Just when you thought you’d heard it all from this horrible person, she outdoes herself.
Speaker Pelosi claims on her website that she cut the Bush deficit by more than half by 2013(?)
Pundit Press discovered this bizarre claim on her website:
The fact is that rather than cutting the Bush deficit in half, the Obama-Pelosi democrats have nearly tripled the Bush deficit two years in a row.
In fact, for the second year in a row they passed the trillion dollar deficit mark.

Don’t forget that Pelosi and Reid are also responsible for the 2008 deficit. The 2007 budget was approved by the Republican Congress before the election of 2006; every budget after that can be credited to Pelosi and Reid.

Nancy does her accounting in foodstamps where one foodstamp equals 1.75 dollars. The bush deficit has quadrupelled in dollar denominated math, but given the number of foodstamps put in circulation, the deficit has actually been cut in half.

Just a wild thought here- isn’t there supposed to be “truth in advertising?” And if this claim in NOT true, can’t someone sue her for false advertising? Because she is advertising a product (herself) for sale (election) to the general public.

Since Pelosi’s idiotic claim pertains to the future (i.e., “by 2013″), it can’t possibly be proven to be false.
She might as well claim she’s ended worldwide poverty, or brought about perpetual world peace, or achieved universal justice + equality, “by 2020″. They would be equally impossible to disprove.
Which is why Nancy Pelosi is an evil, almost Hitlerian, phuque who needs to be deposed ASAP.

2009-2010 Deficit according to the graphic:
2707 Billion
Obama and the democrats have spent more than twice as much and almost 3 times as much in 2 years than Bush did in 8.
Anyone in the MSM with an ounce of credibility could shoot these claims democrats make with 10 seconds of research. I wonder why they don’t, well not really.

The last republican budget was 2006 with unemployment at 4.6 and the deficit at 167 billion. Democrats wrote the 2007 budget and unemployment started up. They wrote the 2008 budget and the deficit doubled. They wrote the 2009 budget and Bush never even SAW it because democrats tried to hide it by voting on it after the election. So we are here at the beginnign of the fifth year of democrat budgets and we have a deficit of 1.7 trillion and real unemployment above 17%. And just as we can thank the democrats for the high unemployment and jobs fleeing overseas we can thank them for the Freddie Mac Fannie melt down that created the recession we are suffering in. See Barney Frank and Chris Dodd refusing to allow Bush in 2003 or 2005 and McCain 2007 leading efforts to prevent the meltdown and Barney and Chris insisting on allow it to crater. So thank the democrats for the recession and double dip depression. How they can try to blame Bush for their own actions over the last five years is baffling but there are a lot of simple people who vote democrat who do not or cannot think for themselves.

We should give pelosi the benifit of the doubt. She is just showing what kind of Math education we should be giving to our kids.
She forgot to square the Half of the deficit and invert the number. Just a small error. She just needs help with using a calculator. And remember that the 1/x button is not the button to determine if money is saved or cost of the budget.
Then again. Does it show show the way she has been running the House. That all her numbers are inverted.
