Dozens of St. Louis volunteers turned out Tuesday night to attend the “Gateway to November” pre-rally training session at the regional tea party Liberty Headquarters in St. Louis City.

More bad news for liberty-sucking Democrats, radical leftists and progressives…

LIBERTY HEADQUARTERS GRAND OPENING
New Non-Partisan Center will Help Drive Voter Turnout on November 2nd
St. Louis, MO (September, 9th, 2010)- As post-Labor Day election efforts begin in earnest, a coalition of local grassroots leaders and St. Louis Tea Party Activists are joining together with American Majority Action to open the St. Louis Liberty Headquarters in St. Louis, MO on September 14, 2010 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The St. Louis Liberty Headquarters is located at 4512 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63119 and will serve as a hub of grassroots activity in St. Louis for the remainder of this election season.
“We are excited to have the chance to partner with tea parties and 912 organizations across the United States. They are the ones leading the charge. They are the ones impacting their cities and states. We view our role as facilitating and meeting a need,” said Drew Ryun, president of American Majority Action. “We are convinced that this effort will provide the resources and infrastructure for citizens to make a dramatic difference this fall. Our goal is to partner with grassroots conservatives and restore the principles of limited, responsible government both in Washington and at state capitols across the nation.”
St. Louis Tea Party activists Bill Hennessy and Dana Loesch will be available for comment during the grand opening. The Missouri Field Director of American Majority Action, Raz Shafer, will also be available for interviews during the event.
St. Louis Liberty Headquarters is one of seven Liberty Headquarters being opened around the country simultaneously, including a location in Joplin.

I give it a week before the first rock goes through the glass.
Hope they put in cameras.

How commercial. The Tea Party has reached the big times, it’s gotten organized. A reverse ACORN.
Two things.
1) You can be sure that the instant one of those sites closes shop, the left will harp all over it as a victory.
2) Beware mission creep. That which has torn apart or at least skewed many organizations can do similarly to the Tea Party organizations. It only takes a few people, and once the organization fractures, the left can easily pounce.
– I liked the idea and ability of the Tea Party better in its earlier phase, fresh, truly grassroots. But seeing this gives me serious pause.
– And I agree with the other posters… be prepared for plenty of vandalism, or at least attempts, and harrassment.

How convenient for Ed Martin for Congress. The endorsement only has travel up the same street

The zip code should be 63109 not 63119.

Thanks for the photo-op Jim! While the WH is getting my mug in the facial recognition file, I want to be sure they get the last name correct… it’s “Behr”, like “the paint people”.
But let me be clear, we’re NOT a part of that EVIL RICH corporation. We’re middle class, Christian, NRA members…working diligently to “stop the fundamental transformation of America”!

This is good. To get the vote out needs some help from a central clearinghouse. The entrenched politicians have the financial advantage, just being grassroots isn’t enough.
With all the entrepreneurs, we should expect to see innovation and creativity. YAY!

I live in New Zealand but I would love a teeshirt with that Tea Party Logo. Any ideas about where I could obtain one?

Is the Rusty Carnahan fire-bomber still in jail? I hope they have good video surveillance on this place.
