nature as Americans to not be self reliant.

  10. If the MSM communicated honestly, everyone would have know of obama’s radical background and lack of qualifications and he would have never been elected.

  11. I think we heard them loud and clear – and they heard us but arrogantly chose to ignore what we were saying.

  12. The conservatives can cement their position for generations if they will just bear down and do what we are asking them to do. Let’s all hope for a consensus so we can become the “Party of GO.” LOL

  13. Oh, they get it. Behind closed doors, over a third or fourth Scotch, in personal emails, they know what is happening. We understand the message all too well.

They know we know what is happening. Publicly, they can never admit to it, but already the long knives are coming out for Obamao and his minions. They got them into their dire straights and getting rid of them will get them out, or so they think.

  14. The leftist/progressive worldview has always been that the “little people” are too stupid to govern themselves and make their own decisions (except when it comes to sexual behavior, drugs and killing their unborn babies) and so the Elites must rule over them, regulating how much they eat and drink, where they can live, how much fuel they can use, what healthcare resources they may fairly consume, how they may manage their property, etc.

Such a worldview is predicated upon the belief that you are too stupid to act rightly, too stupid to understand what is in your best interests. Most of human history is a story of this worldview empowered in various political systems. From dictatorships, to kingships, empires, revolutionary councils, tribal chieftains, and military juntas, Humanity has run itself accordingly. The United States was a brief exception to the tyranny of the few over the many. Unfortunately, many of our citizens didn’t learn history well, and some know and despise the very Liberty our system embodies. One such person is Obama, and many of the Democrats in Congress.

When they say they didn’t communicate clearly, what they mean is that you are too stupid to understand that they are only trying to relieve you of the awful burdens of Liberty and things will be much better once you TRULY see that 2+2=5. You only resist collectivization because you are not smart enough to want it.

Now, go show them that you are the pitchfork-carrying, redneck, racist, Theist, stubbornly individualistic American that they have always hated you for being, and vote for anyone who won’t caucus with the Socialist (Democrat) party!

  15. I say the dims should continue down this path and blame everything but themselves. It’s going to be a historic election tomorrow but that shouldn’t change their attitude and mentality one bit for the next two years. The state funded main stream media should also continue to cover and spin for them as they have done just long enough for their propaganda machine to die.

    Prediction for 2010:
65 seats in the house picked up for GOP
10 in the senate picked up for GOP

If they continue down this path for 2012:
GOP president (Going to happen either way)
65+ seats for GOP in senate
300+ seats for GOP in congress

  16. Claire Bear McCaskill was on STL’s big AM station, KMOX, this morning “communicating” the miscommunication again. As she’s said before, she told us again how good all their good works such as health care reform and the stimulus are for us. Thanks, Claire, we get it. My favorites:

    * Claire said that her husband “kept asking me, why don’t you just tell people what is in the (healthcare) bill?” Claire says that they were telling people what was in the bill, but the media only wanted to cover the fight as the fight was more interesting. Claire also explained that the public really wasn’t going to read thru the thousands of page of arcane details. In other words, Claire blamed both the media and us the people (yeah, we don’t really want to know -is that it, Claire?)

Claire hasn’t changed her tune one bit, singing the same old song. Made me feel even more proud of the votes I’ll cast tomorrow. Can’t wait for the opp to vote Claire out!

  17. #8 you have it right. They get it, but won’t admit any mistake, AND they think the rest of us are so STUPID as to believe THEY DON’T GET IT.

They need to be constantly confronted and condescending and arrogant…..

  18. Sorry about the spelling.

They need to be constantly confronted as condescending and arrogant…..
