ALLEN WEST Takes Lead Over Lib Dem Klein in US House Race

More good news for conservatives…
Conservative Allen West took the lead over liberal Ron Klein in the latest Wilson Strategies survey.
Republican 22nd Congressional Candidate Allen West leads Incumbent Ron Klein 48% – 42% in a survey conducted by Wilson Research Strategies on September 20-22, 2010.
“While we are encouraged by our latest poll results, our campaign to restore honor, integrity and character to Washington is just getting started,” said LTC(R) Allen West. He continued, “I will continue to press on, and take our message of smaller government, constitutional values and principled leadership directly to the citizens of the 22nd Congressional District. The only poll that matters is the one that will come out on the evening of November 2nd.”
West has increased his Name ID to 82% throughout the Congressional district and has a favorable to unfavorable rating of 39% to 27%. Ron Klein now has a 1-1 favorable to unfavorable ratio, with 41% viewing him favorably and 38% unfavorably.
Among Independents – a key group crucial to victory in November – LTC(R) West holds a 52% to 36% lead.
Nearly two-thirds of the Congressional District (63%) believe that our country is heading in the wrong direction, and Republicans lead 47% to 34% on the generic ballot.
“With nearly 13% unemployment and the 3rd highest foreclosure rate in the country, South Floridians are sick and tired of politics as usual,” said Allen West for Congress Campaign Manager, Josh Grodin. “Klein has decided to engage in character assassination instead of talking about the issues that are affecting every American family. Clearly, this is not working.”

Col West’s district is up the road from us, our FL tea party people are doing what they can to help him out.
He is a class act, if you have a few dollars you don’t need why not give him a look.

I have met MANY politicians in the last 18 months; LtCol. West IS Reagan’s successor for the soul of the conservative movement. He has the tremendous intellect, wit, bearing, humor and sense of self necessary to carry the mantle.

This is important you read this comment. I heard the Col on the radio yesterday. His opponent, Dem Ron Klein, is the one who released West’s social security and his wife’s Federal ID number to the public. Klein was showing that Col West had a tax lien in 2005 for, I think $11,000, and illegally distributed West’s SS# and wife’s ID number on public flyers.
Here are the important facts not advertised in the media:
1. Col West was serving our nation in combat in Afghanistan during this time period.
2. When Col West returned home about 4 months later he settled the tax lien. All of this occurred in 2005.
3. Col West is an everyday hardworking American, and a US veteran. He lives in a middle class neighborhood.
4. Klein lives in a multi-million dollar gated community. Does this matter? Well if you lie to people all day and pretend to be a defender of the poor and middle class then yes, it does matter. When you commit illegal acts like deliberately releasing private data on private citizens you are a scumbag.
I’m not from Florida but I wish I was for this vote. Klein you are a spineless coward.
And Col West–God Bless. Keep up the hard work. It matters.

West has been honored many times, including a Bronze Star, three Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals (one with Valor), and a Valorous Unit Award. So go ahead and attack his character and watch as the voters slap you down for it come election day.

I know you’re defending West, but you shouldn’t have to do that. Everyone knows, Mark, that people get behind on their bills sometimes, even their taxes. Getting caught up on them again, fines and late fees and all, well, as far as I’m concerned, that fixes it and it’s a non-issue. It’s too bad everyone doesn’t see it that way.

Looking at the date of this lien I can almost bet I know how he got behind. In 2003 he was sent home from Iraq and faced charges of inappropriate behavior while he was over there. He faced up to 7 years in the brig. The charges were eventually dropped, but he had big legal fees to pay. I bet this is why he went to Afghanistan as a consultant. It was to raise the money to pay of what he owed. This is the kind of man he is. He would not be able to live with himself owing anyone money so he put himself back in harms way to make the money to pay off his debt. Allen is the most honorable man I have ever met and I can’t wait to get him to Washington!
Ron Klein is desperate and so he should be! His campaign ads on TV as despicable. Not once do they speak to the issues of the day. It is all about going after Allen personally. Hi8s days are numbered and I can’t wait for Nov 3rd.
