They must be racists…

A new poll released by Pajamas TV claims that one-third of black voters support the tea party movement.
WND reported:
A new poll released this week soundly contradicts critics’ claims that the tea-party movement is “fringe,” “white” and “racist.”
PJTV’s Tea Party Tracking Poll has monitored nationwide sentiments toward the tea party on a weekly basis since Aug. 2. The poll’s most recent reports reveal the following results:
The number of people who identify as “members” of the tea party has more than tripled over the last month alone, up to 21 percent of likely voters;
Fifty-five percent of those surveyed said they support the tea parties based on the movement’s positions on the issues;
Among the likely voters who are black, 32 percent said they would vote for a candidate backed by the tea parties.

I see a new Republican Party establishment being formed right before our very eyes…and I’m very thankful….tah-tah to the old establishment and hello a new beginning.
PS…and that’s CHANGE you really can believe in!
Khan Krum commented:
As much as I’d like to believe this, unfortunately I cannot because most polls still show that AAs still show a +90% approval rating for Allama Obama. Unless they have a Berlin Wall built in their head where on one side they have al-Bama and on the other side they have everyone else the math doesn’t add up. Do they not see that Hussein is the epitome of an anti-T.E.A. Party type?!

Let’s see what the stats are in 2012, if/when Obama runs for re-election.

Don’t buy it. He did not lose the support of a demo that supported him to the tune of 90+%. No way there was a shift that big.

Maybe support for Obama and support for the Dem machine are two different things. After all, a lot of blacks frankly admitted that they voted for TheWon not because of his experience or anything similar but solely because he was black. Meanwhile, the policies instituted by the Obama regime are hurting black people just as much as anyone else and in some ways more. Among other things, blacks have the highest unemployment rate in the country, something like twice the average.

The GOP is our natural home. If anyone ought to identify with natural law it is the descendants of slaves. As more of us have migrated to higher and higher standards of living, we see how the tyranny of a big government erodes not only the standard of living but our liberties. We see how government institutions run by democrats have destroyed the opportunity society and how it has placed huge barriers to entry in front of those we’re doing our best to help. This poll is almost a lagging indicator of where many of us are, in my experience. It may not translate into a 30% vote but I bet Democrats don’t continue to get 95% of our vote, even when Obama runs again in 2012!
Militant Conservative commented:
Obama may have created yet another unintended consequence. Distroying the monolithic hold the Democrat party has had over the black voters. Yo, black brothers, listen up. The current policies are hurting ALL Americans. Your choice is simple, your either pro America or anti-America. Pro Jobs or Pro unemployment. Pretty simple, Either the elite class runs roughshod over all of us, (They are black and white too). OR WE American’s of all colors take the power and kick the elitest butt outta office. Don’t know about you but this voter is more trusting of AMERICA than he is of the current leadership in both parties. powder is dry, fire the elites.

I am one of those blacks who support the Tea Party movement. Trust me this movement is for real. It is about conservatism. Under the Progressive Obama, black America have unemployment rates similar to Great Depression levels under FDR. I could give a rats ass about his skin tone. its his policies that cause me pause.

Both are wonderful sites.

I’m not black, but I’m happy that some people that the left claim want to help-out are seeing through the mirage. I mean, as in Los Angeles, the latinos undercut the black construction workers, and now a large block of blacks have absolutly no chance for employement. The Latinos constantly parade around and protest that they are suppressed by blacks and Whites .. The Latinos own almost all the the LA industries and Unions. It is a lie and fraud.
It is so racist in LA, I doubt the USA can achive multiculturalism. The Latinos want all whites, blacks, and Asians and Arabs to die, and die now — not later.

If those numbers are correct, November will be very unkind to the Dems.

The cool thing is when we’re together, it’s not the ‘Black Tea Party’ just the tea party. Just like the Corps, no black Marines just Marines.
Khan Krum commented:
Actually, when I was in the Corps there were light green and dark green Marines. That was it.
firstHat commented:
Those of you who have problems with the math, note that the difference is between the whole population and those likely to vote. I think this is exactly why the added push these days by the president to goad the younger voters. These are the “not likely to vote” group and he will need them if his dreams of transformation are to continue.
kato commented:
Remind me to quit paying attention to polling from PJTV. Anyone who believes that one in three blacks is going to vote tea party is seriously delusional and really shouldn’t be playing at politics.
Question: Why is every single black sh-thole in this country run lock, stock and barrel by the Democratic Party if there are so many tea-party blacks? This post is really laughable and some of you folks are incredibly gullible if you buy into it.
Tim commented:
Yes Khan we had dark greens too but there wasn’t a dark green caucus. No seperate formations, platoon dark green honor grad…
Conservative Ken commented:
I hope those numbers are genuine.
It’s so amazing to see the epiphany people have when they realize that the Founding Fathers empowered us as citizens to be stewards of the government.

How diverse is the Tea Party?
Tea Partiers Are Fairly Mainstream in Their Demographics
More blacks tea partying!
[In Michigan, I was excited because a larger number of blacks attended our six tea parties. Several were fans of my music, columns and have read my book, "Confessions of a Black Conservative." They thanked and called me courageous for speaking out. Folks, I am not courageous. My strength comes from my Faith and knowing I am on the right side.]
Interview With the Black Tea Party
[Young had driven in from South Florida with about 20 other members of the Ft. Lauderdale Tea Party, all of them black, to spread a mostly racial message at the Washington, DC rally: that more black people should join the Tea Party movement.
Several of them handed out leaflets bearing black-and-white photos of confederate flags and a lynching, and a headline: "Save Black People from Democrats Who Started KKK."
[..]
According to members in attendance, the Ft. Lauderdale Tea Party has 200-300 members, 60-70 percent of whom are black. And they’re planning to keep coming to out-of-state Tea Party rallies to stay visible and spread the message that black people have a home in a movement that, at present, is overwhelmingly white.]
of course it’s overwhelmingly white,
the whole dang country is, duh..

bg #26, somebody at National Review did a funny spoof on the “predominantly white Tea Party” mantra by writing up reports of various historical events with emphasis on their “predominantly white” participants. As though that nullified those events.
