This is funny?Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart bashed America and mocked patriotic conservatives in one of the worst rally songs of all time.
It’s a good thing Stewart is not getting paid to sing.

They truly have no idea how ugly they look. They will be humiliated on Tuesday. We will make sure of it.
Kevin W. commented:
And in Stewarts closing statement, he said, and I’m paraphrasing, “this was not mean to ridicule anyones faith or their love of country”.
Not only is he a clown, but he’s a very good liar.

Summing up the ‘Rally to Restore Sanity’ in a single photograph | Washington Examiner

Crowd photo from the Washington Monument.

Solid crowd for the three blocks permitted, but foreshortening caused by the telephoto lens during the Mythbusters “wave” made the crowd look like it stretched all the way to the Washington Monument (it made the folks on the paths crossing the grass look like a solid mass of people.)
I now think that the total area covered is slightly less than that covered by the Beck rally.
So whatever number they end up reporting, Becks was a little bigger.

When die-hard LibTard Obama sycophants like Leibowitz start whining that we should all just come together, then YOU KNOW they’re about to take a massive beating in the upcoming elections.
When libtards want to make nice, they are about to get stomped.

Boy is the fraud getting booed!!!!!!
Where’s his pointed ears? Back edge! Where’s the scar on the right side of his chin? The mole looks awfully light today!
I turned the sound on mute when he came on and as I was staring at his face I noticed an irritation on his face and turned the sound on….low and be hold he was being booed again! Gotta love it! Yes, he is not funding Aids as it should be and they are telling him so! Give him hell! Of course he will make a joke of it!

The Stewart/Colbert Shark Jumping Contest showed Saddam Hussein’s former interrogators how to make someone’s life miserable for a couple hours. If they played tapes of this crap at Gitmo the Human Rights Watch would protest.
And what’s with all the lame white hipsters? Is Comedy Central’s demographic racist or something?
Huckleberry commented:
Follow the bouncing dorks. Their studio laugh track wouldn’t be able to save these clowns. Don’t forget kiddos, trash day on Tuesday.

Remember the famous cliche, “eat, drink, be merry, for tomorrow we die!”
the socialists last hurrah before they get decimated by the teanami on Tuesday! Let’em have their fun, on Wednesday morning, they’ll be crying/whining or whatever else they’ll do to mourn the loss of their planned utopia.

Can’t tell much from these pix, because of the dark print on the one photo from above, and the very close cropping and low angle from the rest. Also, the one high photo doesn’t seem to have the breadth of the ones from the Beck rally.
To have a number comparable to the Beck rally, the crowd has to fill the whole mall, and flow out to the side, beyond the line of trees.
The Biz of Life commented:
Glad I missed this bore-fest. When you get two clowns together who believe in nothing other than making fun of other people all you can expect to get is crap like this.
Chkyn Fryd commented:
Valerie – the “Malkin” style estimate, the one they did themselves, was 150,000 participants. Not bad for 1 hour on cable v. Beck’s 1 cable hr. plus 3 hrs of radio, books, stage productions, live shows,…
Not bad funny men.
Valerie commented:
If they did it right, they skewered the excesses from BOTH sides.

Stewart is funny, but Colbert, Behar, Letterman, Whoopi, Cho,what is it with the left and unfunny comics?
jenny commented:
I watched most of this and frankly I’m having trouble getting bent out of shape about it either way. It was a production of Comedy Central Network, i.e. a 2 hour comedy show. If they intended to mock, it failed; if they intended it to be funny it failed; if it was intended to be patriotic . . . eh! They did give attention to the excesses of fear spread by the media which was a good thing. Most of the ‘material’ was just marginally amusing at best.
It was a beautiful day in Washington, with a free show on the mall, the crowd seemed to enjoy it. It was far from anything hilarious, memorable, moving, or politically remarkable; and really not worth much more time, attention, or comment.
RickS commented:
Well, I did see one black person in the audience. Other than that, some of the members of the band were black. But really an enormous number of white people. These people are racists.
Andreas K. commented:
Stewart’s speech in the end showed that he’s just an idiot. And not funny at all. Oh yeah, the moderates. People without balls, without spine, without principles. The same “moderates” who have driven Europe into the ground! We are where we are thanks to the moderates.
Restoring sanity in DC?
There is only one way.
Arrest all congressmen, all senators, all members of the government and the president too. Then put them on trial.
Radical?
Maybe so, but let me remind you of this little bit:
“Truth is irrelevant, because statements with a factual foundation can still be illegal.” Tom Schalken, Dutch judge on the farce that was called the “trial” of Geert Wilders.
The truth is outlawed when the political aristrocracy decides so.
Orwell was right.
And the only way to remove such a system is to burn it to the ground.
AuntieMadder commented:
We should be ashamed of ourselves for letting leftards dupe us into comparing Comedy Central’s outdoor entertainment show to Beck’s political and/or American patriotism rally.
Comedy Central organized and advertised the hell out of a comedy and music concert. To use the taxpayer funded space, the event organizers simply had to include the name “America” in the name of the concert. Admission to the concert was free of charge because there is no rental charge for the taxpayer funded venue, as opposed to concerts held in football stadiums and sports arenas, etc., and the event’s minor celebrity and/or has-been entertainers were more than willing to work for little or nothing more than the free and much-wanted publicity.
Comedy Central organized a well advertised, admission-free and, for many attendants, free transportation included, comedy concert, not a political rally. That Comedy Central strictly prohibited filming at the event only further confirms that this was a comedy show held at a taxpayer-funded venue and not a political rally. The – ahem – entertainment at today’s comedy concert is the property of Comedy Central, hence Comedy Central’s right to prohibit filming. Comedy Central owns the distribution rights to any and all portions of today’s comedy concert. Filming and distribution of recordings of the speeches given and songs sung at political rallies are not prohibited; they are not the property of any entity(s).

If 2 black men got on stage in white face, and did a skit that ridiculed conservative patriotic Glen Beck fans , it would be seen as a role reversal of the old racist minstrel shows. Colbert and Stewart don’t have to paint their skin white, but their mockery minstrel show is on the same rude level as Vernon & Ryan …. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfiNT6AKG0s

Corky the Clown and Bozo wasn’t viewed by many people.
Saturday viewing is dominated by College Football, along with people going out and enjoy the nice weather before the cold stuff moves in. As well as people doing some early Christmas shopping, and/or trying to get things done around the house.
By tonight, the majority of those in attendance at the clown rally will be drunk watching the World Series, and/or drunk at a Halloween party. Sunday they will be watching the NFL, the World Series, and/or getting drunk at a Halloween party.
By Monday, they will have forgotten about the Viacom produced clown rally, as they head back to class, and then watch Monday Night Football.
