Don’t expect this to make any headlines. Don’t expect the radical antiwar left to hold any protests.
The United States has now lost more military men and women in Afghanistan under President Obama than during 8 years of the Bush Administration.

(I-casualties)

God bless our soldiers and Marines.

  1. We lost more than 20 service members in less than 48 hours over the weekend in Afghanistan. TheWon’s great military strategy is working SO well, isn’t it?

  2. Get Harry Reid on the line. He’ll know what to say!!

  3. Difference being…it’s not front page news like it was during GWB.

  4. Muslim outreach, restrictive ROE, medals for “restraint”, I mean for letting terrorists go to fight another day…Not qualified to run a hotdog stand and the democrats elect this man Commander in Chief with two wars raging. Don’t they ever think of what our brave troops are doing for this nation and the world??? Obama is too busy vacationing to think about what it takes to keep this nation free of Islamic fascism! Did he miss 9-11? Golfing?

  5. I am past ready for our HERO’S to come home. I’m sorry but we are fighting a losing battle. God Bless all of our love ones.

  6. Most of the country should be re-sculpted with
MOABs and The new D-7E dozers. Reduce mountains to glass panels and then Any Jack-rabbit, etc that pops up-boom. Kill all taliban members. They know who they are. Change the Rules of Engagement. Maybe Petraeus should do it and let Obama squawk. Or just say he approved it anyway, and let the chips fall. Protect our guys, Let them have bullets for their rifles and permission to use them.
Maybe we should mine roads and use IEDs on them .

Difference being…it’s not front page news like it was during GWB.

Gah! Do you remember that awful, gruesome body count they did on every single news channel every single time one of our service members died when President Bush was in office? “that makes 479!” Notice you haven’t heard that even one time since TheWon’s regime took over.

  8. What happened to Cindy Sheehan? It was not about her son it was about a republican president. Her son would be so disappointed in her. So SAD

  9. Now that Obama is in office, there are no “grim milestones” according to the MSM.

In fact, it’s all rainbows and unicorns. Didn’t you notice?

  10. Thank you Gateway for pointing this out! You’ll never here this from our Lame Stream Media.

I remember in a day how the LSM marveled in every milestone in deaths of our fighting men and women. “It’s been a 100, 500, 1000, 1500, 3000, 4000.. The meme continued on and on and on. So it’s nice to have the information.

  11. Captain Dale Goetz was killed yesterday near Kandahar. He is the first military chaplain killed in either the Iraq or the Afghanistan war. He leaves behind a wife and 3 sons. His mission was to lead soldiers to Christ.

Please remember him and the other soldiers who were killed alongside him, as well as their families.

You are correct that for Sheehan it was all about hating Bush. She’s a pathetic excuse of an American, and of a mother – she deliberately danced on her brave son’s grave in her attempts to turn the tide against Bush.

It’s not commonly known that Sheehan was an anti-war activist before her son was ever in Iraq. She had been part of anti-war, anti-conservative panels at Berkeley, one of which had Lynne Stewart participating. Stewart is the lawyer who represented the “Blind Sheik” – the Muslim brain behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Stewart was recently sentenced to 10 years in jail for acting as a go-between for her jailed-client sheik and his terrorist “associates”. She passed messages back and forth for him. She SHOULD have been tried for treason, but being in her 70s she’ll possible not see freedom again.

So, Sheehan is no pathetic figure – she’s an islamist sympathizer – as well as a panderer to any communist who’ll give her quarter, such as Hugo Chavez – whom she has visited as part of her hate-America itinerary.

Sometimes being a country of freedoms is painful, because of the scum that comes out from under the rotted vegetation of liberalism.

    MAMA WINGER!!! :)

    How wonderful to see you!!

  14. its better to have our brave men and women back home than to leave them with a feckless commander in chief.

god bless all those who put their life in harms way.

Thank you for posting the news of the chaplain’s death – it’s true, and so sad that we’d not have heard of this loss but for your posting. And, yes, he and his family will be in prayers, along with all those brave souls giving their all for us.

  16. I wonder if Odumbo has given any money to any of the charities like wounded warriors or any that helps our heroes in the military to get them help after returning home …I,ll bet not it would take away the ice cream money for him and moochelle on their 7th vacation in a month….

  17. Obama is not only accident-prone, he is also a bungler – a total failure.

  18. So you all were for victory in Afghanistan before you were against it? While all of you wanted the President to inplement Gen. McCrystal’s plan, did any of you read the friggin’ thing? THIS WAS IT.

It’s called blamestorming: Conservatives get a free pass on making the mess and the Libs get the blame both for making a mess which they didn’t and for not loving America enough to clean up the other guy’s mess up fast enough.

My apologies to the troops from both the Left and the Right. While you defended our freedoms, we exercised them by mimimizing your ability to defend us. You didn’t need another bumper sticker or concert; you needed an ORBAT which matched your limited, available resources. You all deserve better in our hands.

  19. So does Obama need a certain level of US troops deaths to gin up opposition to the war?

Think gun control and how that works with liberals.

The commander and chief and his staff set the combat parameters. Also known as rules of engagement. Bush 8 years death total is less than the NOTUS’s total due to the rules of engagement.
Plain and simple. Your Dem’s voted for the war.
I served you did not. Your speaking of what you know not. Ignorant fool. powder is dry.

  23. Bush vs. Obama score keeping is morbid. America lost all of these soldiers, and America needs to do something about it. November is a start.

  24. Do not use our soldiers’ deaths as a means to score cheap political points. After winning a decisive victory over the Taliban, the U.S. under President Bush took the eye off Afghanistan and invaded Iraq. The Taliban made a comeback because of our distraction and neglect.
