Palin's "Miracle on Ice" Miller Leads RINO Murkowski in Alaska Primary… Quayle Wins in AZ

Sarah Palin tweeted last night – This may be Alaska’s “Miracle on Ice.”

Candidate Joe Miller is leading RINO Lisa Murkowski in the Alaskan GOP Senate Primary. The results may not be known for a week.
The New York Daily News reported:

Moderate Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski is trailing in Alaska’s Senate primary — though the final results likely won’t be known for over a week.

Murkowski, who was thought to be a shoo-in against Sarah Palin-backed challenger Joe Miller, is behind by approximately 2,500 votes with 84% of precincts reporting.

If Murkowski falls, she’d be the third incumbent Senator to lose so far this year — following Republican Bob Bennet and Republican-turned-Democrat Arlen Specter.

Miller told the Anchorage Daily News that Palin’s support was crucial.

“I’m absolutely certain that was pivotal,” he said.

The race is being viewed as a litmus test for the Tea Party, who has backed Miller, and a continuation of the battle between Palin and the Murkowski family.

More…. Dan Quayle’s son Ben Quayle won his primary in Arizona after his gutsy anti-Obama ad.
Congrats Ben!
