The board members of Keep America Safe, Liz Cheney, Bill Kristol and Debra Burlingame announce the release of “We Remember,” an ad featuring first responders and family members of the victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 who are speaking out in opposition to the proposed Ground Zero Mosque. to "spread Islam right from the WTC rubble."
Now, let us have some glimpse over the
funders and backers of this mosque project.
According to information, a scholar and charity head appointed to
President Obama's White House Fellowships Commission is closely tied
to the Muslim leaders behind this proposed controversial Islamic
cultural center to be built near the site of the Sept. 11 attacks. The
White House fellow, Vartan Gregorian, is president of Carnegie Corp.
of New York.
Gregorian also serves on the board of the Sept. 11 Memorial and
Museum. The museum is reportedly working with the American Society for
Muslim Advancement, whose leaders are behind the mosque, to ensure the
future museum will represent the voices of American Muslims.
"[The Sept. 11 museum will represent the] voices of American Muslims
in particular, and it will honor members of other communities who came
together in support and collaboration with the Muslim community on
September 11 and its aftermath,” stated Daisy Khan, wife of the
founder
of the society and chairman of the of the Cordoba Initiative, Imam
Faidal AbdulRauf Khan, and executive director of the society.
The future Sept. 11 museum’s oral historian, Jenny Pachucki, is
collaborating with the society to ensure the perspective of American
Muslims is woven into the overall experience of the museum, according
to the museum’s blog.
Daisy Khan’s husband, Feisal Abdul Rauf, is the founder
of the society as well as chairman of Cordoba Initiative.
With Gregorian at its helm, Carnegie Corp. is at the top of the list
of society supporters on the Islamic group’s website. Carnegie is also
listed as a funder of both of the society’s partner organizations,
Search for Common Ground and the United Nations Alliance of
Civilizations. Gregorian was a participant in the U.N. body’s first
forum, as was Rauf.
Rauf is vice chairman on the board of the Interfaith Center of New
York, which honored Gregorian at an awards dinner in 2008.
Gregorian, born in Tabriz, Iran, served for eight years as a president
of the New York Public Library and was also president of Brown
University. He is the author of “Islam: A Mosaic, Not a Monolith.”
According to a book review by the Middle East Forum, Gregorian’s
book “establishes the Islamist goal of world domination.”
A chapter of the book, “Islamism: Liberation Politics,” quotes
Ayatollah Khomeini: “Islam does not conquer. Islam wants all countries
to become Muslim, of themselves.”
Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, is quoted stating
it “is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose
its laws on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

The 61-year-old Imam said he paid $4.85 million for it — in cash,
records show. With 50,000 square feet of air rights and enough
financing, he plans an ambitious project of $150 million, he said.
Most US mosques, including many in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx are
funded directly or indirectly by Saudi Arabia the country to which 15
of the 19 hijackers who bombed the World Trade Center belonged. The
UAE, Qatar and Iran are other major sponsors across the USA.
The source of money matters: a significant part of the hundreds of
mosques being built and already erected in this country double up as
cultural Islamic centers for distributing literature– Islamist
propaganda in fact—from Bay Ridge Brooklyn to Detroit, and for
schooling growing Muslim minorities. They house Imams of unknown
origin and education, many of whom do not speak a word in English but
preach in Arabic and Urdu — radical messages, it often turns out.
While Imam Faisal is gradually moving ahead with his master plan of
constructing the Mecca of Islam in NYC, unknown patrons are continuing
to put huge amount of cash in gradually having a strong Islamist grip
over world media.
In United Kingdom, newspapers like Islamic Times, The Muslim News, The
Muslim Weekly, or radio stations like Radio Apni Awaz, Radio Dawn or

What the Muslims are showing is an atrocious lack of compassion and understanding for the 9/11 families and Americans who are still hurt and wounded over what happened to our country by radical Islamists. There is no tolerance for opposing views. It’s all about them. If Muslims really want to reach out and make an effort to get along, they will stop this project and move it elsewhere. Great message – but it will make no difference. The backers of the Cordoba Mosque know EXACTLY what they are doing – hence the original name. Cordoba, a city in Spain, was the capital of Moorish Spain and the seat of the Caliphate. Cordoba! has been a rallying cry for muslims trying to return the Caliphate to power for some time.
Meanwhile, lets be real here. If the state of New York GAVE state land to ANY religious group for any reason at all, the taxpayers would and should have a bloody fit. Nothing quite so clearly violates the separation of church and state.

I have thought about just walking in to a Mosque – but, I have to admit I do feel more than a bit intimidated.

After 9/11 it has been said in many articles that the Koran/Islam does promote the idea that infidels (people who do not accept Allah) should be killed. Is this true? "Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their belief systems.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that’s the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?”
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, “Non-believers!”
I responded, “So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?”
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, “Yes.”
I then stated, “Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!”
The Imam was speechless.
I continued, “I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?”
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the ‘Diversification’ training seminar were not happy with Rick’s way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim’s beliefs.”
In America, where the ideal citizen is the one who accepts and/or promotes tolerance, diversity and freedom of thought, is it accurate to say that Islam does not promote these values?

I commend the effort that you have undertaken in order to find the real story. However I think to understand what exactly Islam is, you should try to study Quran yourself. The reason is the fact that what Muslims exhibit does not necessarily elaborate what Islam preaches. I can also understand the fear of walking into a mosque. I just hope that this world becomes a better place for all.

I am of the opinion that this is a misunderstood interpretation amongst Muslims and non-Muslims alike. For instance, the other parts of Quran, which talk about religious freedom and honoring lives of other souls are completely ignored both by Muslims and non-Muslims when understanding Quranic teachings on the subject matter.

It is unfortunate that the actions of Muslims have often been thought of as what Islam itself is. What a group of Muslims does is not what Islam necessarily preaches. Islam should be understood by the doctrines it preaches, which are contained in Quran.
Islam is against killing of a single soul without justice; it completely detests killing innocent people whether they be Muslims or otherwise. Quran has addressed this thus,
… مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا …
… whoever slays a soul, unless it be for murder or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew entire mankind; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept entire mankind alive; … (Quran 5:32)
With respect to infidels, my belief is that this word is a synonym for the word ‘Kaafir’ in Quran with respect to the question under discussion. If that is the case, it needs to be said that non-believers who live in the age of messengers of God are a different class and category than non-believers otherwise. It is for this reason that in the history of mankind, whenever a messenger of God came to a nation, he proved his messenger ship clearly and plainly to his nation so much so that they had no confusion about him being a bearer of truth. As a result, those people who, after having known the truth, still denied the messenger were passed on a judgment in this world by the Almighty. In case of polytheists, this judgment was in form of their annihilation, for example the great flood on Noah (pbuh)’s nation when those who rejected his message were drowned. A similar fate was decided by the Almighty on the people of Lot (pbuh), Abraham (pbuh), Salih (pbuh) and other messengers.
It needs to be understood in this context that at the end of the mission of Muhammad (pbuh) when God, in his absolute Knowledge, knew that those who were rejecting faith were not rejecting because they had any confusion with regards to it, rather they were rejecting out of mere arrogance and pride, He commanded Muslims to slay down those ‘infidels’ from amongst the polytheists. The Jews and Christians, on the other hand, because they belonged to monotheistic faith, were to be fought against until they became politically subservient to Muslims. This was done after providing both the idolaters and the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) sufficient time to understand whether Muhammad (pbuh) was a real messenger of God and the message he brought forward was actually the message from God.
This is God’s law specific to messengers as I have explained above. Since a messenger of God is not living with us anymore, and we do not know that which is in the hearts of people, we cannot call them ‘infidels’ and commit such acts. In a time such as today, every soul must continue to strive to find the truth and live by it.

What Muslims seem to consider the bottom line of the Quran and for them to define “infidels” at best “is by one’s interpretation”. Well 9-11 was clear as a bell. It was black and white. It did not require interpretation. We got it. They want us dead. They rejoiced afterwards. They danced in the streets. I don’t think the Pope would let the Satin into the Vatican for tea, I don’t think a Rabbi would allow Satin into the Synagogue. I know my Greek Priest would not allow Satin into our church. So will someone explain to me why we are allowing these killers into America? How many Christian Churches or Jewish Temples are in Afghanistan? In Saudi Arabia? And if there are any there, can people enter them freely and not worry for their lives? I think not.
To my Gay friends. Some of you seem to want to allow these Mosques with open arms, I think you had better hear how Gays are treated by them. Women, if you think these are nice people, look at how they treat women.
I believe in the Constitution with all my heart. But when the so called freedom of religion is a religion whose goal is to kill every last American in their effort to get to heaven, I don’t think the Founders would allow it in our country. They would be arrested and held in prisons or deported back to their country. I don’t recall the Founders inviting King George III over for Thanksgiving. There is something called good sense, common sense, logic.
