Barack Obama and Joe Biden go to Delaware to campaign for the bearded Marxist…

…Tea Party breaks out.
(Via Kerry Picket Plixi)
Chris Coons, the self-professed bearded Marxist, is such a sure win in Delaware over Christine O’Donnell that both Barack Obama and Joe Biden are going to make a special appearance there today to campaign for him.
Yeah… They’re not worried at all.
Related… It should come as no surprise that Obama is campaigning for the bearded Marxist, he endorsed the socialist in 2006, too.
But, the media insists he’s a moderate.

You never will understand why blacks flock to the party of the KKK. The only thing I can figure is someone must have told them Lincoln was the one who freed the slaves, and ran the KKK.

If the people of DE vote this man in, they will show themselves to be the biggest chumps around. Here’s some information on Coons. He’s even creepy looking.
Coons Lied Repeatedly In Debate With O’Donnell
First, one of the most ironic bits of information I found when researching behind last night’s debate, was that Coon’s original family filed bankruptcy and lost their home. Funny that all the critics of O’Donnell’s personal finances have never mentioned that.
His parents were forced to declare bankruptcy and sell their home in the mid-1970s after his father, a food industry executive, fell on hard times. His parents later divorced.
His Mother later remarried into money. If we’re going to use the same standard the media applies to Christine O’Donnell, perhaps we should assume the money was the only reason she remarried in the first place. Coons also bragged about his private industry experience – which is limited to his having worked for his stepfather at W. L Gore.
Coons lied when O’Donnell confronted him on how his family stands to profit from Cap and Trade, which will increase the need for newer technologies in the alternative energy area.
O’DONNELL: I’d like to know if your family business stands to have a financial gain if Cap and Trade is passed and if so, would you recuse yourself in the lame duck sessions from voting with Harry Reid? COONS: Fascinating question. No, to the best of my knowledge there is no direct financial benefit. And I do think it’s important for folks in public office to conduct themselves ethically, to be transparent and to be accountable for decisions they make and for votes that they cast.
All one need do is check the website of Gore/Coons’ family firm. See here for much more.
Gore solutions are at the forefront of technical advancement in the energy-production industry. Products include filtration devices for demanding trash-to-steam energy production, membranes and electrodes for energy storage in batteries and capacitors, sensors for non-invasive geochemical hydrocarbon prospecting and membranes for superior fuel cell performance.
Finally, he also lied about his adoption of a Marxist ideology.
BLITZER: Because a lot of people remember, because they’ve learned in last few weeks you did once describe yourself when you were in college a long time ago as a bearded Marxist.
COONS: Great question, Wolf. I hope folks will go and read the article. It’s an article that I wrote as a senior the day of our commencement speech and the title and the content of that clearly makes it obvious that it was a joke.
Go read it, I posted it weeks ago. It was not a joke. He rejected Reagan and free markets, adopting a Marxist view, instead. Blitzer and his colleague put in one of the most biased peformances I’ve ever seen as moderators. And now the media is headlining that Coons claims O’Donnell wasn’t truthful. The fact is, Chris Coons lied repeatedly.
I came to suspect, through these and other courses, that the ideal of America as “a beacon of freedom and justice, providing hope for the world” was not exactly based in reality.
I realize that Kenya and America are very different, but experiences like this warned me that my own favorite beliefs in the miracles of free enterprise and the boundless opportunity to be had in America might be largely untrue.
The point that others ignore is that I was ready to change. Experiences at Amherst my first two years made me skeptical and uncomfortable with Republicanism, enough so that I wanted to see the Third World for myself to get some perspective on my beliefs. Certainly Kenya provided a needed catalyst; I saw there poverty, and oppression more naked than any in America, and I studied under a bright and eloquent Marxist professor at the University of Nairobi. Nevertheless, it is only too easy to return from Africa glad to be an American and smugly thankful for our wealth and freedom. Instead, Amherst had taught me to question, so in return I questioned Amherst, and America.
Some of the “Leftists” that I met early on were terrifyingly persuasive, although I never admitted that. A few became my friends and provided a constant nagging backdrop of doubt, for which I am now grateful. More importantly, during sophomore year, several professors challenged the basic assumptions about America and the world relations with which I had grown up. Cultural Anthropology inspired a fascination with other peoples, and undermined the accepted value of progress and the cultural superiority of the West.

I wish it was correct that Pres Zero and that big F%&*$# idiot VP from Delaware came to Wilmington because they are scared for Coons. I support O’Donnell. But I think it’s more that this is likely the only race where Zero can show up and not swing the race to the Gop. I mean we re-elected Slow Joe and Mike Castle (RINO) for years.
But the really fun thing is that Slow Joe’s kid, Dumb Beau Biden, chickened out of the Senate race when Castle said he was going to run for the Senate. Now Joe has to go campaign for Coons and not his son who would likely have won now if he had the balls to run.
But “Go Christine” anyway.

O’Donnell will win by 5% on election day. Coons condescending attitude, the media whores blatant bias, Obama-Biden campaigning, and O’Donnell’s very rational and informed debate answers have begun to move her into striking distance. The undecideds are moving her way and she’s got the momentum to carry her forward and past. The media have thrown all the weird stuff at her that they can. The people have seen and heard her and now they know that she’s just like them, brain freezes and all. O’Donnell goes to Congress and the GOP elite backers of RINOs will have egg on their faces.
Ratt commented:
Sure would be nice if National Review and Powerline broke out here too. But they’re busy looking with sadness at the demise of the Republican elite.
Note, Coons’ lead per Rasmussen, has narrowed to 9 points. There’s still time for O’Donnell to win.

Khan Krum #11 and DukeofWellington#12:
I’d like to believe that you’re right, but believe that O’Donnell’s going to lose. Delaware is just too damn blue (and elitist) for her to win. Truth is, she never had a chance, not in that state.
If it’s true that “all politics is local,” the best you can hope for in a really committed, Democratic state is that the RINO will win and by voting with the Republicans at least part of the time, will offset the worst trepidations of the Far Left Dems.
I think that’s what Rove and Krauthammer were really trying to say. It’s not elitism on their part, just a savvy, pragmatic, realistic sense that conservatives are unlikely to do well in districts that are “owned” by the Left (think San Francisco, for instance). Of course, the opposite is true, too: In my home state of Louisiana, there’s no way someone like Nancy Pelosi would ever be elected to the city council of a tiny town, much less as a representative to the House.
Bottom line: I hope O’Donnell wins (miracles do happen occasionally), but am about 92% sure she won’t.

AuntieMaddie commented:
I believe the polls are skewed in favor of libtards and have been for years. The reason they do this is to make their picks (always other libtards like themselves) appear to already have won. This helps their picks because not only are winners more attractive and desirable than losers, which influences the undecided, but also because there are idiots with voting rights who don’t realize that casting a vote in an election (you vote your choice, regardless of their chances of winning) isn’t like placing a bet on a boxing match (you bet on who you think will win, not on your favorite and who’d be the winner if it were up to you).
My point is that O’Donnell could be closer in the race than the polls reflect.
AuntieMaddie commented:
rabittman #6 – You’re probably right about them thinking this is the only candidate that the two can campaign for without it being the kiss of death for his political career.

Alternative headline: Coons loses the election thanks to Obama’s support.
I have to wonder about the wisdom here. Given Obama’s horrible track record of supporting candidates who lose, he may have just handed the Senate victory to O’Donnell. Maybe they thought O’Donnell is an easy target and cannot win. But how much of a points boost will she get now? This may come down to the wire. I would love to see the faces of Matthews, Maddow and Olbermann on election night having to say Senator Christine O’Donnell.

The match for senator that will probably sound the Dem death knell is the O’Donnell/Coons match for senate. Here, the Dems definitely overplayed their hand. It appears Christine will get the last laugh.
SNL and the mainstream media savaged Christine O’Donnell. Now they’re experiencing savager’s remorse.
What SNL, and the mainstream media did to a nice lady named Christine O’Donnell, however, as mouthpieces for Barack Obama, borders on the indecent; was very nasty. And is obviously stupid in a political sense. It had Joe Biden and Obama flying like pixies yesterday to Delaware to rescue big government/little economy Chris Coons.
You see, if you have a political opponent with low awareness, who’s down in the polls, you have to consider letting her campaign die a quiet death.
In the case of Christine O’Donnell, though, who was a self avowed communist….oh cripes, I got confused. It’s Coons, her opponent, who’s the self avowed communist. Let me start over.
However, in the case of Christine O’Donnell, who admitted in high school she associated with kids who dabbled in witchcraft, the mainstream media and SNL had an easy target. They just couldn’t resist taking some cheap pot shots at the woman who nobody knew. They couldn’t resist seeing how many broomstick jokes they could think up. In fact, the girls at MSNBC devoted entire shows trying to turn O’Donnell into the laughingstock of the nation (unfortunately for them, they have no ratings).
“There’s one Republican,” (as Jerry Brown’s team puts it; who won’t have a whore’s chance to win November 2). (Or was his team talking about his opponent for governor?) The more they mock, defame, sully, slander (calling a woman a “whore” is slander prima facie) and denigrate, the more confusing who the leftist speaker is.
Of course, the left savages Trig Palin, too. I’m not dismissing that. And I’m not forgetting how in 2008 Obama said putting lipstick on Palin was the equivalent of putting Revlon on a pig. If anybody detects a pattern of leftist language that savages Republican women, I’m willing to stipulate it to be true. But my habit of getting off track is not a good one. And I want to try to break it.
So where was I? Oh, yeah, I’m about to talk about the mistake the left is making with O’Donnell.
The trouble is, in savaging O’Donnell with “witch” jokes, the political party that likes to squander tax money by the trillions just might have shot themselves in the foot once again, mortally wounding Chris the self avowed Commie’s chances (and Harry Reid’s self avowed “pet”, whatever the heck Reid meant by that) of winning the race Chris Coons likens to beating a dumb “she dog” (you know what he said).
The mistake the Democrat folks made, as I see it, (besides disrespecting women) was giving O’Donnell tremendous awareness.
And if those nice folks who live in Delaware do some digging, and discover Coons is a rubber stamp vote for every runaway spending bill Obama gets stuck in his head; or tries jamming down America’s throat like “Cap and Tax” (brother of ObamaCare); or who knows what other money sucking scheme Obama and his merry men dream up, well, with Coons rubber stamp vote, we all stand to lose our shirts.
But Obama is now realizing with all the awareness Christine O’Donnell now has, and with all the awareness the people of Delaware potentially can gain; finding out, for example that, at the Grand in Wilmington, Coons and Obama were joking what a 15 trillion dollar deficit would look like, well, the leftists may be overplaying their hand. November 2 could turn out to be their Waterloo. Instead of soaking the taxpayers, Obama and Coons may get the soaking.
Now you know why Obama and Joe Biden flew like pixies into Delaware yesterday.
Now that Christine has a high awareness, they want to keep the awareness low what Coons the self avowed Communist really stands for. Big government. Tiny economy. Jobs? Only one for himself.
If the people find out that O’Donnell stands for a big economy and a little government, she wins; game, set and match. Then O’Donnell, the target of every joke on mainstream TV and SNL and the View for weeks, will win by a landslide in just a little over two weeks. Because a Coons victory would ensure a horrendous money slide from your wallets to Obama’s government coffers. Did you know that Coons raised taxes a cool 53%.
“Amidst all of the whirlwind surrounding Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell, far too little attention has been paid to Chris Coons. Byron York helps fix that problem in his Examiner column:
“Coons, 47, is the top executive of New Castle County, home to a majority of Delaware’s population. From a Republican perspective, there’s one really important thing to know about his time in office: In 2004, when Coons first ran for the job, he promised not to raise taxes. Since then he has raised taxes not once, not twice, but three times.
“Coons inherited a surplus. Celebrating victory on election night in 2004, he said his “top priority would be to continue balancing the budget without increasing property taxes,” according to an account in the local News Journal. Yet in 2006, he pushed through a 5 percent increase in property taxes. In 2007, he raised property taxes 17.5 percent. In 2009, he raised them another 25 percent.”(Byron York, Sept. 17, 2010, the right wing liberal)
Doesn’t it make sense to elect the candidate who stands for big economy and little government. Who stands for not a future of food stamps, but a future of pay checks. I know I’m just Rachel Peepers. I’m just a girl, (I don’t care that the leftists like to call me nasty names; I call them bad things, too). But I really and truly think Christine O’Donnell would make a good senator. She gets it. She’s for jobs, not taxes.
Vote for Christine O’Donnell. While you can still afford the trip to the polls.
