Muslim Teen Released After Setting Off Bomb at Portland Islamic Center (Video)

The poor young Muslim teen was probably a victim of Islamophobia.
What else could possibly explain his interest in bomb-making? Aren’t most teens building bombs these days?
A Portland, Maine Muslim teen was questioned by police and released after he set off a bomb at the local Islamic Center.
WCSH6 reported:
Police say there were no injuries or damage caused by a chemical bomb that went off in a parking lot near the Islamic Society of Portland.
The bomb went off in the lot between the Islamic Society and Back Bay Grill around 8:00 PM Tuesday night. Portland Police say Islamic elders came forward to tell them that a 13 year old from the Society was experimenting and was responsible for the bomb. Another bomb was also found undetinated.

The kid was “experimenting”? What? Was this for his chemistry class? How many people build a bomb as a chemistry experiment? Oh, he’s just experimenting. BTW, there’s another undetonated (note the correct spelling) bomb somewhere out there. No biggie. He’s just “experimenting”!

Meanwhile, in the St.Louis area, a crazy guy calls a mosque threatening to burn a Quoran, and all hell breaks loose with a 7 hour stand off. To be fair, the guy was bonkers and made lots of wild threats, including the President and the North Korean leader. Ya can’t make this stuff up!

It should make people wonder. The use of the word ‘elders’ stinks. It just so happens that the Islamic Society of Portland is run by the local High School science teacher.
The characterization as “experimenting” has one begging the question . . .was the child of the “president of the Islamic Society of Portland”/science teacher at Deering High involved?
