Speaker Pelosi claims on her website that she cut the Bush deficit by more than half by 2013(?)
Pundit Press discovered this bizarre claim on her website:

The fact is that rather than cutting the Bush deficit in half, the Obama-Pelosi democrats have nearly tripled the Bush deficit two years in a row.

In fact, for the second year in a row they passed the trillion dollar deficit mark.

    Don’t forget that Pelosi and Reid are also responsible for the 2008 deficit. The 2007 budget was approved by the Republican Congress before the election of 2006; every budget after that can be credited to Pelosi and Reid.

    Nancy does her accounting in foodstamps where one foodstamp equals 1.75 dollars. The bush deficit has quadrupelled in dollar denominated math, but given the number of foodstamps put in circulation, the deficit has actually been cut in half.

    She might as well claim she’s ended worldwide poverty, or brought about perpetual world peace, or achieved universal justice + equality, “by 2020″. They would be equally impossible to disprove.
