Obama's Latest Stroke of Brilliance… Let Corrupt Regimes Decide How to Spend US Aid Money

He’s so smart.
With unemployment at record levels, with the deficit skyrocketing, with the national debt piling up, Barack Obama announced a historic new development plan this week… for foreign countries. Under Barack Obama’s brilliant new development plan, corrupt regimes will decide how to spend US taxpayer-funded aid money instead of being dicatated to.
President Obama announced the plan Wednesday at the United Nations. And, of course, he calls this another historic initiative.
CNN reported:
President Barack Obama on Wednesday announced the creation of a comprehensive administration initiative devoted to spurring development efforts around the globe.
Obama calls it new U.S. Global Development Policy and says it’s the “first of its kind by an American administration.”
“Put simply, the United States is changing the way we do business,” Obama said at the summit of the U.N. Millennium Development Goals, an ambitious agenda world leaders set 10 years ago to tackle global poverty, which has grown amid the world economic recession.
The program has four approaches. One is changing the definition of development.
“For too long, we’ve measured our efforts by the dollars we spent and the food and medicines that we delivered. But aid alone is not development. Development is helping nations to actually develop, moving from poverty to prosperity. And we need more than just aid to unleash that change. We need to harness all the tools at our disposal, from our diplomacy to our trade to our investment policies,” he said.
Second, the administration is changing how “the ultimate goal of development” is viewed.
“Our focus on assistance has saved lives in the short term, but it hasn’t always improved those societies over the long term. Consider the millions of people who have relied on food assistance for decades. That’s not development, that’s dependence, and it’s a cycle we need to break. Instead of just managing poverty, we have to offer nations and peoples a path out of poverty.”
Obama said that the United States will “partner with countries that are willing to take the lead” and that the time when “development was dictated by foreign capitals has come to an end.”
This guy sure likes to blow your money.

Same stuff, different administration. The problem is that keep sending money to corrupt governments. obama wants to it the old way but call a new way.
That’s not development, that’s dependence, and it’s a cycle we need to break. Instead of just managing poverty, we have to offer nations and peoples a path out of poverty.”
I think it’s just great that obama is going to enact the “community organizer” method of raising people out of poverty, warms my heart. Chicago is a shining example of what you can do when you organize, protest, race bait, bully, extort, and intimidate all in the name of organizing. Poverty doesn’t go away but the organizer sure gets power and control.

And, foreign countries can decide how US aid will be spent, but American states can’t decide how federal dollars are spent.

Napier is right on target with this.
Don’t forget, when a responsible US administration decides to change this policy (and the next one will) we will be viewed as evil because we didn’t live up to the grand plan Obama had for us and the world.
Wait a minute! Wasn’t the UN global cooling or warming or whatever the heck it was supposed to take developing country dollars and give them directly to the “poorer” nations? Obama just did the same thing and without so much as one word of discussion about it. And if we do discuss it, we’re back to being racist rich people who don’t give a hoot about the masses. This guy is just too much!

When you de-develop a nation, you naturally have to have a place to direct the assets. It’s nice to see that the looting and destruction of the United States will be to the benefit of friendly tyrants in Kenya, Somolia, Kyrgystan and elsewhere.

I, personally am sick and tired of seeing our hard earned money being sent to other countries that are corrupt and the money goes in the pockets of the so called leaders to make them more powerful. Barry’s cousin in Kenya for one. It appears to me that Barry’s idea to distribute our wealth is only to help empower the other evil world leaders to control the people. I can agree to send food and needed items in time of disaster.

So Americans who actually EARNED the money cannot be allowed to keep it. It must be taxed away, because the government knows better than we do on how it should be spent.
But that money can be sent overseas to other countries WITH NO CONDITIONS ON IT’S USE?

So, he kills prosperity in the USA in order to build up 3rd world’s prosperity…at some point in time, USA money will dry up, just as our jobs keep drying up!
This plan has been a dream of the UN and other elite orgs. for quite some time…they always felt the USA was too rich.
So, now we have an abundance of entitlements given to anyone that is here, whether legal or illegal…no iniative to go out to find a job…and our business leaders will keep moving our jobs out of our country.

I’ve been warning people since the inauguration that Mr. Obama isn’t content to redistribute the wealth within the USA. He wants GLOBAL redistribution.
