Far Left Democrat Alan Grayson Gets Caught Lying–
Awful Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson of Florida is falsely accused his opponent of evading the Vietnam War draft, claiming “he doesn’t love this country.”
Republican candidate Daniel Webster didn’t “refuse the call to service,” as claimed in a vicious TV ad featuring pictures of military graves and the sound of “Taps” being played on a bugle. In fact, the former Florida Senate majority leader was given routine student deferments until he completed his undergraduate degree. He then reported for a military physical and was disqualified for medical reasons.

Speaking of libtardocrats, Steny Hoyer was on Fox this AM. Hoyer was pulling the whiny we inherited this stuff, but Wallace pointed out he had a majority for 2 years. I have yet to hear anyone challenge them with the fact that they had a majority for the last two years of the Bush presidency.

The linked story doesn’t appear to have all the facts correct. 1Y is a classification that you get when you are in the guard or reserves – currently serving in the armed forces other than active duty.
As a ready reservist I had a 1Y deferment from January 1963 to 1967 when I accepted a commission in the USAF. As the article said, 4F was the deferment for medically unfit.

Grayson has been running this ad for about two months. Tonight, Sunday, Sept. 26, I saw it twice. He has a massive amount of money to run his smears. And he is not, obviously, capable of shame or honor. So he is not going to stop running it because it is a false smear; that is the reason he is running it. It’s his nature. He’s a scumbag.

I bet you there was no draft when Grayson turned 18. So the pot shouldn’t be calling out the the pot. As long as Webster doesn’t make any claims about serving in Vietnam when he didn’t why bring it up. But then again it is always the progressives saying do as I say not as I do.
