Ahmadinejad: Promise of God Is "The Enemies of Our Nations Will Go One Day"

Hugo Chavez and his “brother” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told reporters today that, “The enemies of our nations will one day go. It is the promise of God.”
Reuters reported:
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told his Venezuelan counterpart on Wednesday they would defeat their common foes, the latest defiant salvo against Western countries that he says are failing in their attempts to isolate Iran.
At the end of a two-day visit, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez condemned military threats against Iran which the United States and Israel have said they could strike to prevent it getting a nuclear bomb.
The visit by Iran’s long time ally comes a week after Ahmadinejad received a warm reception in Lebanon — home to the militant Shi’ite group Hezbollah. Both diplomatic events are partly aimed to show Washington that Iran still has friends around the world who are willing to confront U.S. interests.
“I should use the opportunity to condemn those military threats that are being made against Iran,” Chavez told a news conference in which the two leaders called each other “brother”.
…”If one day, my brother Mr Chavez and I and a few other people were once alone in the world, today we have a long line of revolutionary officials and people standing alongside each other,” he said.
“The enemies of our nations will go one day. This is the promise of God and the promise of God will definitely be fulfilled,” said Ahmadinejad in a comment likely to be seen by Israel as a threat from someone who has often said the Jewish state will one day cease to exist.

Wow. I was one of those who predicted this.
We have been training and arming our enemies with some of the best tactics and munitions known to man.
“Iraq”, and “Iran” were drawn on a map by the INFIDEL. They’re getting along now, isn’t that nice? Peace at last. Now the Ummah can FOCUS. On what the Ummah tends to FOCUS on.
They’re smiling in that pic, like two who just won the Big Game. They know that the Great Satan just armed and equipped and taught and trained their armies – those of the Ummah – and is also giving them vast amounts of financial aid. They also know that their “man” in OUR White House is the fourth compadre, missing from these pics. They know, and are gleeful, that their man is dismantling America, her institutions, her sovereignty, her laws, her very integral foundations, while abandoning her allies and even Israel.

Isn’t it great how we trained up their army like that, and, at the same time, helped all the nations of the Ummah to get along and WORK TOWARD COMMON GOALS?

Alexander Vershbow, the assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs, said the United States had discussed the matter with Israel, and concluded that it would not undercut Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region.
The United States has also flagged concern about Iran’s growing missile capabilities and has been quietly helping Arab states boost their missile defenses.
That includes the expected sale of the THAAD missile defense system manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corp to the United Arab Emirates. Similar talks are underway with Saudi Arabia.
