Mexican Pirates Shoot US Man on Jet Ski in the Back of the Head- Then Shoot At His Wife in US Waters

According to a Texas sheriff the pirates shot David Hartley in the back of the head and then shot at his wife in US waters. Authorities are still searching for his body.

US officials are searching for David Michael Hartley after he was shot in the back of the head by Mexican pirates on a US border lake.
The Daily Mail reported:
A young wife is desperately searching for her husband after he was shot in the back of the head by Mexican pirates in an ambush while they were jet-skiing on a border lake.
Search teams are combing the U.S. side of Falcon Lake in Texas for David Michael Hartley, 30, after he was apparently gunned down while his wife Tiffany fled to safety in a hail of bullets.
The couple had been jet-skiing on the lake when they were attacked.
Texas officials have been warning against activity on the lake after at least five reported run-ins with pirates this year. Previous hold-ups have never been deadly.
Local Pro8 News reported:
One person is believed to be dead and another shaken up after a group of men reportedly opened fire on a couple from Colorado on Falcon Lake.

And don’t you dare fight back and defend your property as a citizen, or dare enforce the law as a border patrol agent, or you’ll be sued! Certainly don’t pass state immigration laws that will circumvent the federal policy of non-enforcement.

What this couple was doing was of course legal and perfectly acceptable. Except they were doing it in a dangerous area.
Akin to hiking in an area known for grizzly bear attacks at certain times of the year. Or hiking in mountains which form the border between Iraq and Iran. Or permitting your teenage child to sail solo around the world on a course that includes the Cape Horn, the Somali coast, the Strait of Malacca, etc.
These are all dangerous things to do.

God Bless this man and his wife, but like all other victims of Mexican crime in the US, nothing will be done to bring these monkeys to justice.
If they are ever caught (highly unlikely), an American Judge will let them off on a technicality or the Obama Admin will step in and usurp local authority.
Pray for these two and for the country that once would have protected them and sought justice when confronted with such acts of terror.
