The Canadians walked out on Iranian regime president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today at the United Nations.
CTV reported:
Canadian diplomats at the United Nations have boycotted a speech by the president of Iran, a spokeswoman for Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said Tuesday.
Western diplomats, including those from Canada, have in recent years made a show of walking out on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad whenever he addresses the UN General Assembly.
Catherine Loubier, spokeswoman for Cannon, says the boycott was intended as a protest against Iran’s human rights record and controversial nuclear program.
Ahmadinejad told the assembly that capitalism is facing defeat and is calling for an overhaul of the “undemocratic and unjust” global decision-making bodies.

Today – for the second time in my life – I am ashamed to be an American. The first time was last week when this monstrous and illegitmate regime that has taken over our government went into a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council, leaving Israel to stand in the hall – the ONLY member of the UN that is forbidden from participating in most UN meetings.
That God for our neighbors to the north, who still have the guts to stand for principle. Bravo, Canada!

So how much did A’Jad pay Hussain’s peeps to make them bow before him ?
Chris commented:
Somehow, I’m not at all surprised that our delegation was instructed to keep their precious backsides glued to their seats while “I’m-a-dinner-jacket” ran off with diarrhea of the mouth about our eeeeevil, oppressive captalistichesky system.
Even more odd is that they allowed him to slam the Sacred United Nations. Surely that should have pushed them over the edge.
I guess the interia was too great to overcome.

This from the regime that sends thugs out into the streets to beat protesters and shoot them in the head.
Obama wants to deal with these criminals. He and his regime would like to emulate them.

Thank you, Canada, for doing the job that (progressive) Americans no longer want to do.

Bravo Canada.
Phuq you Hussein.
The Triguy commented:
Please remember, this is all slight of hand. His objective is to get people talking about this topic rather than all the nasty stuff he is doing. And, of course, our obedient media follows his cues exactly. After all, when you look at what he is saying and what Obama believes, is there really a difference between the two?

And on these points, Igotmyshortsinawad and al-Bama are on common ground. No wonder the US delegation didn’t walk.
Fuzzy commented:
He’s insane enough to believe that he’s going to be the next “global decision-making body.” Ha!

Canada is led by Stephen Harper, a Conservative and an Economist. If Canada had a weak-kneed liberal or social NDP in power, it would have been a different story. The moral of this story – conservatives stand for something – democrats sit down to pee.

Here in Canada, we have some significant Iranian neighborhoods, mainly made up of Iranians who fled when the Shah was deposed. One, a woman writer and well known in Canada and a Canadian citizen, went back to Iran a few years ago, was arrested by the secret police in Iran, tortured and killed. The Iranians lied about it but Canada made such a big stink and managed to get some autopsy material which showed broken bones, etc. Ever since then, luckily for Canadians, our Conservative government has treated the Iranian government like dog s**t. And Canadians are in total agreement.

This is URGENT!!! Please stop whatever you are doing and read this bill. It passed Congress and Senate is the only place it can be stopped. If Senate does not stop it, we will be totally under U.N. rule.

I hope this strikes a chord with my patriotic American friends. I am very proud of my country for this show of intelligence and strength. Not sitting still for Ahmadinejad’s lies is the right response. November 2012 cannot come soon enough.
Joanne commented:
If the Republicans take the House, they should demand Obama’s birth certificate and do an investigation into his eligibility. Obama is an usurper, so he can’t be impeached, but he can be arrested and tried for treason – him and his corrupt cronies.
Little Miss Rainbow commented:
What an absolute, shameful disgrace. Good job Canada, you guys will have to guard the cojones for North America until 2012. Obama should be impeached for this alone. Was Obama busy under the podium?

What a farce. I saw Mugabe stroll into this sham of a UN meeting – smug and complacent. The UN and so-called “human rights” are a joke. A macabre, bizarre joke. Mugabe & “Dinner jacket” are peas in a pod. They know how to manipulate the pathetic liberals and bleeding hearts. Their rhetoric is sounding exactly the same. Warning the US not to “interfere” in their country’s internal affairs. In other words – they must be given free rein to kill, maim, butcher, imprison, without any pesky interference. It’s like a sadistic rapist, in mid attack, telling any would-be saving hero, to “Move along – this does not concern you”. Pure evil.

Take heart, my dear neighbours. The U.S. delegation did walk out.
And so did member of the European Union.

And technically, the Canadians didn’t “walk out”. They boycotted it altogether.
Louise commented:
And BTW, when are you folks going to kick that monstrosity on Turtle Bay out of the continent and keep your money at home?
Brianna commented:
Our delegation actually walked out too. Just not to start with. But thank God they at least walked out.
Vickie commented:
Thank you Canada. We hope to have a new President soon that will reinforce our common disdain for the Iranian regime instead of appeasing the Iranian punk.
Lane commented:
I am not sure this article is correct. Other articles are reporting , as well as other news outlets, that the US delegates also walked out on the Iranians speech.
Louise commented:
The article is correct, Lane. It’s published in the Canadian media. There are other articles published in the American media that make no mention of anyone other than the American delegation. I read a list somewhere, yesterd. A total of 33 nations either walked out or boycotted Iamadinnerjacket’s speech.
