WaPo Credits Bloggers Spencer and Geller For Driving Movement Against Ground Zero Victory Mosque

The Washington Post today credited bloggers Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs and Robert Spencer from Jihad Watch for driving the movement against the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. Congratulations to these two great conservatives, and friends, for their hours of work organizing against the New York monument to radical Islam.

Congratulations also to Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer for helping organize the Ground Zero bus campaign that recently hit the streets of New York. It asks the essential question, “Why there?”

I think a lot of questions need to be asked and answered.
The dems are crying freedom of religion. Can a Christian pray at a football game?
Can a city or state on private property erect a Nativity scene?
Can a Christian pray outside an abortion clinic?
Can A Christian mention the name of the LORD in a commencement speech?
Can a Christian hand out tracts at a muslim gathering?
There are just so many questions we need to ask those that are now crying freedom of religion! Kind of convenient wouldn’t you say!

Their popularity is rising because people know the truth when they see it and because they’re craving for someone to finally take a stand and speak out. Robert Spencer in particular is expecially inspiring with both his extremely extensive knowledge of Islam and with his immense courage (yes, courage) to publicly speak about and expose the very ugly and very politically incorrect truth about how inherently barbaric and fascistic Islam really is. It’s so refreshing to come across public speakers and bloggers who don’t regurgitate the same patently false talking points about Islam being a tolerant and peaceful religion that’s really not all that different than Christianity.
I used to be as far left as you could possibly be. And I thought, like most people, that anyone who said anything negative about Islam was just some Bible thumping redneck nutjob. But then I started reading right-wing literature in general and when I became curious about learning more about Islam I started reading the works of conservative Islamic scholar Bernard Lewis. I then realized that Islam was actually far worse than those supposed “redneck nutjobs” warned me about. I highly suggest anyone else on here do the same – especially liberals.
Research Islam in-depth before you just automatically dismiss people like Spencer as crackpots. I bet you’ll be extremely surprised about what you find out. Oh and type in “Robert Spencer” into youtube and watch one of his many lengthy and very fascinating lectures. You’ll see that he isn’t the “ignorant” and “bigoted” neo-nazi that the left protrays him as. Read his books and blog as well. He’s pure gold when it comes to understanding Islamofascist ideology.

I have seen Pamela on Fox. She speaks with the passion of a femenist but for a positive agenda. She does not allow the muslim apologist to bully the convertsation and talk over her remarks . Pamela does very well in live debates where two people talk at the same time. Her responses are instantaneous in a tone of voice that cuts through blathering.

Pamela and Robert have both worked tirelessly to get this information to the public, and we owe them both a great debt of gratitude. I’ve been reading Pamela’s blog for a couple of years now, and I have truly learned a lot about Islam.

It’s quite possible some may not understand the meaning to Muslims of Cordoba Center. Start your quest for knowledge with examining the history of Córdoba Spain and the Islamic Caliphate, circa 711 AD forward.

Just because Geller is louder and more shrill than most doesn’t mean she is more influential. It is not specifically “Jewish” to oppose mosque building; it is intrinsically American to do so. Spare me the comments about the bikini; she gets off on that and has an overlarge ego already. Don’t overlook in addition to the fine work these folks and those who help at their websites do, the courage and conviction of converts from Islam: Walid Shoebat and Nonie Darwish. And Wafa Sultan is so energetic, self-effacing and endearing while speaking so passionately that I just want to hug her (she reminds me of the tiny female firecrackers in my own Italian-American family).

Thank God (the true One) for this “controversy”. I have been reading up on Islam since 9/12/2001 and have often felt alone wondering if no one else was the least bit curious about “why they want us dead”. I was so appalled by how many of my fellow Americans are clueless as to the true meaning of basic Islamic Arabic terms or lulled themselves by hugging delusions of a phantom peaceful Islamic ideology to their breasts. I must say as a Roman Catholic, some members of my own Church were the worst on that score. Fr. Rutler, Bishop Gassis of Sudan and Cardinal Pell notable exceptions. The first two having had up close experiences with the violence and death that is jihad; Rutler at Ground Zero on 9/11 and Bishop losing 2 million fellow black African Sudanese to Khartoum’s madness.
