Ground Zero Victory Mosque Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf issued a threat to America in his interview with CNN this week.
The radical imam warned that if America did not get down on its knees and allow the victory mosque to be built on the bones of dead Americans that…
“They will attack.”

We currently have two situations that mirror each other.
First, we have the GZ mosque that “must” be built, even if it conflicts with non-Muslim sensibilities.
Second, we have a 9/11 Quran burning that will conflict with Muslim sensibilities.
Obviously, the “dialogue” that Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf speaks of is a non-starter as the sensibilities that would be at the center of these talks are seemingly to be ignored in the process of starting talks.

First of all, I listened through the clip embedded above in this post twice, and did not hear the words quoted in the post actually spoken. The clip was obviously only a portion of the interview however.
Secondly, if indeed the words are quoted accurately, it makes me reconsider the wisdom of the koran burning now being planned, in a positive way. It makes me think we should indeed go ahead and burn the damned things.
1) Their unethical expationistic pathological teachings burned 2,000 Americans on 9/11. What’s a few paper books in comparison?
2) They are at war with us, and seek to destroy our freedom around the globe. Many refuse to see that, so a little more open conflict would help them see the reality facing us.

We are at war, and our own Government finances our foes, aids their attempts to infiltrate us, and looks the other way at their threats to the American people. First and foremost their is no law for America. AG Holder’s job is to aid the President with his dismantling of our nation. The Supreme Court as been “I suspect” threaten, the slap down in the State of the Union Address was a public rebuttal, what has transpired behind close doors can only be surmised. Then Again Holder will allow very little to get into the system, except that to be is used against the opposition, Arizonan comes to mind.
I have always felt that a nuke on Mecca, Tehran, and Kabul within the first 24 hours of 911 would have far more effective use of our resources. The message would be clear, a huge portion of the Islamic leadership would have been shredded, the backlash would have been huge but understood in many quarters. Now ten years later thousands dead on both sides and a War that the President is looking to get out of with no clear victory is our reward. The fact that this President is more comfortable with those of Islam than with Christians of his own Country is suspicious at best, further implications are more frightening.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf
[Rauf said in 2003 "And we believe that 100 years more of targeted assassinations will never dry up the reservoir of young Palestinians willing to give up their lives." He then stated in 2004 that the U.S. and the West "must acknowledge the harm they have done to Muslims before terrorism can end" and that it was Christians who started mass attacks on civilians. He also said there was an endless supply of angry young Muslims ready to martyr themselves and there was no sign of the attacks ending unless there was a fundamental change in the world. Well, that doesn't seem too peaceful to me. In fact, it's the typical talk of an Islamist.
Oh - but there's more. Feisal started the Shariah Index that will rate countries’ Islamic law. He has written of his fondness for Islamic law and claimed he needs no one's permission to build the mosque in the video linked above.
He said to PBS; "So any law, anything studied in the Quran or the hadith, is definitely [Sharia],’ and “what really defines Islamic law [is] the sum total of Islamic law as has been practiced by Muslims throughout the last 14, 15 centuries.” In another PBS interview he shilled again for Sharia by claiming people often think of few penalties for certain crimes (z: those that are gruesome) and fail to consider the sum total of Islamic law. Not too comforting.
Critics claim Feisal’s father, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rauf, was a leader in the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood. Dr. Rauf was born in Egypt and moved to Kuwait where Imam Feisal was born and then he came to America where he was involved in the building of the Islamic Cultural Center on the Upper East Side, according to a 1984 New York Times article which reported “plans for the center were first announced in the mid-1960′s after organization efforts by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Libya.” Imam Feisal, his son, is a permanent trustee of the Center.
On a 60 Minutes program which aired on 9/30/2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, Imam Feisal said “I wouldn’t say that the United States deserved what happened,” — “but United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.” Rauf further stated, “because we [Americans] have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world,” it could be said that “[i]n fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.”[.]
