Rasmussen Reports has Republicans leading in 6 of 7 senate seats just two days before the midterm election. West Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Washington all show the Republican candidate leading their liberal opponent. In California Carly Fiorina is still in striking range of unseating far left Senator Maam.

  1. If the “wave” breaks as expected, the pubs could win six (perhaps all seven) of these
    Senate seats.

  2. Only voting will make it so. No excuses. Make NOvember happen.

  3. My voter card is in my hand right now and i’m ready to head out the door but….I have to wait until Tuesday! I’m excited!

  4. Ahh the sound of a roaring wave as it washes the crap out of the Agean stables of Washington. Saw the statistic once in the MSM.
17% of Democrats voting Republican. Lemme see now….Republicans are energized to vote, check. Independants are breaking for Repub’s, check. Democrats lost 17% of thier base, check. This is an event that will go down in history books.

Probably the biggest racist event in history, sarc off. powder is dry

  5. On Tuesday, We The People will “Hit back twice as hard”. Talk to your neighbors and co-workers, ten minutes of your time can make a big difference, a couple extra votes from every street can move mountains. Make sure that they VOTE.

  6. Be careful Gateway — your headline reads:

West Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Washington all show the Republican candidate leading their liberal opponent.

But the video and Rasmussen is showing the Dem ahead in WV and VERY close in Washington state.

  7. I was going to ask about WV also. Rasmussen’s last poll there had Manchin up 3 (though I expect Raese to win this one).

  8. In MohamObama’s home land of Indonesia the Son of Krakatau volcano has started to erupt. Yet another sign from God ! …. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1J_mxJotkI

  9. California has vote-by-mail, and I took great pleasure in voting against Barbara Boxer and for Meg Whitman. As in Maryland, I don’t really expect to have much effect, because CA is a very Democratic state, and most races are decided in the primaries.

This is not a whole-hearted embrace of Conservatism, but a desperate effort to rid my home party of the nuts and radicals that have diverted it from the very successful liberal-libertarian model to some faded copy of the clumsy, failed socialism of what used to be the USSR.

  10. I’d give my left arm if the Republicans could take control of the Senate away from the corrupt Obamacrats and Harry Reid. Otherwise we’ll have to wait till 2016. Repulsive thought.

I see what they are doing, fudging the numbers as all liars do. Notice in my state they did not say anything about Congressman Samford Bishop (D, Georgia). He is going down. Oh by the way the races in Georgia they did call, solid Dem. GEE our local news affiliate, (fox of course), said yesterday there is a strong possibility of the Republicans to sweep all the races this year due to the STRONG TPM we have here. powder is dry.

  12. Careful you don’t let wishful thinking obscure the facts, as you apparently have done here.
Rasmussen shows Manchin in WV and Boxer in CA both up 3 points over republican rival. That makes 5 out of 7 toss ups, not 6 out 7, leaning republican. What Rasmussen actually said is it will take 6 out of the 7 toss ups to go republican to reach the magic number of 51 senate republicans. Let’s hope turn out is high enough to over come dem leads in CA and WV.

  13. Fellow Kollyfornians: you can go to carlyforca.com and make GOTV calls from home, very easy to do. Like they say, Be The Wave.

It’s anectodal of course, but I’ve encountered many disenchanted libs who’ll be voting R this time around, so maybe there’s Hope yet!

I also notice that all the R signs here in Marin County don’t stay up for very long. But we won’t stoop to that level and be just like them …

We want this very blue state dispirited and not energized so — Go Rangers! ;)

  14. Don’t count on WA.

  15. these polls don’t take into account the frequent voter or the dead voters. so i wouldn’t do any celebrating just yet. everyone needs to get out their on tuesday and get evryone out vote to counteract the unpollable voter bloc.
