1,078 Articles Written About Obama's Philly Speech – Only One Mentions A Book Was Hurled at His Head …Update: Make That 2 Media Outlets

Hmm.
There were 1,078 articles today written about Barack Obama’s speech today in Philadelphia.
Only one article, written by Britain’s Daily Mail, mentioned that a book was tossed at his head.
It narrowly missed him.
Once again, it took the British press to report on this incident.

And the AP also didn’t mention that a streaker was arrested at the rally today, too.
Either our media is even more corrupt than we thought or the Daily Mail has the story wrong.
Would they really hide this from the American public?
UPDATE: Make that 2 media outlets reported on the book.

I don’t believe this happened. Nothing on Drudge, nothing on Fox. Nothing anywhere. The JournOList media would love to report this because no matter who threw it, it would be a TEA Party member until they were forced to admit it wasn’t, but then the story would be out there. Typical JournOList trick. So I think this story is bogus.

I do believe this happened because there is a picture of the streaker – smack dab in the middle of the top of the Drudge front page with the headline ‘Final Streak: Vote 2010″.
And by the way, most of those 1087 articles are likely simple republications of the same one AP article.

b) The Daily Mail has the story wrong.
Answer a) is correct regardless of whether answer b) is correct.

It actually is a visual that the progressive media needs to keep suppressed: showing the President in dialectic, forceful opposition to the signification of reason, knowledge and education, will certainly cause further erosion in the educated electorate. “Book vs. Obama” is a terrible frame.
Then again, I’m not confident the administration’s message management team has any competence left. Going from the absolute genius of the campaign effort to the utterly dismal administration program, we’ve seen ineptitude that has permitted the President to be associated with violent, New Black Panthers with billy clubs and militia uniforms and “Let’s smash up some Jew storefront” boots. Combine that with the worst-of-the-worst nonstop golfing and vacationing imagery that communicates a modern day Czar Nicholas II partying in excess unimaginable to the middle and lower class, and you’ve got flatlined presidency.
It’ll be interesting to see if the current Ministry of Information incompetents can keep this out of the cycle or not. Probably will serve as a good gauge as to the state of their media control going into the home stretch on the mid-terms.

If you watch the video the book or pamphlet was thrown up on the stage and it really didn’t look that close to his head. It looks more like someone just tossed it up there. As for the naked guy, he does have something written on his stomach, probably a website since it ends in .com.

Of course if true, and a book was used, that might suggest a liberal, given their unflinching believe that the Right is book-shy.

No, this picture is authentic and there are other pictures in the series. The white line around an object at 350X is a product of the mathematical formula used to blow it up. Means nothing.

Seems like Reuters and AP are the only ones generating reports and the news outlets just pick up whatever AP puts out. I get most news from telegraph.uk. They reported the Hal Lewis resignation over climategate. Didn’t find anything in the dinosaur media on that either.

If indeed a book was thrown, it was completely wrong. No one should get away with throwing anything at a President. And we should not lower ourselves to celebrating like the Leftist animals did when Bush had shoes thrown at him. God knows I can’t stand Obama but he IS the President and he MUST be safe.

@MarkAdams, there is video of the incident. The book is thrown at about the 0:38 mark. It happens very quickly, but yes, someone did indeed do it.
And if you cock your head to the right a little, you see what looks like a coiled Gadsen Snake on the back cover above the barcode!
