Radical leftists hurled eggs and shoes at former Prime Minister Tony Blair at a book signing today in Dublin. The violent radicals are upset about Blair’s support for the Iraq War- a victorious war that liberated 25,000,000 Muslims from a brutal dictator and created a democracy in the Middle East.

Tony Blair released his autobiography this week.

All of the profits on his book will go to an organization supporting injured British soldiers.

In an interview this week Tony Blair told the BBC that radical Islam is the world’s greatest threat today.

  1. I’m willing to bet a bunch of Muslim “youths” were in that crowd.

  2. Althought I agree there was little else to do but go into Iraq and rid the country of Saddam Hussein and his sons, Tony Blair is still a traitor to England and if he doesn’t see the error of his ways and beg God for forgiveness, may he burn in hell.

  3. As usual the FAKE “anti-war” crowd has no cross words for al qada, islamic regime of iran, hamass, hezbullah, osama bin laden, sadaam hussein and his use of poison gas on the Kurds of Halabja – because it would “counter-revolutionary”.

  4. “All of the profits on his book will go to an organization supporting injured British soldiers.”

That’s noble, but a bit late, don’t ya think Tony me boy? What about Britain’s massive national debt that you helped creating, eh?

“In an interview this week Tony Blair told the BBC that radical Islam is the world’s greatest threat today.”

    1) Not radical islam, but simply islam, islam in itself is radical, but fools like Blair don’t get it.

    2) It was Tony Blair who pushed for the disastrous immigration policies in the UK. It was Brown who started them, it was Blair. Brown just took over and made things worse. Yeah, that was actually possible, but things were already bad with Blair. The chaos we see today in the UK goes back to Blair himself.

  6. “It was Brown who started them” should read “It was not Brown who started them”

  7. “Graham defended himself as a mainstream conservative . . . .”

Maybe “in a galaxy far, far away” – but here? Two words: elena kagan. Bye-bye, lindsey, good-bye. Mind that the door knob doesn’t leave too big a dent on the back of your neck.

  8. Oops – don’t know how that happened!

  9. Its time to start shooting these protesters…budgets are strained enough globally without having the cops wasting money dealing with these losers on a constant basis.

A little target practice in an urban environment, that’s what would help the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan! Send them in!

  10. So the “anti-war” protesters throw eggs, shoes, and bottles at Tony Blair to demonstrate their opposition to war! This hypocrisy from the left I have seen over many years, and I have now grown used to it. I have yet to meet an “anti-war” agitator who was not bellicose, belligerent, strident, and aggressive in his cause. On the contrary, they have always in my experience been the most obnoxious and militant characters it has been my misfortune to meet.
What did Jesus say about the speck and the log in the eye? You hypocrites! Get rid of the belligerence in your own heart first; then and only then take a humble look at those outside.

  11. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion, of course, but I’m not sure how anyone can say — yet — that this war was worth it.

The geopolitical worth of the war will not be known for many years. And even then, what will be the criteria for measuring its worth?

What I know now is that over 4,000 Americans died and many times that number were injured, many losing limbs, sight, hearing, etc. The financial cost will be over a trillion dollars. But the first oil companies to get in the door were from China and Russia.

    Mission accomplished. God Bless America.

    Good grief.
