Man Pulls Knife on Republican Candidate in Hotel Lobby

Dr. Jill Rowland is running against far left socialist Louise Slaughter in New York.
Last night a man with a knife came into the hotel lobby and threatened Dr. Rowland during a question and answer round table.

Rochester, NY – Wednesday evening, Jill Rowland, the 28th congressional district candidate, was attending a question and answer round table discussion at the Radisson hotel in downtown Rochester. Dr. Rowland was an invited guest of the Turkish American Business and Development Council. At around 10 PM, a man clad in sunglasses and of questionable attire entered the hotel lobby and headed directly toward the sizeable group. A campaign staff volunteer approached the man and asked him if he needed any help. The man did not respond and appeared to retreat momentarily. He then darted to the opposite side of the group where he promptly positioned himself in a threatening pose directly across from Dr. Rowland and the representative from the Turkish consulate. The Rowland Campaign volunteer, alarmed by the irregular behavior, immediately approached the man once again. The man did not respond or move initially, but upon further prompting by the campaign staffer, the man walked away visibly agitated. The man then raised his hands in a threatening manner toward Dr. Rowland and the businessmen and assumed confrontational stances, so the campaign staffer summoned the hotel security immediately.. The man seemed to be familiar with the hotel and was able to expeditiously exit by way of an unconventional path and was now holding what appeared to be a weapon in his hand.
911 was called and the man was followed up East Main Street to the Hyatt parking lot and was subsequently arrested on South Avenue. After a thorough search of the man,an open utility knife was found hidden on his person.
No one was injured in this incident. The businessmen and campaign staff were extremely pleased and appreciative to the hotel security and the fast acting and professionalism of the Rochester police department.

I actually took this seriously until I saw that the “reporter” of this event was the candidate, and the “media” was her Facebook page. C’mon, Facebook? How old is this candidate, 14? Did she squeeze this little fantasy in between plans for a slumber party and new pictures of Justin Bieber? Well, it goes to prove the people at the Rand Paul incident were well within their rights.
The left will kill, injure or maim candidates that might take power from them. Why not? Who is going to stop them, investigate them or hold them responsible? Holder?
If I were running, I’d make sure I had security. Again, the question is begged- where were the cops. Don’t they have details assigned to candidates?

Must have been frightening to have experienced or witnessed this. However, the post’s headline is misleading. Dr. Rowland’s own account doesn’t say the man threatened her with a knife or pulled a knife on her. A weapon is mentioned only in the context of the man leaving:

Mrs. Slaughter’s primary obsession is full sized train sets. She secured funding for the critical Churchville to Byron rail link and has just announced plans to dump million to build a new train station in Rochester. The lady is a joke.

My first thought when seeing this was of Jill and her family. I first met Jill in April and I was struck with how down to earth she truly is. Louise Slaughter has been an embarrasment to the 28th District. The Deem & Pass Queen who offered up some poor women wearing her dead sister’s dentures as a reason to vote for Obamacare. Slaughter is part of those Congress members who are openly socialist.
Jill Rowland will serve the 28th district with the same intestinal fortitude she has shown in her private life and really consider her the last hope for the district that may not be here in the next election.

If is the MSM won’t report this incident, where else is Jill to go to inform people? Where are your concerns for Jill’s 3 young girls, her husband, and her family? Jill has had to go through so much in her life and came out of the other side the kind of person I would want to represent me.

Local media is holding back the story. A source at one local TV station says they are waiting for the man to be charged.
It’s too bad this is how Jill Rowland gets national attention. slaughter deserves to be “yanked” from her seat in Congress by this dentist / Tea Party candidate.
