Happy Birthday, Mahmoud.

The idiots in the Obama State Department are now wishing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad happy birthday.
Maybe Team Obama forgot that only a year ago Mahmoud’s cronies were shooting at democracy protesters from rooftops.

STAY IN POCKET
Four more days.
It’s in the L*rd’s hands now.
Lee Kwan commented:
I think you have to approach this from the mindset of the Hilldebeast-run State Department: “Ahmadinejad hates America, so he can’t be all that bad.”
Beto commented:
And some of you still believe … Obama will serve out his term?
The republicans do not have the political will or moral backbone to do anything significant about the nations peril. It is not in their financial interest. This is why the Tea Party emerged and why I cringe when I see us embracing career politicians who, as a matter of formality, have an R next to their name on the ballot.

It don’t make a difference how we get there … which conveyance. Or which side o’the trouser, one parks their snake.
He’s done.
He will NOT serve out his term. The subpoenas WILL fly. It IS over. All that is required … is patience. The SS Obama is going down.
Believe.

Let’s not forget Neda. The young woman who died for democracy in the street, blood gushing from her face. Shot by one of Mahmoud’s snipers.

Another unforced error by team Obama. These guys seem to default to dictators…typical Dem behavior.

How touching!
The al_Bama/Clinton State Department is appealing to the “softer side” of Pres. Igotmyshortsinawad.
Brad commented:
These guys are like the smitten 7th grader who keeps dreaming about taking the Homecoming Queen to her prom… they just can’t get it through their head… the Iranian regime means what it says.
Man……PJ Crowley = major league Tool. Did he really write that? Seems very “Onionesque” or “Iowahawkian” to me.

Are we to be surprised by an administration that calls Americans for border security “enemies”??Is there anyone left that is not aware that the real enemies of America are walking the halls of congress and living in the whitehouse??

The brilliant minds in the affirmative action administration must keep other world leaders in stitches with their stupidity. John Bolton would have done that a little differently. He would have sent a beautiful greeting with lovely artwork and stunning heartfelt prose, painted on the nose of a cruise missile.
The Triguy commented:
This administration couldn’t be more like the Keystone Cops if they tried!
Beto has a point, especially when the House Republican leadership is telling the potential frosh House members to “leave their campaign staff behind” because they will have “experienced aides” help them understand the committee process. That sounds like a shuck and jive to me.
As for impeachment, there are at least half a dozen points on which Barry could be impeached. The Republicans will not bring charges against him even though they would be well within their rights to do so. There is one main reason why: It would give the Democrats the race card they need to whip the electorate into a frenzy.
I think it’s best for the new congress to put bills in front of Barry that the American people want and have him veto them. It paints him as the know nothing ideolog president he is and paints the Republicans as the party that wants to move the country forward.
RedBeard commented:
The State Department is only trying to appeal to the better side of Ahmadidn’twash. You know, with the idea that making nice to him will turn him into a swell fellow who will suddenly see the error of his ways, stop wishing death to the Jews, give up the dream of nuking Israel, start respecting the human rights of his people, and most importantly, join with Obama in a We-Are-The-World style rendition of Kumbaya.
Yeah, that should work.

STOP calling the administration idiots, clueless, incompetent and anything like that.
Please.
They know exactly what they’re doing……. They’re pros at it too……. and at minimum, it’s being done to incite Americans, generating their crisis too good to waste.
The administration is in full-bore mode to ta…………
Why am I bothering to keep asking the impossible of people on our side who won’t be honest with what’s right in front of them.
I’m going to the range.
Granny commented:
Why does this surprise you? Ahmadinajab’s shooting of the Iranian protesters like dogs in the streets is exactly what this administration will do if they are given half a chance. Remember: Iran claims to be a “democracy” too.
Sasja commented:
Kenny, you are right. They know exactly what they are doing. And today is a good day to get in a little target practice. Thanks.

This is direct from The State Department’s website (click on his name for the page):
Philip J. Crowley
Assistant Secretary
Bureau of Public Affairs
Term of Appointment: 05/26/2009 to present.
Philip J. (P.J.) Crowley previously served as a Senior Fellow and Director of Homeland Security at the Center for American Progress.

The Center For American Progress is owned by George Soros.
Crowley worked directly for one of the most evil bastards on the planet, is now at a high level in the current administration and people expect something like this NOT to happen ?

BUT, I don’t see a whole lot wrong with PJ Crowley’s Twitter message. It certainly is a far cry from wishing Achmadinajad a happy birthday. I too pray that Iran’s leader will open a different relationship with the world…but I am not holding my breath!

The long standing policy of the United States of America is that we have NO direct contact with Iran – and that has not changed under Obama. This “innocuous” twitter message is in direct violation of that policy, rendering the entire policy laughable. Phillip should be fired.

The people have been left to do it themselves while the people who took an oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic remain silent. Except Dr. Terry Lakin, of course. He’s a political prisoner.

In a memorandum to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, President Barack Obama said he had determined that ‘it is in the national interest of the United States’ to waive application of the law to Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan and Yemen … ”

Crowley’s message is silly, but certainly not harmful. Indeed, he’s actually taking an ineffectual but welcome slap at the Iranian regime. I don’t see what all the fuss is about.
Rachelle commented:
Obama refers to fellow Americans as ‘enemies’ in an interview on Univision but he sends birthday greetings to Awk Mah Gin a Dad.
This administration is nuts.
RedBeard commented:
Jesme, I think the ineffectual nature of this is really quite harmful. It telegraphs our weakness to our enemies, just as Obama has done with his World Apology Tour and the refusal to take a hard line against terror-supporting regimes.
Perceived weakness has always, througout history, emboldened our enemies.

Why can’t thesame tech be used to discover where the power lines for cooling or machines enter the ground for the Nuclear bases that are buried. Then just blow them up.If the reactors go “Hot”, so what.

Just as the words “separation of church and state” do not appear in the Constitution, so the words “happy birthday” do not appear in this Tweet. Therefore, PJ Crowley, the founding father of the @PJCrowley Twitter account, did not intend for Ahmadinejad’s birthday to be happy.
Yes, I came here from Media Matters.

98 percent of the comments on this blog are a cross section of the worst of America. When ideology warps your ability to see the plain truth in even a simple line of twitter, when it distorts even the meaning of your own native language, you have let your hatred, racism and xenophobia cripple your not just your higher functions of love and compassion, but your basest ability to be decent and reasonable.

“Happy birthday President #Ahmadinejad. Celebrate by sending Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer home. What a gift that would be.
Your 54th year was full of lost opportunities. Hope in your 55th year you will open #Iran to a different relationship with the world.”
Maybe I missed something but what, exactly, is offensive about the message? He says send the wrongfully accused hikers home. He says that Amaboodyjihad missed opportunities last year and hopes he will do better this year. What’s wrong with that? It would have been bad I suppose if he had written, “Happy B-Day Mo-Mo, did you get the leg-o-lamb I sent see you at the Casaba Tuesday big hoedown”
