Once again... Only a foul-mouthed lib could get away with such a blatantly racist statement and still hold down a career in the democratic-media complex.
In a segment on Friday, Bill Maher explained to his panel,
“Isn’t Obama’s big problem is that he does everything half-assed? Maybe it’s because he’s only half black. You know? It’s that, if he was a, if this, if he was fully black, I’m telling you, he would be a better president.“
So, what exactly does he mean by that? That “fully black” men kick ass? That “fully black” men are more aggressive?

“Black” in all these contexts, as well as Juan Williams’s complaint on Fox News about the extraordinarily lopsided expression of Missouri voter sentiment against ObamaCare, is clearly not about “race”. It is about ideology, a clearly socialist ideology.
And so as these expressions of “black” pile up in the mind of the public, more and more will wake up to this truth: socialists will pull any heart string and descend to any dirty trick to advance their agenda. If we think they have reached bottom with Juan William’s complaint, you haven’t seen anything yet. And that is exactly why these people must be disempowered, defunded and shown to be the frauds they are.

Obama’s problem isn’t that he is half black….or half white….it is that he is NOT 100% American whether born in the U.S. or not. He was an American citizen, and even that is up for debate because of his mother’s age at the time of his birth, and a British citizen, at birth. He is not eligible for the Office of President, and HE KNOWS IT.

This isn’t the first time Maher used this “I wish Obama was really Black” crap. This is from his show in late May of this year:

OTOH, Maher is part of the crowd that ascribes any and all criticism of BHO to racism. Even if his comment was just a joke, it does reveal, once again, the left’s habit of evaluating BHO in relentlessly racial terms. And worse, it echoes the view of many black voters who believed they were electing someone to advance a black agenda at the expense of whites.
Also, any conservative who said anything similar would be pilloried for “racism.” One radio host had to make an abject apology for using the term “halfrican.” The tone of the apology made clear that he was getting very serious flak for saying it.

I don’t disagree. Here’s what frustrates me. I see and hear these leftists co-opt the language for their benefit and it keeps conservatives at a perpetual disadvantage. For example, “tax cuts for the rich.” They then talk about our money in terms of allowing us to keep it.
When it comes to race and Obama, here’s my take. Barry was just as half black then at near 70% approval following his inauguration as he is half white today with approval just above 39%. Now you and I know that his approval has nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his, as D’nesh D’Souza, I think correctly described, his anti-colonialist world view where America is the target of his contempt.
It is decidedly unfair that you may not feel as comfortable as I do in playing with liberals and their characterizations like a cat plays with a ball of yarn. After all, are they going to call me, born to a black mother and father, with a black sister and brother, a wife and 5 black children, racist? While we can all see liberal hypocrisy in promulgating a demographic balkanization of America and indeed the world, their rules, if you accept them, don’t allow you to toy with their nonsense. Because they don’t have history, evidence or logic on their side, the left uses three devices, circular argumentation (change the subject), ad hominem attacks to change the subject and finally a charge of racism, which is supposed to end the argument or change the subject and put you on the defensive. I like Reagan’s approach, he laughed at them and pointed out the flaw in their “thinking” with humor.
