“GATEWAY TO NOVEMBER” TEA PARTY, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri under the Gateway Arch!

St. Louis was chosen this year to hold one of three major regional rallies on Sunday, September 12th.
Sacramento and Washington DC will also hold rallies that day.

The St. Louis Tea Party officially announced the news today:

Tea Party Patriots Host 9/12 Rally to “Recycle Government” in St. Louis; One of Three Major Events Across the Country.

(St. Louis, Mo.) August 25, 2010 Thousands of Tea Party Patriots from across the Midwest are expected to converge in St. Louis on September 12, 2010 to rally in support of restoring founding U.S. principles, in protest at the size and scope of government, and in support of current efforts to repeal legislation that they believe has been forced upon them and will not deliver on its promises.

The rally will be held under the Gateway Arch with speakers and music on the Riverfront Stage. Music will begin at noon; speakers to begin at 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. KFTK 97.1 FM Talk serves as the official radio sponsor.

“Our theme this year is ‘Recycle Government’ – to repeal ObamaCare, reduce government spending, and restore the principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets that make this nation great and free,” says Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder and national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, the largest network of voluntarily affiliated tea party and 9/12 groups in the country.

One of those groups, the St. Louis Tea Party, is a co-sponsor of the event. “We’re thrilled to welcome tea partiers from across the nation to St. Louis, the very heartland of America. St. Louis supports the Tea Party Patriots and looks forward to welcoming grassroots groups from all over to the event,” says Dana Loesch, a co-founder of the St. Louis Tea Party along with Bill Hennessy.

The “9/12” rally, as its come to be known, first took place on 9/12/2009. More than 850,000 people converged on Washington, D.C. to protest out of control government spending, the erosion of personal liberties, and the bailouts of troubled industries. This year, the “9/12” rally will be held in St. Louis and Sacramento, CA in addition to Washington, D.C.

St. Louis participants will hear music from country music legend Sammy Kershaw; former American Idol contestant Krista Branch; Neil E. Boyd, winner of America’s Got Talent and St. Louis diva Kim Massie. Speakers will include US Congressional Representative Steve King, radio and Internet personalities, and grassroots organizers from Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, Maine, Georgia, and Washington.

A well-known Australian Muslim cleric has called for the beheading of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders, a newspaper said on Friday.

Wilders’ Freedom Party scored the biggest gains in June 9 polls and is currently negotiating to form a new minority government with the Liberals and Christian Democrats. Polls show Wilders would win a new election if one were called now.

Wilders demanded to know why he had learnt about the threat from the newspaper and not from Dutch authorities who are guarding him after a film and remarks he made angered Muslims around the world.

De Telegraaf, the Netherlands’ largest newspaper, led its front page on Friday with a story on the speech by Feiz Muhammad.

The Sydney-born Muhammad has gained notoriety for, among other things, calling on young children to be radicalized and blaming rape victims for their own attacks.

Make sure you guys do all of your research on what dates and places Michael King gave speeches. He may have given a speech in St Louis on Sept 12th one time and then you’ll be in big trouble with Al Charlatan.

I’m happy this is on a Sunday. A lot of events are on Saturdays, and for religious reasons, I can’t attend, but I will BE THERE and I hope we quadruple the estimates of how many will show up (I heard 50k on Jamie Allman’s radio show in St. Louis yesterday). Or maybe 10x that. We drew a huge number for the Cardinal’s victory parade back in 2006 after they won the World Series.

This is a bit more important. Infinitely more important (even if that’s heresy to Cardinals’ Nation fans). I hope there are huge turnouts in the 3 locations nationwide, including St. Louis. If we get good weather, you can’t ask for a more beautiful location near the Arch, which represented the move to new frontiers and real progress, not the fake and insane “progressive” agenda, but real growth and forward movement of this great country.

Instead, we are going backwards, because of the policies of the Orwellian Obama admin. and the Lefty socialist insanity of other administrations. It’s all going to come crashing down.

But we can look forward to a brighter and better America, where we again show the same grit, determination and strength it took to fan out past St. Louis and Kansas City (to be fair, both towns fight over the “gateway to the West” moniker, and both have real claims).

Looking forward to being able to be there and hope there will be those many, many thousands.

I hope that they will allow Ed Martin (St. Louis TEA Party backed candidate for Missouri’s 3rd Congressional District) a cameo appearance at this event since he was a speaker at the foot of the Arch at our first gathering.

Thank you for having this rally under the Arch. Please allow this to be an opportunity to get people registered to vote for this November. All conservatives have to counter the voter registration drive the AFL-CIO has underway.

Yeah I know they’re out at the graveyards, and stopping those crossing the border getting people registered, that’s why this is a great opportunity to get people registered to vote.

We have a number of people coming from Iowa. Looking forward to joining the St. Louis Tea Party and thousands of Midwesterners under the beautiful Gateway Arch. I traveled to Washington , D. C. last September with two busses from St. Louis–and I made 88 new friends!!! We have been watching Missouri’s
huge efforts to stop Obamacare, support our troups, and fill your political slates with true conservatives—and we applaud you!!! Thank you for hosting this great event in St. Louis so more of us can attend!!!

When he stands up for our country and our

caused someone to become paralyzed. SHARIA
law said that the perpetrator must also suffer
the same disability so they asked around until
they found a doctor that told them that he
could take care of the matter by severing the
man’s spine to cause a paralysis. The article
did not say if it had been an accident or was
deliberate. WE DO NOT WANT SHARIA IN OUR
COUNTRY Why on earth would ISLAMICS come
to our country and want us to give up our laws
to be replaced by their SHARIA?
