Robert Gibbs told reporters today that Obama’s latest $50 billion stimulus is not a stimulus.

Infrastructure spending isn’t a bad idea – - if the Federal Government is using the income earmarked from gasoline excise taxes to do it. That’s what we pay the tax for.
However, the treasury is empty and we must BORROW $50 billion for this boondoggle. That’s not appropriate. obama doesn’t understand any of this, but he’s a very slow learner.

before these idiots even think about spending what has become monopoly money, i want accountability for all the other money spent. what happened to the billions spent? if it wasn’t a “stimulus” what the hell was it, crack for union bosses and democrat controlled urban areas? so the obama can’t ask for a trillion dollars so he plays this game of asking for a couple of billion here and there as if no one is wise enough to catch on. crooks and liars, give them 50 billion. they better build a nice jail for themselves. in 5 to 10 years when the impact of the stimulus is really felt, these government opportunists better be preparing for long jail sentences.

I thought these projects were in the first stimulous that wasnt a stimulous. These people are so pathetic its disgusting.
If this travesty gets through which I dont think it will they should make a stipulation saying no project shall require union labor. This way the projects would be cheaper by 20% and we could do more for the money and the lippycrats cant pay off the union thugs again and again.
