Of Course. NOW Endorses Rep. Alan Grayson After He Called Female Official a Whore (Video)

A year ago democratic mouthpiece Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) called a female Obama official a whore.
He stood by those comments.
Now, the National Organization of Leftist Women is supporting him.
NOW endorsed this far left nut this weekend.
Pundit Press reported:
The Florida chapter of the National Organization for Women has endorsed incumbent Congressman Democrat Alan Grayson in his reelection race against Republican Daniel Webster. This comes as Grayson has fallen rapidly in the polls since airing a falsified ad in which Grayson stated that his opponent was the equivalent of a terrorist, calling Webster “Taliban Dan.”
The ad showed video of Mr. Webster saying “submit to me” repeatedly, with the implication that Webster wanted women to be ruled by men. It was quickly revealed that Grayson’s campaign heavily edited the video and knew what they were releasing was a lie. However, Grayson has stuck by the ad.
When asked for a statement, President of the Florida chapter Donna Slutiak stated that Grayson is “100 percent on women’s issues. He’s never let us down yet.” On Webster, Slutiak commented that, “We’ll be set back 20 years if he’s elected.”

I think that NOW has proven by their responses to several events (as well their endorsements) in the last 20-months that they have entirely lost what little credibility they may have had in the past. They have been reduced to a shrill, rabid group only intent on advancing the most extreme of leftist agendas. Though–to be fair–they were ALWAYS shrill.

NOW is about abortion, nothing else. It certainly is not a pro-women group. In my opinion a NOW endorsement probably hurts a candidate. Of course NOW would support Grayson the cro-magnon.

NOW is a joke. I am a female inspector who tells men that they need to submit better parts, all the time, every day 13 times a day. Believe me NOW has no idea what the female deals with in work and doesn’t care, they are NOTHING but another leg of the democrat party. What they have done by endorsing the men who sterotype women as sluts or nuts for simply wanting to bring back limited government and the Constitution is OUTRAGEOUS. This organization isn’t the NOW that my aunts knew. NOW lost the battle over the ERA but won the war over women’s workplace and banking rights.
After that, they made a crucial choice, to refuse to recognize what they had won (and therefore turn to teaching people how to use their rights) and instead to take refuge in increasingly marginal claims of continued victimhood.
Just like the Nation of Islam, and Rev. Wright.
These days, NOW is a travesty of its former self, to the point that it makes excuses for its failure to comment on truly horrible practices, such as female genital mutilation and the treatment of women as a subspecies or property under some versions of Shari law (enshrined in the national laws of many countries). They don’t support the women of Iran and Afghanistan.
Like CAIR, they have lost their entire original base. CAIR no longer represents American Muslims, and NOW no longer represents American women.

I am completely convinced that everyone connected to the left mind set is mentally challenged. Grayson is obviously insane, Al Gore is 75% nuts, Harry Reid thinks Byrd and Kennedy are alive. Now cares nothing for the actual blight of women unless of course they are from the left. Goebbels said it and I believe it “you tell a big enough lie often enough, people will begin to believe it” What isn’t said is the people that come to believe it are not the brightest bulbs. The left is certifiable, and should be taken out of office as fast as possible before they cost millions of deaths, that is avoidable.

Tammy Bruce, who long ago headed the Los Angeles chapter of NOW, wrote about how the Democratic Party would use its offices for fundraising and other political activities despite NOW claiming it was a non-partisan organization. Bruce told the Dems to split but she quickly realized NOW wasn’t about women, it was about leftist politics. She quit after NOW supported Bill Clinton during the Paula Jones and Monica Lewinski scandals.
It doesn’t support “women,” it only supports a narrow Marxist political agenda and abortion. It will support a sexual harasser/accused rapist if he is a left-wing pro-abortion Democrat, and it will not support a woman if she is a Republican and/or pro-life.

NOW endorsed Jerry Brown after he called Meg Whitman a ‘whore’, so this is no surprise. Since NOW failed to chastise Clinton over his extra marital escapades in the 90s, NOW has had no credibility on women’s issues and has not sought in any meaningful sense to rehabilitate its numerous lapses and hypocrisies.

NOW should change their name to National Organization of Women Demonrats or National Organization of Women Libtards (or …Women Progressives, …women Marxists, …women Socialists). National Organization of Women would, with rare exceptions, endorse the woman candidate. But we knew all this when NOW didn’t support or at least speak out against the sexism aimed at Sarah Palin and her daughters, didn’t we? (Some of us even noticed it when NOW didn’t speak out against the sexism aimed at HR Clinton by the Oilbama campaign and his filthy supporters.)
