With Halloween less than two weeks away, radio giant Rush Limbaugh took a brief moment today to say President Obama looks “demonic” in some wire-service photographs posted online at the Drudge Report.
President Obama campaigning for the re-election of Democrats over the weekend.
These pictures, they look demonic. And I don’t say this lightly,” Limbaugh said as he opened his program.
“There are a couple pictures, and the eyes, I’m not saying anything here, but just look,” he remarked about the president who has been campaigning for the re-election of fellow Democrats.
“It is strange that these pictures would be released … it’s very, very, very strange.”
It’s scary Obama, just in time for Halloween.

This has been patently obvious since long before he was elected. There is a reason that he did not release his medical records and rather just brought a doctor’s note. The best – and truthfully only – reason I can think of to hide those records is because of psychological problems.
It has long been apparent that he is a clinical narcissist and a habitual liar who apparently isn’t even cognizant of his own lies.
And on top of that, he admits himself to drug use – including cocaine – during his youth and college years. That does not miraculously disappear. In fact, cocaine is so addicting that the US military bans anyone who has ever even tried cocaine a single time from ever getting anywhere close to our nuclear arsenal. Doesn’t it make you feel good to know there is a druggie with his hand on the switch? And you know he still is, because he is still smoking. If he doesn’t have the willpower to quit smokes with all the help there is out there, he didn’t quit the other stuff either.

I just watched a show on the “Rise and Fall of Adolph Hitler”. There is a striking resemblance between Obama’s expressions in the above pictures and Hitler’s expressions in the film.

Yes, it’s true – McCain, Bush, Hillary, Pelosi, Reid. We’ve all seen the bad pictures and the photoshops. Those pictures say more about the writer of the article than the subject.
It’s real cheap, and it’s the major underlying driver for the Democratic Party’s recent emphasis on the looks of their candidates. After the Edwards debacle, perhaps they will re-think that requirement.
This doesn’t make Rush look good, either. Notice once again that the ONLY thing that comes through from a rather long article by Mr. Limbaugh is the cheap shot, easily the weakest point in the entire essay.

You know, the devil’s first and most successful strategy is to get people to NOT believe that he exists. Once he’s done that, he is let loose in that person’s life.
He is real, his legions of fallen angels are real, and he really influences people and events because he knows his time is short – whether you believe it or not.
It is perfectly plausible that anyone not belonging to Christ can be motivated / influenced to do Satan’s will. Bible-believing Christians are not surprised at this. No, I don’t see a demon behind every bush (no pun intended) but I know that Satan is active in this world with increasing force and rage.
I think history will show BHO as a weak man, propped up by the media, his minions and his handlers (Soros, et. al), as someone who tried to (and succeeded at some levels) destroy this country. And yes, some of these elements are influenced by Satan and his demons.

Part but not all of the change in demeanor of the President in recent photos is the selection of the photos themselves. Gone are the halo backdrops used in the campaign and the early days of the presidency. Earlier demonic pictures wouldn’t make it to the graphics editor. Now they do.
Does this portend a major shift in the press? Probably not, but it has broken the lock step praise of Obama in the legacy media. As some break ranks, others will be tempted to do so also.
Coming at the final stages of the election cycle, it couldn’t happen at a better time.

Pathological narcissists don’t seek help from mental health professionals because they believe nothing’s wrong with them. When they’re feeling depressed, angry, frustrated, overwhelmed, etc., it’s someone else’s fault; it’s that other person or other people and the things they do that make the pathological narcissist feel sad, down, angry, etc.
The rare pathological narcissist who’s visited a therapist did so to appease someone else (an employer, a new lover and source of adoration, the courts). There are other mental illnesses that he could be suffering from instead of pathological narcissism and for which he might have sought treatment. Borderline personality disorder and paranoid personality disorder come to mind first, both of which produce pathological liars and, like all personality disorders, lack of empathy. BPDs are more likely to seek help because PPDs are many times too paranoid that the therapist is out to get them, too.
If he’s bipolar or unipolar (depressed), he may have sought help and/or even be under treatment now. Manic phases might give him that possessed look, but depression wouldn’t. And neither bipolar nor unipolar would account for his habitual lying, which is neither mutually inclusive or mutually exlusive of either mood disorder.
If he’s ever overdosed on drugs or been in an accident and admitted to a hospital with drugs in his system, or admitted himself to a drug rehab, that would be in his medical records.
Finally, from what I’ve been told, NA and AA meetings are as smoky as bars. I don’t know what that indicates, if anything, about quitting drugs (or alcohol) but not quitting smoking. It’s just an observation that’s been shared with me and that I’m sharing here.

I posted a comment at this very blog about The Wonce’s speech patterns (rhythm, pace, etc.), the possibility that it’s hypnotic to some (although annoying to me) and even included a link to the document on The Wonce using hypnotic techniques and was informed by another commenter that that was BS, that his listeners are just stupid. (Well, excu-u-use ME!) Glad to see I’m not the only one to at least consider the possibility of hypnotic techniques used in his speeches.
You know, that could be another reason, in addition to his being as dumb as stump, that he sounds like a totally different man when speaking without his teleprompter. There may be more to his prepared speeches than meets the eye…or, in this case, the ear and eye.

Well, let me add this… I happened across this forum about the time of the “Echo” debate; I wan perhaps led in (or misled?) by the sponsorship ads, featuring works by luminaries such as Fr. Damian of Molokai and John Henry Cardinal Newman, so I was hoping that there might be here a format for traditional, conservative, positive, Faith-illumined discussion of issues of the day. I was intrigued (and thought, “Wow! what will the response to that be”…) to Echo Jr.’s perhaps overstated allegations over overmuch savor of hate, judegment, condemnation, and demonization. I’ve found, though, that replies to EJ’s (and others’) comments may be of a less-than charitable and rational nature – or, in other cases, are likely to go unanswered, when frequent posters have long moved on to the latest furor-of-the-day (or minute), which makes dialogue very difficult. In fact, it does not seem that “dialogue” is welcome, if any dissenting view is attacked, mangled, or dismissed. What kind of model of American democracy and republican freedom comes from only having a few like minds agreeing with one another? When a comment about Arabs of CHRISTIAN affiliation provoked a bitter attack against against so-called “MUZZTARDS,” I decided that maybe I’d not visit here any longer.
Did you all happen to see the Former Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleezza Rice, on “The Daily Show (with Jon Stewart)”? I can guess at a majority answer, but, in any case, there’s links below to That Awful, Awful Media (I hazard to guess that the Former Secretary has been magically morphed into an arch-liberal just by deigning to appear in such a venue). Dr. Rice made a couple of interesting points about how, having been on the inside of national policy-making, she believes that she can do better for our country than just “chirp” from the outside, and that she knows that our elected leaders are patriotic Americans trying to do the best that they can in a difficult situation.
Maybe her words and example could be taken to heart by a few of those who spend time here… unless the goal is just to stoke and stroke the fires and extremities of one’s intractable opinions already held, rather than engage in real dialogue.
