Rasmussen reported:
Republican Congressman Roy Blunt now holds a 10-point lead over Democrat Robin Carnahan in Missouri’s race for the U.S. Senate.
More bad news for the radical progressives…
Roy Blunt just jumped to a 10 point lead over far left Obamacare-supporting Robin Carnahan in the Missouri Senate race.Missouri does not need another rubber-stamp for Obama’s radical agenda.
Rasmussen reported:
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Blunt picking up 53% of the vote, with leaners included. Carnahan, Missouri’s secretary of state, draws support from 43%. Two percent (2%) prefer another candidate, and another two percent (2%) are undecided.
Just over two weeks ago, Blunt held a 54% to 41% over Carnahan when leaners were part of the totals. Leaners are those who initially indicate no preference for either of the candidates but answer a follow-up question and say they are leaning towards a particular candidate. From this point forward, Rasmussen Reports considers results with leaners the primary indicator of the race.

He needs more than that to overcome St. Louis’s 11th hour rescues. The Democratic Party/ACORN machine just waits till the state results are in, looks at how many they need to throw it to the Dems and then starts manufacturing votes from 6 pm – 11pm.
If St. Louis was forced to report FIRST, Kansas City second, THEN the state-wide, it’d be a whole new ball-game. If they have to GUESS at how many votes they need, it’ll throw in a bigger uncertainty factor then they are used to having to deal with.
Just sayin’.

wanumba, St. Louis and KC report late most likely because there are way more votes to be counted there due to higher population. And we all know why those populations skew Democrat, which is why the Democrat candidate always gets a big bump when those two districts finally report. If the poll says Blunt has a 10 point lead, then that means on election night he will probably be leading by even more than that up until STL and KC report, at which point the gap will shrink but still leave him in the lead. It’s always depressing when those two districts report, like with Prop C … that 75% pro-Prop-C vote dropped down to 71% when KC and STL weighed in.

I agree with you about Rubio; we need more drilling now that we’ve shown we can plug major leaks in just 4 months?!
“Go Blunt,” or corporate Washington won’t get much bang for all the bucks they’re pumping into this campaign to tell Missourians what to think. If insider Washington, DC let’s mainstreet Washington, MO think for itself, then I guess we don’t need Bluntman anyway. Quit your whining Conservatives, get second and third jobs, and quit smokn’ that Dope.
Prop C: you leave Missouri alone, and I’ll decide for myself.
Getting rid of earnings taxes: Missouri won’t leave me alone, and you all will decide for me.
Making yourselves into the out-of-touch, can’t trust the people, one standard for you / a different standard for me, oppressive big government you warned me about: Priceless.

It’s a bad time to be a (D).
So sad.

You folks know the ACORN-Democrat playbook. Have a bunch of “voters” standing around the corner of a voting center, wait two minutes before the polls close, show up and demand to vote.
When they all can’t get in to vote due to the polls closing. They get their on-the-spot ACLU or Union lawyer, shop it to a local judge to keep the polls open, and waa-laah, instant voter fraud.
Ten points is a great lead, but don’t let up off of the gas folks, 54 days and counting.

Good job sourcing the Rubio story from anythning but an objective news source. If someone posted something here from a union trade magazine which showed most Floridians wanting to vote for someone other than Rubio (which is what this poll actually says), ya’lls heads would explode.
But this is just another Democrat perfect storm; unlucky and undiciplined.
Trolln’, trolln’, trolln’; though GOP heads are swollen; tolln’ trolln’, trolln’, Chkn Fryyyyd.
Wake em’ up, tell em’ off, straighten ‘em out, move em’ on, Chkn Fryyyyyyyyyyyy-dah!

wanumba, St. Louis and KC report late most likely because there are way more votes to be counted there due to higher population
……….
Remember the Democrats got a party hack judge to extend the St. Louis poll hours for three more hours during Ashcroft’s senate race? The Dems then bussed in 100% Democrat votes, while shocked Republicans raced to get a court order to close the polls. The polls in ST. Louis ONLY were open a hour longer than anywhere else, artifically extended by the Democrats to shove voters in the doors. PLenty of other voters would have come in to vote GOP, but for the past 100 years, the polls always closed at 6 pm, no one knew the Dems had done that.
The trick succeeded, even with one hour of extra voting, the Democrats got enough to beat Ashcroft.
So, it’s not just simple population numbers. It’s shenanigans and fraud. THere have been a string of St. Louis ACORN election fraudsters sent to prison already.
Michael Steele handily led in Maryland voting all day long, then after polls closed, 90% Black ACORN stronghold Baltimore voted practically 100% for the old white party hack, not the black guy, closing the gap, eliminating and then delivering the senate seat to the Democrats. Not a one for Steele? ‘Peculiar’ wasn’t the word.
Jim Talent was going thru the same scene in Missouri that night. St. Louis struck again.

Can you work on your fake dialect? Isn’t there a book or helpful guide that could give you the correct grammar for it? It’s so off it distracts from the points you try to make.

You’re right. This site deserves better trolls.

I suspect that there are substantial numbers of people who really dislike the pattern of voter fraud we saw in the last election. They are by no means all Republicans, either. And, the argument that cheating in the last election was somehow justified because of what happened in Florida TWO elections ago, just will not satisfy most people.
Americans do not like cheaters, especially when it comes to figuring out election results. Look around. You have more allies than you know.

The problem is, good people believe in personal responsibility. Good people make sure to get to the polls when they’re open with plenty of time to vote, or request an absentee ballot if they know in advance they won’t be able to make it, and play by the rules.
Good people don’t show up 1 minute before a restaurant closes and order a huge meal, nor do they bus in a load of people 1 minute before the polls close.
If you have to have your voting card signed by an observer from each party at the polls, then it should take a judge from each party to extend or close the polls. Yes the Dems may have driven those buses, but that judge is the one who facilitated it.
What’s the solution, though? If you’re in the door before the polls close, should you get to vote? Most people would say yes, as long as no one can get in line AFTER the poll closing time. If you make that the rule, the Dems will just make sure to unload their buses right before the poll closing time.
Elections will always be dirty in this country so long as one party hack judge can extend polling times, and as long as the government refuses to put in place a (seemingly easy to accomplish) system to track deaths and where people move to/from in order to update voting rolls. Until then, politicians had better calculate in the fraud fudge factor, because, unfortunately for good people, it’s going to happen.
